25/07/2025: I visited this restaurant for an event and, overall, I had a good meal. The food was good and well-served, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout the evening. The only negative was the *complete lack of air conditioning*: it was really hot, and this affected the overall experience. It's a shame, because with better air conditioning, everything would have been perfect. I hope it gets fixed, because the place has potential.

02/07/2025: Interestingly located hotel, on the slope of Etna. Rooms are a bit out of date, they would require a facelift, but clean. Friendly service.

18/06/2025: After traveling the whole of Sicily over two weeks, my wife and I finished off our stay in the quiet town of Zafferana Etna near Catania, and easy access to the airport. After the crowds and chaos of Taormina, Cefalu, Ortigia and Palermo, our stay at the Hotel Primavera was wonderfully calm. The location on the eastern slope of Etna gave us an amazing view of the Ionian Sea. The staff was wonderful and attended to our every need, even packing us to-go meals as we missed breakfast because of an early flight! And the hotel restaurant was a gem, with outstanding meals each night we dined. I highly recommend a stay at the Hotel Primavera Dell'Etna. Not only is it easy on the wallet (look for online booking deals!) but the views and food made the stay memorable. Goditi il ​​tuo soggiorno!

24/07/2025: Our stay at Tenuta San Michele was a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing experience. After days of exploring the surrounding area, a dip in the well-maintained pool was just the thing to unwind and recharge. The atmosphere at the winery was warm and authentic. The staff and owners welcomed us with genuine hospitality, openness, and a remarkable warmth that made our stay truly special. The in-house restaurant was also a highlight: There, you can expect not only a delicious selection of authentic Sicilian cuisine, but also excellent wines directly from the estate, all at fair prices.

22/07/2025: A brief but terrible experience. We went in and asked for a table for two, but it was all empty, and yet we waited to be seated. Looking at the menu, I realized there was nothing meatless. We stood up, were asked if everything was okay, and I politely replied, "There's nothing vegetarian." The waiter gave me a nasty look. Especially for that look, I'm giving a bad review. It's unacceptable in the restaurant industry to treat customers like that.

22/07/2025: Bar Amoroso is excellent, absolutely recommended, and the best in the area. I recommend trying the ricotta-filled baked ravioli, which are excellent but cost €2.00 each. I think the price is a bit high. They should make them a little larger, and the cost would be justified. The staff is friendly and helpful. Free parking in the area.

15/06/2025: Very nice place! 😉 Outside with greenery, very relaxing... and inside rustic. As soon as you sit down they serve a glass of sparkling wine as a welcome! Varied menu... We chose pizza... Good! Definitely to return. 👍

Wonderful dishes, meticulously prepared, and a Messina-style meat dish that to call "extraordinary" is an understatement: the best I've ever eaten. We started with fragrant and irresistible croquettes, accompanied by a glass of full-bodied, enveloping Nero d'Avola. And to finish on a high note, a deconstructed cannoli that was pure poetry for the palate: a delight to savor until the last bite. All for just €70 for two: an experience worth every penny.
