09/11/2025: We happened upon this place by chance, and were intrigued by its simplicity and the fresh food counter. We had grilled calamari and breaded prawns, excellent! They were available to take away, but we made do with it and ate them on the spot, along with a tasty first course, accompanied by kindness and friendliness.
28/10/2025: Courtesy and professionalism. The perfect place for those who don't have time to cook...you can pick up and take home a new dish every day. And what about the always fresh sea urchin pulp? Delicious!

19/07/2025: One of the best experiences we had during our road trip in Sicily. We ended up in this restaurant unexpectedly, but we were very happy that our steps led us here. The owners were delightful, kind people, the food was fantastic and the view on the terrace with absolutely stunning sunset was out of this world. We thoroughly enjoyed our time spent there and we'll certainly come back again at some point. :) Thank you!
28/05/2025: Returning to the "Rosa dei venti" is now a ritual when we are in those parts. Excellent restaurant and exquisite pizzeria, in a fairytale setting. Personally, I love the landscapes, and every time, Davide obliges us to choose a table facing the sea. We hope to return soon, perhaps, this summer.

26/09/2025: I found this place online while visiting Sicily from the US. The bartender spoke decent English and was very friendly. The pizza and beer were very good. The prices were reasonable. It appears to be a local neighborhood restaurant that welcomes outsiders. It has a nice, friendly vibe. 🍕🍺

08/11/2025: This restaurant offers traditional Trapani cuisine, primarily seafood. Fresh, high-quality ingredients are prepared in a traditional, no-frills manner. Definitely not for those looking for showy plating.
27/10/2025: Closed through the end of November. Don’t want to give a bad review but save yourself a trip. Our host said it was very tasty, so we will have to try it next time.

The couscous, the busiate pasta with
Trapanese pesto, the tagliolini with squid ink, and the desserts are excellent.
22/10/2025: His Majesty the fish, elevated to the highest level of delicacy with respect and mastery. The ricotta ravioli, cooked and served in a sublime fish broth, the couscous delicious, and the grilled swordfish, without any additives, was simply amazing. The service was excellent and highly recommended.

We were served quickly and the pizzas were very good.
The salad as an appetizer: a choice of 5 ingredients is a great idea.
I recommend it if you want to avoid the touristy restaurants.
25/09/2025: An out of the way pizzeria run by two very friendly and nice elderly men. The pizzeria was cute, comfy, and clean. The pizza was nice and had slightly more cheese than other pizzas.
Be aware that you are charged five Euros for using the glasses (or cutlery?) on top of your regular bill (i.e. if you drink from the bottle, it will be cheaper?).

29/11/2025: We waited ten minutes at nine o'clock at night, with no one else to serve us, for three mediocre cannolis. The price for three cannolis was outrageous: €15, just for a truly questionable plating.

23/11/2025: Great little bar with a charming atmosphere and affordable prices. It’s located next to the Church of St. Ignatius, which adds a truly Italian charm. The barman was friendly and welcoming. We stopped here for a glass of Aperol almost every night during our visit to Palermo. Definitely worth a visit!

The food is the real highlight: as a Messina native, I recognize the quality and freshness of the ingredients, all perfectly balanced in a varied and original menu. The kindness of the owners, who welcome you with a smile and great professionalism, completes the picture. I highly recommend it!

This place is located right in the market and serves absolutely incredible food — honestly, it was probably the most memorable meal of our entire trip. The service was friendly, and the vibe is that perfect mix of trendy, hipster, and local.
Everything was super clean, beautifully presented, and the food quality was outstanding. A big bravo to this spot — truly deserves all the praise! It was also recommended to us by Sicilians themselves, and now I understand exactly why.

Recommended by friends. Very nice when there's a local market with all the fish, vegetable, and fruit vendors.
It's a typical Sicilian restaurant with outdoor tables, the bar on one side, and the kitchen at the other.
We had calamari and prawns as a starter, followed by pasta with vongole and baby tomatoes.
Everything was very good and cooked perfectly. The wine was a lovely white.
Very reasonable prices.
