Very polite waitresses, good service.
Excellent food, tasty, with something "homemade" in a positive sense, balanced.
Despite the generous portions, you don't wake up weighed down and digestion is peaceful.

14/06/2024: Unfortunately it is no longer the great China it once was. The place has remained the same, as if time had stopped. The girls are wonderful, smiling and welcoming but the flavors have changed.

30/08/2024: We ended up in the square of Calatabiano by chance after dinner and were welcomed by the owners of the coffee maker as if we were at home and this pushed us to return as many times as we could during our holiday, the passion and care with which the they manage can be enjoyed in all the products we tasted. If you pass through the area and want a coffee, a granita and a brioche or anything else, stop by, you will be in good company.
28/08/2024: When I have to enjoy an excellent granita this is my point of reference.
Wide variety of flavors, all excellent.
I recommend the strawberry, almond and mulberry.
The cream is always fresh and artisanal.
Naturally brioches with tuppo.
Highly recommended.

25/08/2024: Avevamo il piacere di provare questo bar, esternamente prometteva bene anche se abbiamo trovato i bagni molto sporchi già in mattinata.
Il banconista persona gentile e a modo, pure molto gentile la ragazza che serviva la tavola calda e colazione.
Non si può dire lo stesso della signora che serviva le granite, purtroppo un modo di fare indisponente, non aveva la pazienza di interloquire in maniera garbata con i clienti.
Toni poco cordiali, istigava la gente a lasciare il locale, anche dopo aver fatto lo scontrino.
Purtroppo ho visto dei clienti lamentarsi e andarsene a causa di questa persona che si comporta così e trattava la clientela, in maniera vergognosa e indecorosa.
Mi chiedo:"sarà proprietaria"?
Non può comunque permettersi!
È dipendente? Cambia mestiere.

20/08/2024: Family-run pastry bar. A little outside the centre, which is why it is also frequented by locals. Best granitas and almond paste I've ever eaten, and I've been to Sicily 4 times.
I returned after a few years and the quality remained excellent. Sometimes ancient tastes without trying all the costs for sometimes curious combinations. It's fine for there to be innovation and contamination but it's equally fine for something to remain original. The latter is our case.

21/07/2024: Decent quality, but high prices, disproportionate to the place. I ordered a simple granita and brioche, expecting a cost in line with the location of the bar - a hamlet of a town with no particular tourist attraction. To my surprise, the price was comparable to what I would have paid in a popular square in the center of a large city, such as the Cathedral of Catania.
17/07/2024: Granita di gelsi superlativa e babà spettacolare. Tutto comunque sopra la media! Una lunga tradizione di famiglia che viene orgogliosamente tramandata di generazione in generazione.

09/08/2024: They served one of the second courses ordered during the appetizers and brought a fish soup passed off as peppered with mussels. It wasn't the seaside location I remembered, but a place belonging to another management right across the street. Last but not least, the receipt was indecipherable without the detail of each individual dish. Truly embarrassing price, we won't be returning again.
02/08/2024: Everything top. From the quality of the fish which is really fresh, tasty, to the kind staff. As soon as you enter you immediately feel pampered by everyone. The guys are really too kind, making you sit down and always pouring a drink as they pass by. Seafood appetizer with sea urchins, oysters, cockles, shrimp. From the sea urchins in particular you could smell the sea and the prawns were a real pleasure for the palate, I would have taken tons of them. The mixed fried fish and seafood pasta are also excellent. The owners are also very kind. People who really care about their work. I will definitely return
