14/05/2025: I read the negative reviews and I am very sorry. I have often been to this place and I must say that it does not reflect reality. Very good food and pizza, very kind staff, good service, excellent entertainment. I go there often and will never miss an opportunity to bring friends and acquaintances. Thanks to all the staff.

18/07/2025: We only tried an excellent granita with brioche. The cream was excellent. The service was fairly quick. It would be nice to install some air conditioning in the covered building overlooking the street.

18/07/2025: We chose this restaurant/bar due to special needs, especially with my celiac son. It's really hard to find a well-equipped and, above all, well-prepared restaurant. There's always the fear of contamination. Fate brought us to this place, where we were welcomed by Laura, a very kind woman who took care of my son and, in fact, all of us. We ate wonderfully. The bar is also well-stocked with gluten-free products, a joy for us. We truly felt at home. Next time we're in the area, we'll definitely be back.

30/04/2025: Booked the table, to avoid queuing, excellent sandwiches, very full toppings and lots of choice, excellent horse meat, a flaw in the unheated room... for the rest, lots of kindness and courtesy..... horse meat will be tonight 🐎🐎🐎🐎 very soft and tasty....

07/08/2025: I was in Sicily for 10 days, and in the morning, the granita at Bar Dama was a must. Reading the reviews, I'm sad to hear about people who clashed with the owner, but everyone has a bad day. Of course, it must be said that the busier workload on weekends also makes managing certain things more difficult and stressful... But with patience and humility, I can't help but notice that the owner's smile and jokes were never lacking. Otherwise, the product is excellent. We'll see you again soon. Best regards. I highly recommend it.

06/08/2025: The granita is good, but there's no table service. You have to get it at the counter and bring the glasses back at the end.

23/08/2025: The hotel is dated but has a beautiful view. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. The showers need some work!

16/07/2025: We stayed one night at Torre Bennistra and we were so glad that it was only for one night. The hotel is long overdue for a renovation. The room has very old furniture and barely any amenities. The AC didn’t work well. The only good thing about the hotel was the sea view. We didn’t have breakfast so I cannot say anything about it. The hotel staff was friendly, though and it is near to all the bars and restaurants.

27/05/2025: Very good pizzas with top quality ingredients, elegant room and impeccable service. Upon reservation we ate a paella worthy of Catalonia.

18/06/2025: A hidden gem in the city! Bonù is a truly special spot with unique touches in every corner. The atmosphere is warm and tastefully designed, with stylish decor that gives the place a distinct character. We sat outside and enjoyed an aperol in the charming outdoor seating area. The combination of the bar itself, the street, and the surrounding square created a very pleasant and refreshing environment—quite different from the rest of the city. The music was also great and added to the overall vibe. I would definitely recommend this place to any traveler looking for something different and memorable.

07/07/2025: Good appetizers and good sandwiches, the only flaw was the pizzas but not for the dough or the cooking, but rather for the sauce that was unseasoned, in a few words out of the can and put on the pizza and the lady (I assume the owner) insisted that it could not be unseasoned, I do not understand why not admit the mistake? Nevertheless she was ready to make us do something else but by then it was too late and we gave up.

29/08/2025: A good place for a break, with a great gazebo and tables for a bite to eat. Prices are exorbitant, like at all service stations. The restrooms are clean.

19/08/2025: The parking lot is not very big, everything is clean and tidy. But there is no shower, and it is impossible to get water. Please, owner, pay attention to this! There is water even for dogs, and the driver in such heat has no opportunity to take a shower or at least get water!

25/07/2025: Non era la più ricca ho provato, ma mi è piaciuto molto l"atmosfera e la posizione, in una piazza nel centro di Siracusa, vicino alla Cattedrale, e una terrazza molto bella. Hanno piatti siciliani tipici (pasta e pesce). Per dessert, ho preso il Canolo, tipico dolce siciliano quel giorno servito con pezzi di pistacchio. Ottimo!

25/07/2025: Cannuoli siciliani buonissimi, ripieni di ricotta e pistacchio o ricotta e cioccolato.
