Situated just behind the Duomo in the beautiful Ragusa Ibla, this tranquil place is a must visit in case you want to experience Sicily's refined flavours. A perfect culinary experience whilst visiting UNESCO's Valle di Noto baroque cities and their castels. Stupor Mundi (food) and Movimento (wine) menus competed and ultimately blended in an astonishing manner towards the end in our mouths and finely twisted our minds. A truly two-star Michelin experience which we highly recommend.

What an experience. It was a surprise and an immense pleasure to be welcomed by Chef Sultano himself, who expressed his joy at seeing two quite young diners in his restaurant. The routes we chose, food and wine, were a whirlwind of emotions and incredible discoveries. Very well trained and also very friendly and pleasant staff (special mention for Adriana). Important location, located in a timeless place a stone's throw from the wonderful San Giorgio cathedral. An evening that I will hardly forget.

Ogni tanto ci piace regalarci una cena stellata e con questa motivazione prenotiamo da Sultano. L’esperienza è stata abbastanza positiva, ma non eccellente come ci aspettavamo; purtroppo non credo che meriti il massimo del punteggio. Alcuni piatti molto buoni- tutti gli antipasti ed il pesce- alcuni senza personalità- i ravioli e la mini pasticceria-. Un particolare apparentemente di secondo piano, ma non per un 2*: parecchi errori con la posateria- il cucchiaio da minestra è il più grande ! Il coltello con il manico di legno da trattoria… suvvia !-

The most exciting food experience of our lives. Absolutely blown away by the level of detail and care in every aspect throughout dinner service. Eating Ciccio Sultano food felt as if we went on a new journey through a different region in Sicily with every bite, it was truly extraordinary. The wine pairing was crafted to perfectly complement each course of the tasting menu. The sommelier was fantastic, very knowledgeable and did an excellent job explaining the vintage, vineyard and the reason for the pairing. From the moment the doors to the restaurant opened we were made to fell like the only people in the restaurant which is a special feeling, the servers explained every dish that came out and did not miss a single detail they certainly played a big part in making this such a fantastic experience. To summarize I feel like did a tour of Sicily in an evening from the food, wine, hospitality and warmth of the restaurant. Ciccio Sultano and his team are first class and truly deserving of their recognition. We look forward to dining here again.
