17/09/2025: Fast but inefficient service. Terrible poke (there was no raw salmon/tuna) with frozen shrimp, brown avocado, and tasteless wakame. The Japanese mayo was actually regular mayo. The rice was soggy. Other quality products, but the poke was inedible.

20/10/2025: I went to lunch with five friends. We had high expectations since it had been recommended to us, but we immediately noticed the tomato-stained tablecloth from the previous service. We asked for a change, and they did, justifying themselves by saying that our colleague had had lunch shortly before; an apology and a change with a smile would have been enough. We ordered our dishes, repeatedly specifying that we wouldn't like pepper on our dishes since two of our friends don't eat it for health reasons. The waiter assured us they wouldn't add it. The three appetizers were full of pepper. We then politely asked again to leave the pepper out and bring it on the side, but one of the two main courses was again full of pepper. They replied that's how they prepare them. We don't recommend the octopus salad because it was quite tough. The grilled catch of the day, however, was good. In the end, they didn't even give us a small discount or offer us a coffee or liqueur. The bill was €32 each, including a liter of house wine.

18/10/2025: Delicious, fresh grilled fish, albeit carelessly served. Grumpy service. And €3 for a limoncello.

24/08/2025: Everything was perfect, the pizza was excellent and supreme....the pizza chef was an artist, I would say...well done, well done....a sure thing for anyone looking for excellent quality food in a romantic and ancient location.

19/09/2025: Delightful gelato and even better coffee, one of the best places of this category in Palermo. The staff was really kind and understanding and one of the waiters spoke fluent English. Prices are very difficult to find, but they're not too bad

The pastries look and taste great There is a large selection of freshly baked treats, pastries and cakes There are a few small tables where you can sit, we had a coffee there and a selection of freshly baked pastries. It was a busy spot with a constant stream of customers coming in. The staff were really friendly and helpful Probably best to get there early and avoid the rush. Would definitely go back there, if ever in Sicily again

16/10/2025: Good afternoon! I'm from Rosario, Argentina. I visited this ice cream shop and it caught my attention! My first time in Italy was in Palermo, and this is where the magic began... First of all, Alessio, he's a genius! We laughed a lot even though we didn't understand each other. I wanted to try the real Sicilian Cannoli, even though I came away with a very full stomach, hahaha 😝... it was THE best Cannoli I've ever tried!!! There were others after that, but I'd rather stick with this one!!! Without a doubt! And then... Alessio offered me and my girlfriend the pistachio ice cream... top 🔝 I still remember it!!! Thank you, Alessio, my brother!!! We'll always come back! Big hug, ALEX ❤️

05/11/2025: Terrible experience, poor quality food at overpriced prices, the lady at the cashier was truly ignorant and rude (and I'm not the only one who thought so)... there are many reviews that prove it, at least this morning I did a little charity for you! You should thank the magnificent sea that you can see, otherwise you would have been closed a long time ago! 😅

05/11/2025: A terrible experience for a terrible bar. We decided to have breakfast here, ordering two cappuccinos and two croissants for a total of €8. I asked the cashier in a serious and friendly tone if there was a croissant+cappuccino deal. The owner's extremely rude response was, "If only I were missing out," to which I countered by saying, "Well, it might make the customer happy," and he began listing his debts, "Why are you paying €8,000 for rent, electricity, and employees?" All this to then eat two croissants that looked like they were made yesterday, surrounded by flies that were also invading the items on display. I also advise the person in question, who further qualifies himself with his comment, to look at all the reviews on TripAdvisor, sometimes horrifying, like those of one of his former employees. P.S. I did the "charity" this morning.

23/08/2025: Fantastic pizzas, top-notch hot food. Top-notch home delivery service. This week I had a small event at our beach house. I ordered the hot food with special box deals from Gerardo! Everyone was happy with the quality of the products. Thanks Gerardo!!

20/09/2025: We tried the Margherita Carrettiera con ’Nduja (€6) and the S. Giovannella (€6). Unfortunately, both dishes were extremely disappointing. The Margherita Carrettiera was supposed to come with tomato, garlic, chili, and Calabrian sausage paste, but it tasted more like plain aglio e olio — no tomato or ’nduja in sight. The S. Giovannella came with a thin tomato sauce and strange-looking meat that was unappetizing. We received some complimentary cheese, but it didn’t improve the dishes. Sadly, we couldn’t even finish the meal. Considering Palermo’s rich food culture, this was a letdown.

17/09/2025: One of the best value bars in the area near Palermo's port. They offer a daily menu, which they can also send daily via WhatsApp with free home delivery. The coffee is good and at an unbeatable price in the city.
