We dined at Chef Ciccio Sultano's restaurant on June 2nd and can confidently say it was an extraordinary experience. Although we've already had the opportunity to try other Michelin-starred restaurants, Maestro Sultano's culinary offerings stand out and surpass them in many ways. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with great warmth and professionalism by the chef and his entire staff. Every detail is meticulously crafted to offer guests not just a simple dinner, but a truly sensory experience. The setting is elegant, refined, and welcoming, perfect for celebrating any special occasion. We opted for the Stupor Mundi menu: a true journey through the tastes and flavors of Sicily, expertly reinterpreted by Chef Sultano's technique, flair, and creativity, combining tradition, innovation, and quality. Each course embodies unique flavors, and dinner transforms into a true gastronomic journey that will captivate you for at least two hours. Special praise goes to the entire staff at Il Duomo restaurant: attentive, knowledgeable, thoughtful, and highly professional. A special mention, however, goes to Rosario, who made our evening even more memorable. He left nothing to chance, always attentive to our every need, and he guided us with discretion and elegance, explaining each dish with unparalleled skill and passion. His impeccable service added value to an already excellent experience.
We will definitely return to try the Timballo del Gattopardo and indulge in the chef's cuisine.

We had lunch at Chef Ciccio Sultano's Duomo, and the experience was overall good, with high-quality cuisine and a generally attentive dining room, although a few details slightly affected the overall impression.
The welcome was excellent, and the location is particularly well-maintained.
The service was overall very attentive and punctual: the waiters were always present, discreet, and well-organized, ensuring a smooth and well-managed lunch. I'd also like to point out the presence of a waiter who, in our opinion, was probably at the beginning of his professional career: despite a few minor inaccuracies, he moved naturally between the tables and was always very friendly and courteous.
As for the culinary experience itself, the initial amuse-bouche were interesting and well-thought out.
Among the dishes, I particularly enjoyed the first course, featuring an excellent contrast between the butter and the Albacore tuna, along with the carrot sauce—a very successful and pleasant balance of flavors. The tuna belly with onion sauce was also very convincing, a harmonious, precise, and well-balanced dish.
The final dessert, however, was less convincing: the milk ice cream with black cherries and chocolate was pleasant but not particularly memorable. After a journey of this caliber, I would have expected a more incisive and original finale.
One note concerns the wine service. We were served an excellent 2011 blend, carefully decanted and perfectly integrated into the gastronomic experience. My friend's technical question was answered precisely and helpfully, and at the end of his explanation, he mentioned that, compared to the tasting menu we had chosen, the wine was still a top-notch pairing, even considering the price. I didn't particularly appreciate this reference to value, because it gave the impression of prioritizing the relationship between experience and price, rather than focusing exclusively on the quality of the wine and the service.
Finally, we were charged for water when we received the bill. We understand that it should have been included. It's a modest amount, but it's these small details that impact the overall experience.
Overall, a good lunch with very well-executed dishes, an elegant location, and generally attentive service. A few small details, however, slightly detracted from an experience that was still positive, but not entirely up to expectations.

Tried for lunch. Menu with amuse-bouche, three main courses, two glasses of wine, coffee, and petites fours. All of the quality is worthy of a two-star establishment.

Excellent food, unfortunately the lunch was ruined by an impertinent waiter who took unauthorized licenses…

Eating at this restaurant is a true experience, something you should try at least once.
I went for lunch with my family, and we chose the three-course menu with two glasses of wine.
It began with a welcome and then continued with spaghetti with bottarga: my favorite dish, exceptional.
We were then served a main course and dessert, finishing with a small pastry.
We were thrilled!
Highly recommended for anyone wanting a true culinary experience in Sicily.
