Plaza Bread & Beer In Catania

We had a truly fantastic experience at this hotel! We stopped here spontaneously, and honestly, we couldn't have made a better choice. The sea view was stunning, the room very clean and well-maintained, and the atmosphere was relaxing. The reception was truly top-notch: the gentleman working there was extremely kind, very professional, and always available to help us with a smile. All the staff were also very welcoming, and we felt welcome right away. The breakfast was good and well-organized, with everything you need to start the day off right. I can honestly say it was a very, very positive experience, and we would happily return. Highly recommended!

We stayed here for one night on a trip to the Po Delta. The hotel has a direct access to the waterfront, a pool, a fitness room, and parking is included. The exterior is lovely, the rooms are a bit dated but still very nice, functional, and clean. Given my choice, I prefer the dated, functional rooms to the ultra-modern, futuristic ones, where turning on and adjusting the shower water takes 10 minutes to figure out how to use the system, while hot or cold water comes from where you least expect it. The staff is young and extremely friendly, the breakfast is excellent and plentiful. In short, a HIGHLY RECOMMENDED property!

One of the best properties in Lido degli Estensi, both for its location and for everything else, featuring two elevators, indoor and outdoor parking, a pool, a gym, and more. Our stay between April 25th and May 1st, 2026, was perfect in every way. The tireless and extremely professional management of Mr. Alessandro, assisted by Ms. Janet, demonstrated in every aspect their excellent experience, gained over decades of hard work, with excellent results, from welcome to departure, with truly superior courtesy and customer service. A special thanks to Chiara, Maria, Silvia, Andrea, and Giuseppe, a team of young professionals with excellent hotel management training, for their highly appreciated and impeccable service in the dining room and bar, and to the Housekeeping department, which ensured we always enjoyed extremely clean and meticulously maintained rooms.

Unfortunately, after a great night, breakfast was a disaster. The staff apologized, saying the instructions given in the dining room hadn't been heeded. So, the wait was very long. Everything was cold. The rooms were comfortable with a sea view, but the bathroom was a little small for a 4-star hotel. Excellent location, just steps from the sea and a few meters from the promenade. Hoping it was just a one-off incident.
