13/10/2025: Excellent catering service for my daughter's confirmation. The food was plentiful and delicious, and the staff was extremely kind, helpful, and ready to accommodate our every request. The cake was a masterpiece, truly exquisite, both with the white and chocolate cream, as well as the pistachio and lemon cake. Highly recommended. I will choose Caffè Battiati again for my next event. 💯

01/12/2025: As soon as we sat down, the waitress brought us a bottle of water, a small plate of chips, and a plate of bruschetta. We told her there was a mistake and that we had never ordered those things. We were told it was "because of the wait," so we assumed it was a welcome "aperitif" offered by the house. At the end of the dinner, the surprise arrived: an extra ten euros on the bill. What they made you believe was a complimentary dish was actually an appetizer imposed and charged for. Unbelievable. Upon pointing this out, we were refunded. I advise the owner to reconsider this "terrible" marketing strategy (bordering on scamming), because doing so will only drive away customers. The pizza is good, the staff is friendly, the atmosphere is pleasant, and we would have gladly returned. What a shame. I'm still giving it 4 stars, hoping these recommendations will be taken into account.

22/11/2025: They don't keep kindness and courtesy hidden away, but show it to everyone. Possible and impossible are their motto. Very good pizza with very light crust. As I always say, food is a personal pleasure that everyone should experience for themselves.

27/04/2026: When we arrived, the waitress saw us both, put two napkins on, but then immediately took one away. The red beer was good. We asked for chips with chedder and bacon sauce, but it was anything but chedder. It was an expired, sour sauce with a horrible taste. Burnt bacon and salty chips, like in brine. The bad thing was that I took the plate away, we didn't eat them, and no one was there to ask if there was something wrong. In fact, I called the waiter and told him to let the waitress eat them. Then I turned around and found two waiters looking at each other and talking to each other, definitely inappropriately. We definitely won't be back. I highly recommend getting the red draft beer but not the chips. So I'll add one more thing, if you're the owner and your waiters come to you with a complaint, you should have run to hear it which you didn't do, the waiters are kind but not all of them, he doesn't take off his napkin there were two of us even if only my companion was eating but it was said that I would also contribute, so before responding to a complaint I advise you to go and find out what happened since you weren't there, I just wish you would have tasted that dish too so you understand what you give to people

03/05/2026: The wait staff's attention to detail was obsessive; the appetizer, first course, and second course were consumed in 50 minutes. We made it clear we were tourists, and we weren't given a proper welcome when it came to our choice of dishes. After the second course, the waiters didn't ask for coffee or liqueur, or for the dessert menu. There were no polite remarks at the cash register (such as "Is everything okay?"). The appetizer was bruschetta with cherry tomatoes (very cold, straight from the fridge). The first courses were very good (pasta with pistachio pesto and pasta with seafood). The second course, the mixed grill of horse meat, only had the horse meatball. The steak wasn't horse (and when we raised objections to the waiter, he assured us otherwise). But the taste and color, and above all, the same dish on another table, spoke volumes. A place with great attention to detail, but only because of the location.

24/12/2025: Without a doubt, the best takeout pizzeria in Acireale. Always on time, the pizzas are superb, topped with top-quality ingredients and delicious dough.

03/11/2025: Excellent home delivery service. As a long-time customer of this pizzeria, I can confirm that the pizzas arrive on time. The pizzas are very good. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

12/08/2025: The best Sicilian breakfast in the area. Warm, fluffy homemade croissants, accompanied by delicious granitas. The place is beautifully presented and well-maintained. The coffee is excellent, too!

16/08/2025: This evening we were looking for a cheap place for dinner. After days of stuffing ourselves with fish, caponata, and parmigiana while walking, we stopped here. We ate on the terrace, and since it had rained during the day, we had a really good time. I hadn't eaten a hamburger in ages, so I ordered the Hamburger King. Truly royal. I could say the same for the first course and chicken salad. Very generous portions and fair prices. The service was kind and attentive. I think most of the customers were locals because you could tell they were "at home."

08/11/2025: Excellent pizzeria just steps from the center of Acireale. The pizza is truly excellent, with fresh ingredients and generous portions. The place isn't big, so you need to book in advance, but it's definitely worth it. Alternatively, they also offer takeout or home delivery. They accept electronic payments; you may have to park nearby and walk there. Recommended. A+++

22/10/2025: I went to this pizzeria with a friend and I have to say I was really amazed. The pizza was super soft and full of flavor, one of the best I've ever had. The staff was very kind, friendly, and super nice. A place I'll definitely return to, excellent pizza and great people 🍕💯

22/10/2025: We went to the pizzeria to try their Luminaria pizza and were very pleased. The dough was soft yet very digestible, which was immediately noticeable. The mozzarella was just the right amount of stringy, making every bite enjoyable. Luminaria is a pizza with a bold character, well-seasoned without being overpowering, perfect if you love bold flavors. The staff deserves a special mention: they were extremely kind and helpful. They seated us even though we were in a hurry and allowed us to eat at our leisure. A positive experience in every way, I will definitely return when I'm in the area. I recommend it to anyone looking for a tasty pizza with attentive service.

From the moment our order arrived, it was clear this was a different calibre of delivery. The packaging was robust and designed to retain heat impeccably. Upon opening the box, we were met with the sight of a perfectly cooked pizza—a golden, crisp crust that held its structure, adorned with beautifully melted cheese and fresh, vibrant toppings. The first bite confirmed our initial impression. The crust was a masterpiece in itself: blistered from a proper oven, offering a delightful chewy texture with a subtle char, and crucially, it remained crisp despite the journey. 02/11/2025: Nothing that would entice me to return. I was hoping it wasn't a touristy place, but other than the beautiful setting, everything was adequate. I don't know if there's anything better in Castiglione, but I wouldn't return here.

08/05/2026: Last night I had the pleasure of dining with my family and two friends at this restaurant. You can choose from the à la carte menu or the set menu, choosing between appetizers with two first courses, appetizers with two second courses, or a full menu. The appetizers were truly generous, both raw fish and hot dishes. The quality of the fish is truly excellent, everything is incredibly fresh and paired in original and delicious ways. The seafood pasta was exquisite, as was the mixed grill. Excellent value. The menu includes a cover charge, wine, soft drinks, and sorbet. We'll definitely be back!

19/04/2026: We stumbled upon this place by chance and were pleasantly surprised by the kindness and friendliness of the staff and the excellent local dishes. An experience worth repeating! The squid ink spaghetti was top notch!
