24/05/2025: Stopped in for a quick bite after a walk in Taormina. The service was great lovely waitress. It’s on a busy corner so people watching is great. The food was good as were the pastries and coffee. Good spot to stop

23/05/2025: I visited this café as a tourist speaking NO Italian, (only Si, Grazi, and Por Favore) and was treated very kindly and welcomingly by the barista who helped me find the pastry I wanted and made me a beautiful cappuccino!

04/08/2025: I've been coming to this pizzeria for years. The pizza is truly excellent, with fresh, quality ingredients. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I recommend it!!!

04/08/2025: Yesterday for lunch, two of us chose just one first course: Linguine allo scoglio, and we expected to enjoy a good first course, given the price (€18). We waited about an hour for our linguine to arrive at the table...what can I say, it seemed like a joke (not to mention a scam!). The pasta was horrible: undercooked, dry, and the seafood was left in the sea! We paid about €50, including service charge and water...because at least we are honest people!

08/09/2025: Fresh fish! Eight of us were here and had such a great meal! Thanks to the team. We'll definitely be back.

08/09/2025: It would be better not to! This is the response I received from a girl working inside the bar after asking her to open her umbrella because her table was in the sun and was the only one available. Also pointing out that all the other umbrellas were open... Really rude staff.

20/07/2025: Unfortunately, our experience wasn't the best. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff was courteous, but the food didn't quite meet our expectations. We struggled to swallow the Mexican dish, and the next day... let's just say our stomachs definitely had something to complain about. It's a shame, we expected better. We hope for a future improvement.

21/05/2025: We were pleasantly surprised by "Il Pappamondo", a truly exceptional discovery! We tried the pizza and it was simply perfect: light, incredibly digestible and with an exquisite flavor. We can't wait to return to try the other specialties and complete our gastronomic experience.

31/08/2025: Plus they tell me "you can't sit there, they're from A..." And I work with them! Rude! Who do they take me for? C! I get a little bottle of water for two euros! Two minutes later my colleague comes in for 1.30 the same little bottle!

25/08/2025: We had ice cream. My partner found a hair in it and showed it to the staff. They simply threw the cup in the trash. No refund, nor a new ice cream. Really, really bad, and kind of a disgrace.

16/08/2025: Even though the place wasn't busy, we waited over an hour for our pizzas. Furthermore, when they arrived, they were already cold. I recommend improving the service. It's unfortunate that we paid 25% more for a service on the floor, only to have it be so poor.

15/08/2025: Embarrassing management of the place. They're lucky that there are no other alternatives in Alcamo Marina, so the workload must necessarily be concentrated on them, but here, total disorganization reigns. To make money, they take 300 pizza orders in 2 hours and fail to meet customer needs and schedules. Pizzas ordered for 7:45 PM were delivered at 9:00 PM! Furthermore, a gluten-free pizza was missing because the owner, instead of adding it to our order—which was difficult to find among 300 others (guess what!)—marked it as a new order. When it came time to pick up the pizzas, it was missing, leaving one of us without food. They didn't even make it easy for us by making it right away, but instead made us wait an hour for it!!! Poor customer service, embarrassing service. It would all have to be done again.

27/07/2025: It took an hour and a half to deliver two pizzas to a table of two people. There was a large table there. They did a second round and we were still waiting.

15/07/2025: Really good pizza, with a variety of shapes to choose from. Wide selection of flavors. Recommended.

27/08/2025: I've been a customer for years now. When I have friends over for dinner, they all ask for their pizza. A tip: book a little in advance on Saturdays and Sundays because they're busier and you might have to wait a bit.

04/09/2025: The pizza was good and the staff were very friendly. A great experience. The only drawback is accessibility; it's difficult to navigate the restaurant with a stroller or wheelchair. The bathrooms could use some work. The prices are high, starting at €20 for a pizza and a drink.

03/09/2025: The pizza was delicious! You can choose a meal. The Prosit (like prosecco) is delicious! Everything is high-quality. The people who work there are very kind and helpful!

13/07/2025: Tonight we're having brioche granitas. It's not our first time there, and we've usually had a great time, even for important events. But tonight (and I can confirm this has been true for a few weeks now), they sold us the brioche that was at least a few days old, reheated, dry underneath, and stringy, as they say here in Catania. The granita had no discernible flavors other than a stale taste.

31/07/2025: Historic delicatessen. As a kid, I always went there to buy roast chicken. The people are incredibly friendly and kind. You can also eat at the table; there's a huge variety.

28/07/2025: questa sera giorno 28 luglio ho mangiato in questa trattoria, dove si mangia del buon pesce fresco, il personale molto cordiale e simpatico, la cameriera molto gentile, a consigliarci dei posti da visitare, del cibo da mangiare… che dire,lei è stata molto disponibile alle nostre richieste e soprattutto sorridente, ci ritornerò di sicuro il prossimo anno, consiglio questo posto a tuttiii
