26/10/2025: POOR ORGANIZATION. Let's start with the assumption that we had to ask for everything separately: from the glasses arriving 10 minutes after the wine, to the courses arriving 30 minutes or more apart. We stood up and stopped our order, and when it came time to pay, the weight of the scampi we'd ordered wasn't listed, so what was the calculation based on? I don't know. My only regret is that the waitress was going absolutely crazy given the constant requests and complaints from all the tables around us. Two stars only for the raw ham. Never again.

25/08/2025: Excellent food and quality ingredients. If you want to enjoy a delicious sandwich or traditional Sicilian fried food, this is the place to be. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only negatives are the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the air conditioning, which wasn't working or wasn't enough to cool the entire room. The outdoor tables are also a bit too close to the road. I hope to see some improvement in these areas, because the place truly deserves better.

25/05/2025: Disappointing service. I tried to use the QR code to access the restaurant app, but none of the ordering devices worked. I reported the issue to the staff, but was told that the devices were perfectly functional and that it was not possible to use the QR code directly at the cash register, which is quite unusual. The service was also extremely slow.

08/10/2025: We visited a few Sicilian restaurants in Palermo and on the southwestern part of the island. We found Tratorria la Lucciola based on Google reviews. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn't live up to the reviews. We ordered grilled tuna with salad and grilled vegetables, veal, and spaghetti ragu. The grilled tuna was served cold. The salad was just arugula, and the grilled vegetables were drenched in oil and also cold. The fish slices were about 1.5 cm thick. The veal was sliced ​​(sic) and bore no resemblance to the photos of the food in the restaurant. Finally, the ragu—instead of al dente pasta with toppings—was served as a runny mess. The dishes tasted like they had been reheated instead of prepared before the meal. This is definitely the worst restaurant we've ever been to.

07/10/2025: Unfortunately, this is the worst restaurant in Sicily. I don't know where the reviews above 4 come from. The food is an absolute disaster! The tuna was freezing, and the grilled vegetables were completely cold, straight from the fridge.

02/10/2025: A very beautiful place on the sea, with ample and convenient parking with access from the main road. The food and wines are quality, though the desserts, I'd say, are less so. We returned after three days.

24/09/2025: A charming place to visit, especially in summer to enjoy the view. The first courses, the desserts, are good, but the selection is limited, and the semifreddo and almond parfait are very icy. The selection of bitters is very limited (only two).

18/08/2025: Sunday afternoon at 5pm we couldn't find any restaurants open and then saw this pizza place. The chef was very friendly and helpful, explained that local kids had torn the menu in half. Anyway 2 great Pizzas and 2 ice teas was €13. He told us we could sit at the tables in the bar opposite and take the box of napkins with us. Great stuff.

08/10/2025: Years ago, when you were with friends, you'd look for a restaurant or trattoria with three steps leading down; it was a guarantee of quality food. A confirmed tradition, I recommend the caciocavallo in a bread crust, the tagliolini alla Natale, or the fresh pasta with pork ragù. As always, it's best to come back for confirmation. Once again, we were completely satisfied.

14/09/2025: Very nice restaurant and well-organized service. From the outside, it doesn't look very spacious, but once inside, it opens up to ample space. Delicious pizza, and friendly, helpful, and professional staff.
