04/11/2025: We had the most amazing time here, from the moment we arrived to the moment we (reluctantly) had to leave. The staff were exceptional, helping us book taxis when required, as well as rearranging dinner with them. Everything was just seamless. The room was perfect, super private with all the amenities we needed (the fridge was pretty useful). We had room service lunch a couple of times, and the food arrived promptly and perfectly both times. The only small gripe I have is that the menu could maybe have been a bit bigger in case you are dining with them multiple times. In any case it's a minor issue. The restaurant was lovely, it was great to dine outdoors with the cheeky cats wandering around. The hotel really did look after us: when we arranged a day trip to the beach, for example, they provided a parasol and a cool bag with water. The restaurant were also able to offer a packed lunch if given some notice. We had a fantastic time, and I wish every hotel was run like this.

28/10/2025: This local cafe really surprised me. I ordered bruschetta (4 slices of cheese on bread and a very small shrimp). We chose this bruschetta because the other option was only with tomatoes. When the bill came, it said 20 euros for 4 small bruschetta. However, we paid 24 euros for 2 carbonara. 1 piece of bruschetta was priced at 5 euros :). We did not expect such dishonest behavior. I tried to clarify and asked why the 20 euros were added and he insisted that this bruschetta had a small shrimp on it and it is expensive. :) This is not our first time in Sicily and we were very surprised that we were charged 20 euros for a 5 euro starter. :) I did not expect such an experience and such behavior. If you order or recommend something without a menu, be sure to specify the price! To avoid such a surprise and to prevent the service staff from taking advantage of the fact that you are not a local! 11/10/2025: Friendly staff, fast serving. The best cannolo in Avola (and I have tasted quite a few). Very good prices as well, and great value for money.

06/10/2025: They have gluten-free products at great prices. We ordered a gluten-free cream brioche and a small croissant with regular ricotta for a total of €2.60, both very good.

15/08/2025: After ordering four granitas and four brioches, our order arrived 15 minutes later with only the granitas (which were already melting). After another 10 minutes, the brioches arrived (we had kindly asked for them to be reheated, but they were cold). The result: we ended up with melted granitas and cold brioches; the complete opposite of what we had planned. Not recommended!!!

31/08/2025: I booked catering for August 16, 2025, at this venue, with a kids' menu featuring panelle cutlets and fries, and chicken wings. We took it all to the beach and had a great party. I received several compliments on the quality of the food at a fair price.

10/07/2025: Complete with everything, a place immersed in vintage, for lunch you can find everything from pasta to sandwiches to dessert: basically, everything is complete.

08/12/2025: Came here as a package. Pros: Spacious room. Delicious bread. Cons: A long walk with a suitcase, and the grounds are uneven. Only the bread was delicious. There's a large supermarket 700 meters away, which offers salmon sushi and several types of Japanese cup ramen. The beer is room temperature.

06/12/2025: The only flaw is the hair dryers, which when turned on in the adjacent rooms sound like airplanes.

27/11/2025: We were happy to find an open restaurant and we were not disappointed! 😊 I got filled pasta with grouper and pistachios and it was delicious. The waitor was an older nice man who spoke some German. Later the place filled up and he has to work hard for his money. He also recommend to try arancini.... best decision ever, it was very tasty! A must have there!

01/11/2025: Regular coffee shop, the people and espresso is way better than the food.

30/10/2025: A very nice bar on the way from the train station to the archaeological park and the old town. I recommend the coffee and the lemon torte.

12/11/2025: I haven't been here for a long time and I've found everything changed. The pizza, as always, is delicious. The dining room is very nice, but what's more important, finally a professional in the dining room who really makes you feel at home... congratulations.

26/08/2025: This modern bakery was discovered by chance as we left the Padre Pio Dairy, which is just a few steps away and which I highly recommend. But let's not waste time chit-chatting. Once you've walked in and gotten your number... Yes, you get a number because, being a shrine to bread and the like, there's always a line, but it's absolutely worth it. In four days, we tried almost everything. Don't miss the ricotta iris and the ricotta and pistachio-filled crescent rolls. The brioche is superb, as are the various types of bread. The arancini are also remarkable. The staff is always smiling and effortlessly satisfies all their customers' cravings.
