27/09/2025: Good morning, today after years I went to the Magri bar on the viale, I have to say that I was disappointed, to bring two granitas and two breakfasts the girl made 4 trips, not to mention the wrong taste of the granita and one of the two brioches that arrived late, the granita inedible, the pistachio that tasted of nothing, rude and absent staff, everyone annoyed, the only smiler was the girl at the cashier with glasses, never again!

23/10/2025: Unfortunately, for the past year or so, every time we've eaten (at least the last three times), we've felt really sick, never with stomach pain or diarrhea. We thought it was a one-off, but instead it happened again, even with a simple kebab without vegetables. The quality or cooking method probably changed. I'm sorry because this problem hadn't occurred in the past, but it needs to be reported because our health needs to be protected. I hope they take action and improve the quality, because everyone who ate the kebabs has experienced the symptoms, and on three occasions within months.

17/08/2025: We stopped for ice cream on the way. It's a simple place, but the quality is excellent. The pistachio ice cream and zuppa inglese were extraordinary. The lady was very kind, and what can I say about the price? It was great. We'll definitely be back!
14/08/2025: We got a kilo of ice cream from their van because they were cleaning the shop after work (so we were told), and it was absolutely disgusting! It tasted like a mix of granita and ice cream, it wasn't fresh at all, it had been stirred who knows how many times... for €15 a kilo, you can get better!

02/11/2025: I've been buying traditional truffles all my life. They used to be made with fresh cream, now they're made with long-life cream, and I paid for them as if the cream were fresh.
01/09/2025: A historic and excellent bar, with good coffee, delicious desserts, pizzas, and a ready-made hot food menu. I recommend it.

09/09/2025: Enjoying the hot food, granita, ice cream, and various pastries in this taste laboratory, which isn't a bar, is an almost unique experience. Paolo uses only high-quality, seasonal ingredients. He combines his father's tradition with his art of reinventing and enriching typical Sicilian products, in addition to the artisanal production of pandoro, panettone, colomba, and various cakes. I would also add the friendliness, politeness, and professionalism of the father and son owners.
25/06/2025: If you want to find the highest quality, you have to go to Bar Doge in Acireale.
The zeppole, desserts, hot food, all prepared with top quality ingredients.
The owner, Paolo always welcomes you with a smile and manages to entertain customers with joy and spontaneity and an aspect not to be overlooked, you will always find excellent music.
I recommend it to everyone

15/08/2025: Embarrassing organization. I called at 8:00 PM to make a reservation, but they gave me a table for 9:00 PM. At 8:40 PM, I called back to let them know about the delay, and we moved to 9:30 PM, where they confirmed. We arrived on time... and surprise: they didn't have a reservation in our name. Their only suggestion? Wait an hour. After two calls and a confirmation, we left. Chaotic management and zero respect for the customer.

The scallop hadn't been floured and was just drizzled with lemon...
The other courses, served by various diners, weren't bad, but...

26/08/2025: This is my first time at this café! I had a lovely hot braided bun for breakfast and a good coffee. The staff was very friendly. I highly recommend it!
12/07/2025: A great bar, with an outdoor area that allows for a quiet and relaxing atmosphere despite being in a busy area, yet packed with shops, Vicerè Park, and the large Friday market.
The staff is always friendly and polite, and the granita and brioche con tuppo are delicious!

27/09/2025: Extremely high prices... I have to say, sorry, but it's absolutely not right to charge 12 euros for an Aperol Spritz and 7 euros for a Messina beer. Where have we ended up? How can someone accept something like this? It's absolutely not right. It's easy to make money like this, congratulations! A bottle of Aperol in the store costs 10 euros. Easy, easy... for now you've made a profit, but I think someone will read this review of mine and decide to go elsewhere. From my side, I can only say: shame on you.
06/09/2025: The owner is absolutely unsympathetic, the prices are exorbitant for basic cocktails, even if they're accompanied by something more than peanuts and chips, the girls in the dining room are eager to accommodate customers' requests, but they're definitely not enough to handle a room packed with thirsty people. We suggest they look for more fulfilling jobs (because they're capable!), the cashier seeks fair pricing and prepares a menu with costs (because it doesn't exist), and the drinkers should move. Goodbye!
