08/09/2025: A reception venue for ceremonies, from birthdays to weddings. Located in the open countryside, it offers large open spaces and a reception hall. Guests can also stay in their rooms. It also features a spa currently under construction. The owners are wonderful, incredibly kind, and attentive to every detail to ensure every ceremony is flawless.

20/08/2025: My husband and I are very happy we chose this venue for our wedding. From our first meeting, we received a warm welcome, along with kindness, extreme professionalism, and cordiality. Mrs. Marzia looked after us from the first moment until our goodbyes at the end of the celebration. In addition to the beauty and undeniable attention to detail, we appreciated the responsiveness to our every request and the very functional and effective solutions. The variety of spaces available to welcome guests makes the whole experience very interesting and enjoyable. We also received many compliments on the quality of the food. Thanks again to all the staff, and in particular, in addition to the aforementioned Mrs. Marzia, to chef Gianluca Lizzio and maître d' Riccardo, a discreet yet essential presence throughout the day.

11/08/2025: We chose the Gardens of Villa Fago as our wedding venue, and I think we couldn't have made a better choice. It's easily accessible from the Giarre motorway exit. Nature and style combine perfectly. You'll fall in love with the English gardens on the slopes of Mount Etna; it's like returning to the fashion of the Grand Tour. We received tons of compliments; everything went perfectly, and we made a wonderful impression. The civil ceremony took place on Viale dei Tigli, and we enjoyed a delightfully romantic atmosphere. Despite the event taking place in the middle of August, we didn't suffer from the heat at all. The food was excellent; our guests enjoyed a varied and abundant buffet, a delicious and delicate dinner, and an equally satisfying dessert buffet. Choose GFV because the interior rooms are splendid and equally welcoming, even in winter and on rainy days. The gardens are always immaculately kept; I went there several times in the months leading up to the event and never found a blade of grass out of place. We can't say enough good things about the staff. Stefania guided us through every detail and coordinated the staff and all our suppliers flawlessly. Maître d' Riccardo was with us on the day of the event and took great care of all our guests with special needs, especially the older ones. It was a moving event and was such a success because they helped us organize it flawlessly. Thanks to them, we'll have wonderful memories that will last a lifetime. Go visit them.

04/09/2025: Very nice place, very good pizza. The only downside is €3 cover charge.

30/08/2025: We decided to try this place somewhat randomly. We arrived on a Wednesday and it was really crowded, but we were able to get seated fairly quickly. We ordered two cocktails, a fritto misto, and two pizzas. The fritto misto arrived in less than a minute despite all the confusion, which was already a bit strange... unfortunately, it was cold and rubbery, not good at all. Furthermore, inside there were pieces that looked like raw carrots, tasteless. Another annoying thing: the cocktails arrived only after we'd finished the fritto misto, and only because I asked for them twice. It wasn't very pleasant. To make up for it, they brought us another mini fritto misto, but it was once again inedible. We had two mojitos, but they were missing a key ingredient—cane sugar—so we didn't like those either. The pizzas weren't what I expected: it's hard to say what was wrong, but both the ingredients and the tomato were poor quality. In the end, we paid €62.50, without any discount despite all the mix-ups (not even €0.50). Oh well 😂 The only positive note: the waiters were really kind. The owners, on the other hand, seemed rather arrogant. I wouldn't recommend it, and I honestly don't understand all the fuss.

25/08/2025: One of the worst pizzas I’ve ever had (look at the photos). I am a pizza enthusiast, wherever I go, I take time to visit the best pizzerias in town. I have leant to appreciate all styles, napolitana, all taglio/romana, NY, etc. Unfortunately, yesterday’s pizza was one of the worst. The place was charming with a lot of character, but the execution was poor. Watery (and misty) tomato sauce, almost unnoticeable cheese, no basil (it was a margarita pizza) and the dough did not lift in the oven. I don’t think the owners took us seriously for being tourists.
