11/03/2025: Small restaurant in the historic center of Acireale. It offers truly delicious maxi toasts topped with all kinds of ingredients. There are also gluten-free toasts, spectacular!! Quick and courteous service. Super recommended!

10/02/2025: Very friendly, really the best arancini around, creamy, crispy, generously filled and a real taste explosion!!! While we waited for the freshly prepared arancini (max. 10 minutes) we got a “Cipollina” to taste and it was also wonderfully filled with mozzarella, caramelized onions, ham and tomato sauce, wonderfully spicy. When we wanted to take some cookies with us, the boss was kind enough to make the decision for us and put something together for us, plus two large pieces of a pistachio cookie and a large almond-orange cookie! So no matter how, come here and enjoy these delicacies, they are worth every journey and detour 🥰🥰🥰

15/01/2025: If you really like arancini and pastries, friendly people mixed into a truly italian atmosphere, this is THE place to go !!! Fabio ruled his family shop like a master chief, he's very empathic with guests and always prone to give you advices to try food wich fit yours tastes and wishes carefully. There's about 10 kinds of arancino and also a lot of pastries and cup cakes. Therefore, pizetta (small pizza) and sandwiches are genuinely made to open your appetite. I will advise you Cipoletta, one of my favourite 😘. There's also mineral water (sparkling or not), Chinotto, Italian beers like Messina, Moretti, Castello and more known internationnally but not Italian, Heineken. Last but not least, it's cheap so quality price scale is very high, so if your way brings you to Acireale's old train station you must go there and grab something to eat, you will see how a blast it is !!!

09/03/2025: I had never eaten Japanese food before last Sunday, when my friend, already an expert in sushi and poke, suggested that I go to this place. Very particular location, characteristic and clean. We didn't wait long also because it was 7.45pm when we arrived, we ordered two poke with a price starting from €13.50; the good thing is the wide choice of ingredients that can be included, the quality of the product was very good. The staff was quite friendly and helpful. We paid around €41, a little high, but also deserved. I recommend this place to people open to oriental cuisine, therefore also very spicy and tasty, but I don't recommend it to families with small children, because obviously and rightly the menu is entirely made up of Japanese cuisine dishes. A characteristic place, however it is not for everyone.

20/02/2025: If you are a sushi lover and you are in Acireale, this restaurant is a must. Unlike the usual all-you-can-eat options, here the sushi is à la carte, a choice that is reflected in the quality and care of every single piece. The location is welcoming and well-kept, perfect for a relaxing dinner. The service was impeccable: quick, attentive and friendly. The menu offers a vast selection of dishes, with the possibility of choosing predefined boxes which help to contain the overall cost without sacrificing variety. Sushi? Simply exceptional. Each piece is a perfect combination of freshness, balance and surprising flavours. You can feel the research in the ingredients and combinations, and the result is a truly unforgettable tasting experience. The final bill was around 45 euros each, a more than honest figure considering the quality and quantity of food. There were five of us, all with excellent appetites, and we left more than full and satisfied. An experience to be repeated without a doubt. Five full stars. Highly recommended for those from Acireale and surrounding areas!

10/03/2025: A romantically authentic place with a lava beach - not for swimming. The trattoria with a special offer of fresh fish that you select in the kitchen. Higher priced, simple and delicious with a great wine selection. The waiters seem a little arrogant at first and knowing a little Italian will soften your heart. Parking is modest and come early or reserve. A visit is worth it!

09/03/2025: On the plus side, I was pleasantly surprised by the variety on the menu and that's about it. negative: the rice in the sushi falls apart, you can't pick it up with chopsticks or forks, it falls apart, breaks, the only waiter was an Italian guy who was good-natured and had a smile, all other nationalities had a dissatisfied face. People come to the restaurant to relax, eat, enjoy and pay, and here everyone has a dissatisfied face.four tables with us waited a long time for the mimosa cake, which is on the menu, but none of the waiters said that it had to be ordered separately on the computer, someone was not brought prosecco, which is on the menu... I ordered an extra glass of wine, but this is just a name, it actually turned out to be transparent in color and taste of the water, I definitely do not recommend ordering a glass of wine here. The March 8th party was definitely ruined here, the same uniform for the waiters does not give those same waiters an understanding of the standards of working with customers. P.S. The sashimi was fresh and delicious, but! I wonder if this sushi restaurant knows how to serve sashimi with wasabi? Do people here know that wasabi is used in sushi not only to flavor it, but also as a natural antiseptic that kills bacteria in fresh fish? And yes, half the tables in the entire restaurant were free, but we were told that they were all occupied and they had difficulty finding a seat for the two of us...

27/02/2025: Greetings, I can guarantee that the products of the Pasquini pasta factory have always been a guarantee of quality and goodness. Even though I have been savoring them for years, every time I taste one, my palate is thrilled by the deliciousness they manage to give me. Furthermore, I also had them tasted by several very strict chefs who were forced to admit that Pasquini is of very high standards... this is why I would have already given the Pasquini pasta factory not one but several Michelin stars without thinking about it. Thanks to all the pasta makers at the Pasquini pasta factory for their professionalism and kindness...keep it up! I recommend it to all types of palates... Lisa

23/01/2025: Acireale CT. Corso Sicilia, 59. A shop I have frequented since it opened. Fresh pasta, stuffed pasta. And from then on, once or twice a week, tortellini, cream and ham became a dish enjoyed by the whole family. Now my visits have become less frequent but the quality of the products and the courtesy of the staff have remained the same.

24/02/2025: Went for Valentine's Day for dinner with my girlfriend, ordered two pizzas, after waiting more than 20 minutes to order. The pizzas, a margherita and one with cream and pistachio flour, tasted completely like nothing. Burrata and mozzarella completely tasteless, pistachio same thing. I honestly didn't expect it and I'm sorry to write this review but I was very disappointed. I had seen it on TikTok and was curious to try it since it looked very good.

02/03/2025: Gentilezza e cortesia accompagnano il buon cibo. Ci trovavamo ad Acireale in occasione del Carnevale e cercavamo un luogo dove poter pranzare in maniera adeguata. Spostandoci tra i vicoli del centro storico, abbiamo scorto, questa trattoria tipica siciliana che proponeva menù fisso di carnevale. Locale pieno e naturalmente c'era parecchia gente in attesa fuori dal locale. Pertanto chiedo se era possibile sedersi ( noi eravamo in 4, 2 adulti e due bambine di 5anni), il cameriere molto gentile mi spiega la situazione e mi dice che se avevamo la.paziemza di attendere 30 minuti ci avrebbero dato la possibilità di pranzare. E così è stato ci hanno fatto accomodare e ci hanno servito in tempi brevi. Il menù prevedeva del dei maccheroni al sugo, salsiccia al sugo con patate e chiacchiere a chiusura. Nonostante il menù fisso era tutto molto buono, casareccio e tipico. La titolare è una persona squisita, i suoi collaboratori, tutti giovani, gentili cortesi educati e preparati. Da tornarci in occasioni diverse per scoprire altre prelibatezze alla carta.

23/02/2025: Perfect candidate for “NIGHTMARE KITCHENS”!!!! Let's start from the beginning: we book a table for 2pm but, although our arrival was punctual, we wait outside for over an hour!! The slow and incompetent waiters who answer "yes immediately" to every request but leave without ever coming back. The food, presented as in the best trashy reality shows, AWFUL (for example the pasta with clams is pasta with oil, try it!!!!). But let's get to the bill...we paid a whopping 440 euros for 5 people including a child whose pasta never arrived!! Recommended for those who want to be made fun of by all the staff, spend money and remain starving!!
