01/10/2025: We celebrated our daughter's 18th birthday on Sunday! Everything was organized and meticulously planned. Manuela, who looked after us from start to finish, was fabulous, and the staff in the dining room were very professional. They accommodated Carlotta's every wish, even organizing a reception and a cake with a dessert buffet outside: enchanting. Thank you so much.

01/10/2025: A good restaurant in the Capo Mulini area of ​​Acireale. What can I say? I was pleasantly satisfied with everything I ate. Ultimately, the tasting menu is the best choice because you can sample quite a few dishes, from appetizers to first courses, while still keeping the portions fairly generous. The appetizers are very varied, starting with smoky flavors, moving on to oysters and raw fish, and finishing with seafood fritters, mussels, and other dishes. The first courses, a pasta dish and a risotto, were both delicious and flavorful. Perhaps my only personal complaint is that I wouldn't have used trofie for the pasta, which isn't typical of Sicily, but rather opted for another type of pasta. For the rest, two glasses of wine are included in the price. Reservations are recommended.

I gave it 4 stars for the service and atmosphere because the tables are on the street, with plastic cutlery, and you have to pick up your own plates and bring them to your table. 15/09/2025: Excellent sandwiches, plated meat could be improved. I've eaten at I Mantellina several times, and I must say the sandwiches are truly delicious: the sausage and caponata sandwich, in particular, is a true specialty, tasty and well-prepared. As for the plated beef, my experience wasn't as positive: the cut was unusual and poorly finished, and the meat was tough and sinewy. It was a generous portion, but I would have preferred less quantity and higher quality. In summary: I definitely recommend the sandwiches, which are the restaurant's strong point, but I wasn't entirely sold on the plated beef.

Well, it happened to me 🙈🤭🤣😍 The name of the place had intrigued my husband for a while, and last night we finally decided to go. What can I say: quality, professionalism, very kind and very fast staff, focaccias that were nothing short of spectacular, quality ingredients, light, thin, soft but crunchy at the same time, in short, wonderful. For my daughter we had a slice of delicious pizza, but they also bring platters with several slices of pizza... 5-star review, from the moment we took the first bite, and without being biased I told those at the table that I would write many positive things, without knowing that I knew the owners🤭 but I didn't know that the place was theirs, so well done guys, fully deserved review... we will be back with great pleasure.
