16/06/2025: I was looking for a quiet place in front of the hotel to have dinner after a day of work. And here I found a place where I will definitely return every time I go to Catania. The waiters are very kind, impeccable service and tranquility... thank you ☺️

25/05/2025: Returning from our daily tourist tour, we decided to stop for dinner outside. Our choice fell on Trattoria Pizzeria Monte Sant'Agata, located in a small street of Via Etnea, in the heart of the historic center of Catania. Upon our arrival, around 9:00 pm, we were a little perplexed to see that we were the only customers present, both outside and inside the restaurant, where only one table was occupied — by the managers themselves. We were greeted by a waiter (perhaps also the owner) who was very kind, polite and open to conversation. However, in my opinion, his approach was far too sugary, bordering on excessive. The quality of the dishes is sufficient, but certainly improvable. In particular, the peppered mussels seemed not to have been prepared on the spot, but rather reheated: you could tell by the consistency of the mollusc. Of the two first courses ordered, one was supposed to be a risotto alla pescatora, but we were served a plate of spaghetti alla pescatora, probably to simplify the preparation with just one cooking. The description of the bill was also not clear: I would have liked to know the details of the individual items, such as the cost of water and the two glasses of wine. The prices seemed slightly high to me, and this, especially in a tourist-oriented city like Catania, can give a negative impression, risking damaging

04/01/2025: I was passing through this new bar. The coffee is a perfect balance in the cup. We had a baked pasta that was exquisite to say the least. I am more than satisfied and I recommend it to you.

11/04/2025: Ottimo cibo, buonissimi i cocktail, complimenti a Simone, gentilissimo e super disponibile, sa cosa consigliare e anche in mezzo al caos ha sempre un sorriso e un occhio di riguardo per TUTTI i clienti. A differenza del collega PILO (signora sulla quarantina con occhiali e capelli ricci) che è stato molto maleducato per tutta la serata, quasi quasi gli stavamo facendo favore ad occupare il tavolo. Modi molto scortesi. Lo staff eccezionale, se non fosse stato per lui che ad ogni parola che diceva ci faceva venire voglia di alzarci e andare nel locale accanto. Capisco lo stress, ma comunque sei pagato per offrire un servizio e magari un sorriso o un minimo di gentilezza sarebbe apprezzato

21/04/2025: Just this morning, recommended by a friend, I purchased a chocolate dove. What can I say.... very kind and helpful owner and employee. The super top dove👍🏽 very soft and excellent filling. Congratulations 👏🏽 I recommend it

18/05/2025: Mi sono trovato a cenare con amici al Mazzini bristot di Misterbianco di sabato insieme ad altri 3 amici miei. Ci hanno fatto accomodare subito all esterno e ci hanno detto di aspettare qualche minuto per poter prendere le comande. Dopo 10 minuti abbiamo ordinato 2 misti fritti di cui uno semplice e l altro al pistacchio e un panino a testa oltre che le bevande. Dopo altri 5 minuti arrivano le bevande , ma due sono sbagliate e quindi lo facciamo notare , tornano indietro e ci chiedono il numero del tavolo che peraltro non c'era . Alla fine portano le due bevande mancanti , questa volta giuste. Un attesa di oltre un ora solo per gli antipasti , poi arrivano e sono freddi . Dopo nemmeno 5 minuti portano i panini (stavamo ancora mangiando gli antipasti) , siamo 4 e ne portano solo 3 dicendo al mio amico che a breve avrebbero portato anche il suo. Un attesa interminabile per il mio amico , fatta di disattenzioni a livello di servizio , camerieri che giocavano a scarica barile e alla fine dopo che noi tutti avevamo finito portano il benedetto panino mancante (fatto al momento perché se lo erano dimenticato!) ma colpo di scena c'è la cipolla che il mio amico aveva espressamente tolto in fase di ordinazione. Non discuto sulla qualità più di tanto perché rientra nel mangiabile ma do due stelle per un servizio pessimo degno di Cucine da Incubo : vedevi camerieri girare con piatti in mano anche per 10 minuti perché o non trovavano il tavolo o lo sbagliavano proprio! Tutto fanno tutto e alla fine non fanno nulla.. Prezzo coerente con ciò che abbiamo preso ma solo per il servizio Non ci ritornerò più

01/05/2025: We ate sandwiches with some friends on Monday evening and I would like to compliment the older waiter who served us at the table. A truly great person, polite, kind, elegant, polite and very good, just as the boy at the checkout seemed good too. I'm writing this review just so I know that they really appreciated his attitude and the dessert suggestion 👀.

09/06/2025: It's hard to give negative reviews, but unfortunately they are given to stimulate everyone to do their best, which is always possible. Good pizza, but little attention to service. Drinks in slices, maybe a tray. Almost everything warm, undrinkable beer that I would not have served or proposed if there had been problems with the beer system or the fridges, we point out and they are taken away and put in the fridge asking for a bottle that is also warm, response to our small complaint, they are not the fridge 🤔. At the end of the pizza they bring back the beers on tap, we expected a new tap instead....... undrinkable. We are offered a sweet pizza, appreciated that in our opinion implicitly proved us right, but it doesn't matter, in our opinion bad management. Our advice is to be careful, certain nonsense can and must be avoided considering the location and the proposal that are of a high level. Ours wants to be an incentive to do well and pay more attention.

13/05/2025: Terrible experience you can't pay 29 euros for 2 small trays... one of swordfish sauce with no joke 4 cubes of fish 8 euros and one of octopus salad 500g paid 21€ i.e. 40 €/Kg..are you serious? moreover not even well made...I was shocked learn to work and have respect for the customer that people are willing to pay but a fair price and above all you pay for quality and here we are very far away!
