Beautiful view and even more beautiful food. The only downside I could think of is that the portions could be bigger but the fish is as freah as you could hope to get in a restaurant so no stars get taken off. Amazing. The white shrimp tartar entered the top 5 things I ever ate list as soon as I took the first bite!

A great Sunday family experience. At 7:30 PM, we decided to have an APERI-SEA at this location. I hadn't yet had the chance to try their product, although I must admit I've known the fishmonger next door for years. The young, extremely friendly and welcoming staff explained to us what their alcoholic aperitif included: a variety of dishes, each one better than the last, very rich and varied, both cooked and raw. A highlight was the peppery mussels, which were absolutely amazing!!! At the end of the meal, even though we were more than full, I asked for an aperitif instead, which was satisfied in 4 minutes. I've become a regular customer even though I'm not from Catania, but whenever I'm in Catania, Nitto has become a regular. The freshest fish and delicious, elaborate dishes, top-notch service and courtesy, and very reasonable prices (always keeping in mind that you pay for fresh fish; they don't give it away or sell it off!). We were in Sunday, 2pm and it was very crowded, but the service was fast, friendly, and full of energy. A highly recommended place if you like to eat fresh, delicious seafoods. I'll definitely be back!

I'm Chinese, and I've been to Sicily many times, but I'd never eaten here before. Tonight, the owner was incredibly welcoming, warmly arranging for us to sit and relax. Even though it wasn't mealtime yet, he was still very polite in seating us. We ordered salad with raw shrimp, oysters, chilled shrimp salad, squid ink pasta, and shell pasta. The freshness of the ingredients was unparalleled; this is the freshest and best restaurant I've had in Sicily so far. The flavors perfectly suited our tastes. To achieve this, I think the owner must be someone who truly appreciates life. Finally, the price was incredibly reasonable. At 50 euros, I couldn't find another place like this in Sicily. I saw many comments saying the price was high, but I think it's very affordable. Those who said it was over 100 euros, I really don't know what they were thinking. I wouldn't mind spending 100 euros for dinner tonight, because the freshness of the ingredients is the only measure of the price. Thank you for the hospitality. 5⭐️ to the staff, very kind and cheerful, who make you feel at ease and the express service is excellent. I highly recommend them. They recommended a soup, which I ordered, to say the least, was amazing and very generous. 5⭐️ to the quality of the food, appetizers and raw fish, especially the raw fish, which were incredibly flavorful and delicate, melted in the mouth. All this made for a perfect dinner with friends, which made everything else perfect. Truly well done.

Renovated (formerly a Chinese restaurant) and converted into a gastro-fish restaurant. A variety of set first and second courses are available, as well as daily specials. The octopus carbonara is truly special, and the spicy tuna lasagna is excellent. The salmon and almond lasagna is also worth trying. Next time, I'm curious to try the squid ink gnocchi with ricotta. Self-service and a lovely terrace overlooking the marina. Prices are reasonable.
