20/08/2025: During the holidays, I went to this deli to get a couple of sandwiches. After ordering (let me start by saying it was takeout and there was no one before me), I found myself waiting for about an hour because, in the meantime, those who ordered later were served first, with lots of hugs and kisses and discounts (they were paying ridiculous amounts, the first time I've seen two prices and two sizes). What can I say? If you don't know anyone, you get served badly and last. To say it's uncivilized is an understatement! I was shocked! Small numbers exist everywhere.

07/08/2025: We stopped here just by chance as we were driving past but got a great experience thanks to the staff. The food and venue were exactly as you'd hope for but the staff definitely deserved a 5 star review

16/06/2025: I'm not giving a star just because of the kindness of the people who work there and because the place is nice, but I drank one of the worst coffees of my life. It's better if they try them every now and then because it's not a nice experience. Was I unlucky?

28/08/2025: Went last night. 8 people. Seated at 9:30 PM. Focaccia (if you can call it that) arrived at 11 PM. So. Indescribable. Burnt, hard and soft in several parts. No cheese. And there were a lot of tables occupied. Hmm. I really don't understand...

28/06/2025: We went this evening with my wife. We ate very well, substantial appetizer and really good pizzas. A wonderful discovery, we will definitely be back. Compliments also to the friendly and helpful staff, and the bill is much lower than many other places that do not have the same quality

26/07/2025: Terrible experience. Very disappointed. After an hour and a half of waiting for a table without even a single pizza, we decided to leave. Meanwhile, dozens of takeout pizzas were coming out as usual, while seated customers were given no priority. I understand the busy times, but giving priority to takeout over seated customers is inexplicable and disrespectful. No communication from the staff, no apology, no solution offered. A real shame, because I had come with good expectations. I won't be returning.

I PROPRIETARI semplicemente MERAVIGLIOSI😀 GRAZIE per averci dato un punto di ristoro in cui la pausa pranzo diventa un momento di relax. Un locale molto accogliente e ben organizzato con servizio abbastanza veloce. Tutto questo lo trovi solo al Now Cafe Catania 😃

19/06/2025: A little expensive because 22 euros for two pizzas and a beer... But we have to say that it was very good despite being home delivered, just because the dough may have altered a little in the box. Punctual above all. Maybe we'll get it again very soon!

08/06/2025: We were staying for a week near this pizzeria, and we ordered a different takeaway pizza for each of the two evenings. On the first evening, we felt like something was missing, until we realized that the dough wasn't salty enough, or at least that's what they thought. We said we'd give it another try after a few days, and this time everything was fine, we all liked the crust and the toppings. Everything was good!

24/05/2025: This year we decided to celebrate May 1st at Baglio Elena, but in hindsight we would have done better to fast in a parking lot. Lunch was a fixed menu, which is to say a sentence decided in advance by someone who, evidently, hates Labor Day... and perhaps even the workers themselves. The appetizer arrived after an infinite wait, accompanied by dry bread and blank stares. The main course was discomfort. The first course, an unseasoned pasta dish that seemed to have been cooked by a robot on strike, started a sequence of sad flavors and dull colors. The second course? A meat that could have been anything: hard as marble, gray as the sky before the storm, and with a side of potatoes that seemed to cry. The staff? More confused than the traffic on the Palermo-Mazara highway. They looked at us as if we were the problem, with the dull smile of those who would rather be anywhere but there. The house wine tasted like "we forgot it in the cellar," and the water had more character than the rest of the meal. Baglio Elena, May 1, 2025: more than a party, an agony. A lunch that made us reevaluate picnics with sandwiches and salami.
