14/11/2025: Truly a horrible place!!! Rude staff Terrible food and insane prices for a 1:20 wait from ordering. They even tried to charge us for drinks that never arrived. I strongly advise against it!!!

13/11/2025: This place is really good. As travellers, we reached Palermo from a delayed flight and needed something quick and local. The sharing board was of a very high quality, and they served really good local wine. It was positioned next to our hotel, with a great atmosphere of locals enjoying life and a nice glass of wine. It is managed by a lovely lady and gentleman, and we were happy to make a return visit the next day for some more wine.

07/09/2025: I had a very pleasant experience at Ummara restaurant, which is definitely worth a visit for anyone passing through Scicli. The outdoor location offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere, yet is dimly lit, making it perfect for romantic evenings. The service was professional and attentive, although the pace could be improved during busy periods. The food, overall, was good. The anchovy crostoni were a pleasant surprise, as was the freshly baked bread with butter and cream, which added a unique touch to the dining experience. The quality of the ingredients is evident and showcased beautifully in every dish. The dishes, though sometimes simple, are prepared with great care, and the variety on the menu caters to different tastes and preferences. Dishes like the octopus ragù and spaghetti with amberjack ragù were truly well-prepared, rich in flavor, and very fresh. The wine selection was another highlight, with a good selection that included delicious local options like the SP68 Bianco Arianna, which proved to be an excellent accompaniment to the meal. Although the price may seem high to some, considering the quality and atmosphere of the restaurant, I find the experience well-justified. Ummara is a restaurant that offers a good combination of quality, service, and ambiance, and I highly recommend trying it for a pleasant and relaxing dinner.

30/11/2025: A lovely little restaurant in a very rustic setting. It offers a nod to South Tyrolean menus, featuring meats like pork shanks. There are also many seafood and traditional Sicilian dishes. The linguine alla norma is excellent, and the linguine with red mullet is truly superb.

17/11/2025: Unfortunately, the restaurant doesn't keep its website up to date. When we wanted to go, there was a note on the door saying they were on vacation. It's already difficult enough to find a restaurant that's still open in October. A few days later, we finally managed to get in. We enjoyed the pizza we ordered, especially because it didn't have salicia on it, like so many others. I don't like the taste of that sausage.

27/11/2025: Welcoming and bright, in the heart of the city. The meat is good, but especially the pizza dough is crispy and light. The desserts are also delicious. The menu is worth trying, with lots of appetizers, especially if you're with a large group, plus desserts and drinks.

12/09/2025: This is a great bar/cafe and must be one of the best in Mussomeli. It can be a busy place sometimes but the staff are very hard working, friendly and efficient. It’s a great place to eat and to have a drink - ask for the menu, you won’t be disappointed. It’s worth visiting for the ice cream alone, a cracking selection and amazing value. Owner Federico is a credit to Sicilian and Mussomeli warmth and hospitality.

21/08/2025: This place was great ! Incredible view overlooking the mountains on Sicily. The staff was very friendly, and even spoke a little English (very helpful for us American). The food was unreal. Burger was 10/10 (and we’re American !). The pizza was also unreal. The dough. The sauce. Everything. Highly recommend and will be going back

25/11/2025: I highly recommend this specialist ceramics shop (Il Rustico Ceramiche Caltagirone). I am a Sicilian restaurateur living in Belgium. I recently ordered 40 plates with different decorations. The owners are very friendly and the staff are professional, so the result was fantastic. Despite the distance and all the different decorations, the work was completed quickly. In previous years, I have bought several ceramics from other shops in Caltagirone, but I can guarantee that Rustico Ceramiche Caltagirone, in my opinion, is the best in terms of quality, price, and reliability. Thank you for everything.

28/11/2025: A very disappointing experience. First, we waited 25 minutes for a waiter to deign to take our order. Then, another 35-minute wait for our simple pasta dishes. While not bad, it wasn't worth waiting an hour to be served. Meanwhile, the table next to us (Italians) was served much more quickly, with friendly staff. No sooner had we put down our cutlery than the waiter rushed over, taking our plates without a word. We were hoping to order dessert, but after another 20-minute wait, no one came to offer us the menu or coffee. So we went to the counter to pay: not a word, not a thank you, just the bill. Judging from previous reviews, if you're not Italian, you'll be ignored. This doesn't reflect the image of the many restaurants in Sicily that we enjoyed during our stay here. Perhaps this is one-sided proof of this Franco-Italian ferocity? Regards
