It's the first time I've been there and for three chicken and Swiss sandwiches + a tray with two chicken skewers and Russian salad I paid €34.50 (Valdostane)....at my sandwich shop, which was closed today, for the same things I paid €22....the food was not satisfactory for the price asked...

The first place we go when we arrive in Sicily... and it's been that way since I was a child. The sandwiches are so delicious, the quality is excellent, and the atmosphere is authentic... please don't change a thing!

28/09/2025: Three of us had a most wonderful experience here today. My wife and were visiting from the UK and a local friend took us here for lunch. The food was truly outstanding. We had a collection of dishes and each was exquisite. Wonderful tuna and bream. Outstanding vegetables, breads and deserts. The service was friendly and helpful. If I lived in Syracuse I would eat here regularly. We then visited Ortigia and it is now the evening and we feel we don't need to eat till tomorrow!
23/08/2025: I was disappointed with the ice cream sundae. I ordered chocolate and ricotta ice cream with cream; there was a lot of cream and not enough ice cream, and you can tell from the photo. I'm also disappointed because we've been customers for several years and I'd never had ice cream sundae.
