23/09/2025: Can’t say enough good about this restaurant. I’ve been in Sicily for 12 days. Have had meals of all sorts — “nicer” ones, more casual, etc. so far most of my favorite food has come from chill little spots run by one or two people…but Andrea just salvaged the “nice” bucket. You can tell the team has experience, and found their voice a long time ago. You can’t fake a connection — if it’s there it’s there. Perfect meal. I just canceled my dinner reservations for tomorrow because I have to end my trip on that.

26/08/2025: We discovered this sandwich shop via Google Maps and it was a delightful surprise. It's a small, family-run place, run by two brothers, offering sandwiches and hearty meat and fish dishes (from fried calamari to swordfish), with the option of adding a wide variety of side dishes. My boyfriend and I were truly impressed: everything was delicious, so much so that I, who usually don't particularly like meat, found it delicious. We ordered three sandwiches plus the pancetta wrapped in spring onion, and every bite was a discovery. The service was impeccable: both the girl at the counter and the owners often came to check if everything was to our liking, always with a smile and great kindness. The prices are more than fair: we ate a lot, drinks included, for only 30 euros. Highly recommended for those who want to try something authentic, genuine, and away from the usual tourist spots in Ortigia. Our only hope is that it stays this way, without losing the quality and family atmosphere that distinguishes it.

26/10/2025: I was eating there with my friend and the food was very delicious. Going to eat there is really nice, the ambiance was mega nice and the food in the normal price range, not too expensive, just right.

11/08/2025: Spotlessly clean, the brioche and gelato were superb. The Sicilian Gold flavor stole my heart! The 70% chocolate was also delicious, and the cream was fresh and delicate. Top notch, highly recommended!

26/08/2025: It has the merit of being open every day. The town hall would benefit from providing them with a larger space. The toilets are both wet and covered in flour. The bouncer dog provides good security, but be careful with your phone. A meeting place at any time.

16/10/2025: Definitely eat here! Don't be put off by the first impression outside. The interior is also very simply designed, but it's an old cinema that has NOT been extensively renovated... The pizza (Diavolo with extra mushrooms) was truly as perfect as others have described. The risotto with zucchini and prawns was al dente, delicious, and a large portion... A chilled (!) glass would be served with the beer... Very friendly staff, many greetings to Laura and the great maestro in the oven. So, highest praise! Best regards, Harald

09/09/2025: We had a great time at Baglio Ciachea! We visited for dinner as a family of six, the place is just gorgeous and super chill. The menu was vast and many options were available. We tried several pasta dishes and different appetizers - food was great and service was also really good. Would recommend if you are staying in the area of Capaci!

01/03/2025: Compartí con nuestros amigos que la comida fue la mejor comida italiana que he tenido en 5 años. Empecé con el calamar relleno de bacalao ahumado. Mi pasta era un hongo fetichínico con bacalao y mejillones y un lado de radicchio a la parrilla. Terminé con un tiramisú del desierto. Mi esposa y amigos también tenían comida deliciosa. La carta de vinos y licores es estelar. El servicio y el ambiente impresionante. Pero la comida era excepcional. No recuerdo tanta atención a los detalles. El menú fue creado por alguien que entiende de comida y sabores. Estamos aquí por unas semanas. Volveremos muchas veces. Mucha alegría.

27/02/2025: Un hermoso restaurante en un edificio abovedado muy atmosférico justo en el centro de esta increíble ciudad barroca. Servicio muy profesional con una excelente bodega. Deliciosos y bien presentados platos. Nos gustó especialmente la pasta y el besugo.

25/08/2025: We went for the aperitif dinner, and I have to say everything was impeccable, from the food to the service. The platter costs €10 per person, while the aperitif of your choice is paid separately. The three of us paid €45 (3 platters, 1 bottle of water, and 2 spritzes). The location for parking is also excellent.

22/09/2025: Grazie per tutti Gabriele and team. I rocked up a little.lost after days at sea and an unexpected disembarkement. I was brought to this lovely hotel and restaurant by a helpful and friendly delivery driver who found me stranded with no phone data, Italian language or Euros! :) Its been my home for 4 days and they have been so helpful. Looked after me, helped me.woth immigration technicalities, driven me places and printed off tickets for onward travel im case my phone runs out on my long, and somewhat uncertain journey ahead. Aswell as all that, beautifully located and delicious food and drink. 🙏🦪
