A (very convenient) pearl of a restaurant, a stone's throw from the central square of Buccheri. Mid-January lunch, we book shortly before arriving and sit down at around 1pm: we are immediately struck by the large free parking on the street in front of the place, and the welcoming but refined interior, colored by many interesting paintings on the walls. The girl in charge of the dining room was kind, the service was fast and attentive, the owner/chef offered us coffee + biscuits + two shots of Malvasia, as well as giving us some advice on what to visit in the area in the afternoon. State-of-the-art dishes: cavati with pork sauce, tagliatelle with mushrooms and ham, scallops with lemon and Palermo-style cutlet. All exquisite, including a light but enjoyable house white. Price? About 20 each. Absurd. Highly recommended. Compliments.

Even though we are not meat fans, we had a great lunch at this place. Vegetable appetizers and homemade pasta; ricotta ravioli, tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms. Truly commendable and reasonably priced. We will definitely be back.

A coronamento di una gita a Sortino e Buccheri, sono andata a cenare in questa trattoria, che prometteva già bene dalla cordialità con cui mi hanno risposto alla telefonata effettuata per prenotare. E poi, al momento della cena, che dire... Gentilezza confermata e cibo squisito: eravamo un tavolo da 6, e abbiamo ordinato ravioli di ricotta al sugo di cinghiale, salsiccia di cinghiale al sugo, arrosto di cinghiale, arrosto di agnello, 2 pizze, un pizzolo, e poi dei dolci. Tutto eccezionale, tanto da indurci a fare il bis di salsiccia. Servizio caratterizzato da cortesia e prezzi onestissimi. Quando tornerò a Buccheri, sicuramente mangerò di nuovo in questa trattoria.
