10/08/2025: DEPLORABLE service and SCAMMERS!!!! Unfriendly and contemptuous waiters, VERY UNPLEASANT, and disorganized, never the same one who came to our table, they did not follow the order of the dishes at all that we had to wait an eternity for some… and not in the right order… It was as if they were doing it on purpose… real filth to be polite!!!!!! Beware to start with, when you arrive, they automatically put a bottle of water on the table, without you having asked for it, and which you are charged of course and at full price, very very average food, even NOT GOOD for some dishes!!! Some dishes too too salty almost inedible, risotto which was not a risotto… but a vulgar rice soup, and to top it all off, rip-off on the bill… beware because they are very cunning, they deliberately do not understand you when you ask them for details on the menu (which is incomprehensible), to then bring you anything on the table and charge you a fortune for it!!!! We ordered a Frito Misto (indicated 15€ on the menu), they brought us three plates, and in the end on the bill, we ended up with 32 euros for the fritto-misto theoretically at 15.00€. But then to finish, we had just asked for information on "fruits" without any other details which were offered as Dessert, without it being indicated how they were served or prepared... we ended up with a plate of tasteless sliced fruit, without any taste, water... charged €20 per plate... when we just wanted information. They pretended not to understand what we were asking them, and 15 minutes later, we found ourselves with this plate which we had to pay for afterwards of course, when we hadn't asked for it... In short, scammers!!!! Never again!!! RUN AWAY!!! I WONDER HOW THESE PEOPLE MANAGE TO LOOK AT THEMSELVES IN A MIRROR IN THE MORNING, WELCOME TOURISTS, CUSTOMERS IN THIS WAY, IT JUST RUINS THE IMAGE OF THEIR COUNTRY!!!

23/07/2025: We booked at the last minute and were blown away by the beauty of this place. Very well-maintained, with dishes to share and a wide variety of choices. The octopus was butter. The staff was knowledgeable and attentive to every need. An evening we will remember.

20/06/2025: The place is very nice, it seems clean, although there was no water in the bathroom. I paid 4 euros for a brioche with ice cream; I found it expensive. I will not return.

12/07/2025: A lovely restaurant with friendly staff and great food in a quiet location just down some steps from the main street. The baccala was really good! We will return.

11/07/2025: Abbiamo prenotato la cena è una volta arrivati il locale era chiuso! Che inseriscano gli orari/date dettagliate. Ovviamente è stato un vero disagio poi trovare altro posto dove mangiare alle 20:30 di sera.

11/05/2025: I feel like writing an opinion that considers everything: as far as the aesthetics of the cake is concerned, it is nothing like the photo I sent, still pretty, but without beads, the writing practically illegible and the colors used completely different, when one of the main requests was precisely to stick to the color of the photo. As for the taste, the sponge was good, but I think the cream was vegetable, so not the best, especially for me in a red velvet there shouldn't be cream at all, but a butter cream. The structure of the cake was unstable, it tended towards one side, it was very difficult to cut as it all fell apart. For such a high price I expected more.

19/08/2025: The most interesting thing is the Argentinean cashier! Otherwise, it's a normal bar.

18/08/2025: We stopped for a quick lunch but ended up spending the entire afternoon waiting. Despite it not being peak time, we waited almost two hours from ordering just for the first course. I admit that the first courses were good, but the pasta alla norma was very, very al dente. After another hour, we finally received the second course and coffee, thus putting an end to this agony. It's worth noting that they had said coffee would be free, which obviously didn't happen. The quality/price ratio was remarkably good for the service and quality offered.

30/06/2025: Anyone who knew this place during the historic Centamore management knows exactly what I'm talking about: it was a point of reference for good food, hospitality and an authentic atmosphere. Today, unfortunately, absolutely nothing of all this remains. The new management has completely overturned the identity of the place and not for the better. Once upon a time, you came here with the certainty of finding quality, kindness, professionalism. Today you leave only with the feeling of having wasted time and money. The service is approximate, often improvised, with staff who seem more annoyed than happy to welcome you. The courtesy of the past has been replaced by arrogance and a total lack of organization. In recent times, the situation has worsened further: the place has transformed without warning into a sandwich shop, completely erasing any connection with real catering. But the even more serious thing is that they didn't even deign to inform those who had booked for events, banquets or ceremonies. Customers left disoriented, without respect, without a phone call, without anything. As for the food… better not get your hopes up. What is served today has nothing to do with the cuisine that once made this place special. Dishes without soul, without identity, without attention. It is an insult to the memory of what this place represented. Not even the most mediocre of establishments would have the courage to propose certain things. The problem is not only the decline in quality, but the attitude of those who now manage it: presumptuous, inattentive, incapable of listening. A place that was a symbol of hospitality has transformed into something empty, impersonal, and sadly forgettable. A word of advice? If you have good memories tied to this place, leave them where they are: don't ruin them by returning. The real Casalrosato no longer exists. And what is there now, frankly, does not even deserve the name.

29/08/2025: A must-try if you're on Favignana. Traditional recipes. I dined here every night of my vacation, always sampling different specialties. Excellent value.
