12/02/2025: Small city bar well run by very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast products are excellent and prepared by their kitchen. I always go there willingly.

27/11/2024: I haven’t been at a better place in Catania. This is my #1. The atmosphere is amazing, we felt so welcomed. We don’t speak Italian, but could still make a great order. It was the most local and pleasant experience. Cake of the day as a little dessert was so fluffy and gentle!! Thank you so much 😍

14/02/2025: Twenty years ago, or so, I entered Di Vincenzo's for the first time. Since then it has been an obligatory detour when I am near the mountain, Etna. Arriving in Bronte is a unique experience: those who have never seen pistachio trees find themselves faced with an incredible landscape in every season. They have always reminded me of Mondrian's tree, with those downward curves of the branches. Di Vincenzo is on the road, you can't go wrong. You enter and never want to leave again. For the record: there I tasted my first real pistachio ice cream, which can now also be found in other ice cream shops. Not the almost psychedelic green I was used to, but a hazelnut with hints of green and violet. And a unique taste. Speaking of pistachios. Those of Bronte are oblong. And they have purple skin: the others that are on the market and pass themselves off as Bronte pistachios come from Iran or in any case from the Middle East. The taste of Bronte pistachios is unique and inimitable. And you can take it home: Di Vincenzo's specialty are the boxes with almond pastes and pistachio pastes, but don't leave there without a pistachio cake. It doesn't look like anything else (vaguely reminiscent of the hazelnut cake typical of Piedmont, in terms of processing and humidity, if you really have to compare it to anything). And it is so particular that it even deserves a telephone order first, to avoid the risk of not finding it.

09/11/2024: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I've been going to this bar for three years now. So I can say that the atmosphere is welcoming and well cared for, perfect for relaxing alone or with friends. The staff is very kind and always available, they make you feel at home every time. The quality of the drinks is excellent: the coffee is truly one of the best I have ever tasted, prepared and served with care. Not just coffee, the drinks are also quality and delicious. The sweets and snacks section is also excellent. Highly recommended for a quality break in a pleasant environment!

01/03/2025: Cibo eccezionale, abbiamo preso tagliere di salumi e formaggi (gustosissimo ) in più ci hanno fatto assaggiare (senza averla chiesta) la mortadella di asina (buonissima), patate al forno con bacon e formaggio, e selezione di tagliate per 4 ( una esperienza favolosa) più un fantastico hamburger. Personale gentile e servizio veloce. È stata una piacevole sorpresa e sicuramente torneremo.

01/03/2025: An unbeatable place to eat meat in Sicily and drink the best beers you can drink on the Island. Very well attended. We ate meat and tried donkey meat. They had a great detail with the coffees and some cakes similar to the piononos that they brought us from another bar Sicily is different, and Akkademia is recommended for beers or meats. If you want both.

16/02/2025: Truly excellent! Old-fashioned place with every home-cooked delicacy, very low prices and really kind managers! Baked pasta, savory pie and omelettes and a coke for two, 14 euros: what more could you want?!?!

22/01/2025: We ate on January 20th for dinner in this restaurant and I must say regarding the restaurant maximum cleanliness, courtesy and kindness. We were welcomed with bruschetta offered by the house. A cuddle towards the customer, a very welcome kindness. The menus are well described and presented well. The only flaw is that the food in general is too salty and this is certainly out of place at least as far as I'm concerned, a second course with pork ribs and sautéed potatoes, in addition to the meat being quite salty, the potatoes were also raw. Dessert, specifically "hazelnut profiterol" was not entirely fresh in my opinion.

29/12/2024: È la granita più buona dell’hinterland. I prodotti sono di altissima qualità e genuini. Granite dai gusti originali e di ottima fattura. Il gusto pistacchio è il mio preferito. Ho consumato una granita Pistacchio, mandorla e corbezzoli con una brioche e un caffè pagando € 5. Prezzi modici, quatta alta. Consigliato.

09/02/2025: Bruschetta bread all burnt, endless waiting and then having a flavorless and even half burnt pizza. Chips and arancinetti cooked several times. Dirty and unwatchable bathroom. Poor service where the waiter left the plate in a grumpy manner. Management changes but the quality of the product does not change. NOT RECOMMENDED.
