15/06/2025: Piccola ma ottima pizzeria, personale cortese, premuroso e gentile, impasto delle pizze con lievitazione 72 ore encomiabile. Consiglio la Joe, tra le tante tipologie di pizza, un successo per il mio palato, ingredienti d'eccellenza quali mozzarella fiordilatte, salsa di datterino giallo, guanciale croccante, mousse di ricotta con pomodoro secco, mandorle tostate, datterino confit. Ho promesso di scrivere quello che penso con veritiera lealtà. Complimenti ai proprietari per l'attenzione verso i clienti e le materie prime. Ben fatto. Ci tornerò.

27/06/2025: On our round trip through Sicily, Serra San Biagio was our final stop for 4 nights. From the moment we arrived, we could feel it: time moves differently here – more humanely. Rita and Margherita took one look at our tired faces and instantly decided, “First, a cappuccino. Paperwork can wait.” No check-in, no stress – just a table with a view, a warm smile, and that wonderful lightness you can’t explain, only experience. That’s how our stay began – not with forms, but with a true welcome. And this warmth remained with us throughout our entire stay, which is exactly why we’ll never forget Serra San Biagio. The property is beautifully planted and surrounded by olive trees and palm trees. The view of Mount Etna and the sea is phenomenal. During the day, it’s wonderfully peaceful, and the pool is open around the clock. Pure relaxation! Breakfast is excellent, and you can sneak back for a slice of cake throughout the day. In the afternoon, when Rita and Margherita return, the place comes alive. The two of them make a fantastic team – simply enchanting. The rest of the team is also incredibly kind and attentive. In the evenings, delicious traditional dishes are served at fair prices. It’s an absolute pleasure to sit on the terrace, enjoy the food, and watch the evening settle in. We had the perfect ending to our holiday and left with a very heavy heart. The road leading to the property is indeed a bit bumpy, but honestly, it’s not that bad. We’ve had much rougher arrivals – you get used to it. 😄 The only thing that didn’t work perfectly was the WiFi in our room. Unfortunately, it wasn’t very reliable there. But everywhere else on the property, it worked flawlessly. We’re already thinking about when we can come back – next time, just to stay there. Christine + Michele

22/06/2025: Margarita and her mother Rita are very, very nice and make us feel welcome! Margarita also gave us plenty of useful tips. We couldn't enjoy the beautiful pool, but we made a friendship with the cat of the place.

By now, we’ve -sadly- been to about 60 bars in Italy and we can assure everyone that Migi makes by far the most superior negroni’s. 11/08/2025: Mangiafico Gelateria Bar stands out for the excellent quality of its pastries and gelato, which demonstrates its artisanal craftsmanship and careful selection of ingredients. The flavor of the gelato, in particular, is truly remarkable and worth a try. However, it's important to note that the prices are significantly higher than average. A €3.50 gelato cone, for example, makes the experience a truly occasional treat, rather than a daily treat.

08/08/2025: We had a mortadella, pistachio, and Philadelphia bombetta, a cannolo, and a brioche with pistachio Nutella. All three were amazing; you absolutely have to try them. The only downside: they charge a 20% service charge, so it's a bit pricey, but you have to have breakfast here for once.

16/06/2025: We actually wanted to go there for pasta because of the good reviews on Google. However, when we arrived in the afternoon, the kitchen was already closed, so we ordered a salad as an alternative. What bothered me a bit, however, was that the salad was presented in open bags in the display. When we asked for tuna, we were shown a can. I realize that other restaurants often use such ingredients, but the appearance unfortunately spoiled my dining experience. My wife opted for a salad anyway, although it seemed a bit dry to me. There's currently a dark tarpaulin hanging in front of the shop facing the street, which somewhat dampened the atmosphere. The service was friendly, though. Perhaps we were just unlucky that day, because the other reviews actually promise a good experience.
