And then finding them open late at night, under the rain and that they turn the oven back on is not bad.

08/05/2025: Beautiful, luxurious property. incredible service, the staff is top notch. took the cocktail class with friends, excellent and learned a lot of great bartending techniques. Rooms are well appointed with beautiful decor and comfortable beds and linens.
21/04/2025: We stayed at Monaci for one night and had a lovely experience overall. At check-in, we were welcomed with a glass of excellent wine and a friendly chat at the bar. The bar has a beautiful and unique interior, and the staff were very attentive and pleasant to talk to.
The hotel itself is good, but we had a series of unexpected, minor issues that left us with mixed impressions. The value for money felt a bit high — we have a lot of experience staying at 5-star hotels and expected service that fully matched that level, so we were somewhat disappointed.
However, Giorgio, Klaudi, and Irina helped us end our stay with warm and positive emotions — we’re truly grateful for that.
The food in the restaurant was very tasty, and we really enjoyed our lunch there.

17/02/2025: De pizza tonno zou ik niet aanbevelen : ik kreeg er achteraf diarree van. De andere pizza was ok. Men spreekt enkel Italiaans. De menu is ook italiaans, dus ofwel een vertaler meenemen of google translate. Men serveert er Belgisch bier van de tap (Leffe).

31/05/2025: I've always heard about it in the city, I went for lunch, even though there was no one there when we arrived (it was 12:00) we sat down and from the order to when we received the dishes more than 30 minutes passed. Very sad hamburger, cooked or rather raw and dry potatoes. Tasteless cutlet even if quite tender but you definitely expect more in a place like that. In our case a normal trattoria would be able to do better. Prices no comment... 3 EUR per person just for service (cash even a child who shared things with us). A bottle of water counted as extra on the bill... (Obviously cancelled after having pointed it out)
More than 50€ for the dishes in the photo, a water and a lemonade. I think I don't have to add anything else

26/04/2025: Excellent food. Kindness and professionalism on the part of both the waiters and the owner, a very beautiful room especially due to the wooden roof and the windows. I had lunch on a non-holiday Sunday and I appreciated the care towards the customer, the appetizer with unusual dishes and the tranquility. Obviously on Easter Monday however, as the room was completely full and with many children, there was a lot of noise but that's normal.
06/04/2025: Place managed by the owners, with a friendly and kind manner. The food made up of genuine products and traditional dishes, in short, is a place to recommend

06/06/2025: The food was exceptional, I could say that here I was served the best steak I have ever eaten. The staff was friendly but a bit overwhelmed, the waiting times are very long, whether I wanted to order or pay. The location is nice and clean, there is also a terrace. The prices are high but the quality is also worth it. If I end up in Catania again I will definitely pay them a visit.

Distracted staff. I start from the entrance to the restaurant, when my boyfriend and I showed the reservation, we wanted to choose a seat, the boy made us go out, then come back in and sit inside, and then let us go out again because the seats he had assigned to us were already prepared. Staff unprepared in explaining the dishes and awkward: two waiters arrived at the tables and stared at us until we moved some dishes, even though there was plenty of space.
Shaky tables and paper placemats despite the THREE EUROS AND FIFTY 3.50 cover charge
Extremely overpriced in relation to the portions served. Poor and old place with tables in the middle of the street
The only positive thing was the quality of the food, but not positive enough to make up for all the remaining general discomfort.
