12/10/2025: A restaurant with a nice terrace/"winter garden" where many locals dine. Very tasty dishes and a wide selection. We were greeted politely, got a table right away, and ordered. The waitress, however, was quite rude; first, she completely messed up our order. When we pointed this out to her (really trying to be very polite), she got upset and then ignored us for the rest of the evening. Another gentleman tried to smooth things over, but we don't really understand respectful behavior. Besides, the restaurant was so loud that it was almost impossible to have a conversation.

19/09/2025: Unique and spectacular dishes, delicious. The place is beautiful on the seafront. We've been there several times to try all the dishes on the menu. I highly recommend it. Go there.

12/09/2025: Like every year, as soon as I arrive in Patti, I can't help but eat at Papilla. Oddly enough, it's a bar/restaurant where the food is truly excellent. Both lunch and dinner are great. I love the bruschetta; I've tried them all, the pistachio ones are a must. The arancini, the cacio e pepe ones, are excellent. For my first course, I'm sticking with the spaghetti with swordfish, lemon, and almond flakes. Delicious. The pasta alla norma, the parmigiana, and the caponata are all revisited, so if you're expecting tradition, skip them. I liked them all, too. Shoutout to Emanuele, the bartender at lunchtime, who was very friendly, as were the girls serving tables. And they're young... good luck everyone!

02/11/2025: Everything was delicious! The restaurant is on a side street. It's an old and cozy place.

02/11/2025: We ate here in 2024, and at my daughter's express request we came to Mariano's for lunch again this year. This time we took a seat inside, not on the street, and were surprised to see how big the place was inside. Several small rooms with 4-5 tables, there must have been about 20-25 guests in total, including us. The waiters were busy, and we were lucky that the owner finally paid us. The grill platters didn't really win us over. The swordfish was better, in a patterned place, but the sardines were very dried out. The squid was also chewier than it should have been. We would rate the fish platter 3/5. In the meat mix, the lamb was also dry and chewy, and there was nothing that stood out in terms of taste. The pork was good and so was the sausage (we haven't eaten such sausages yet, but I liked it). We rated it 4/5, if we round the value up. My daughter said that the spaghetti was excellent, according to her expectations and memories, so 5/5. We all liked the caponata, although it was not the best recipe we ate on the island, so 4.5/5. I think it is overpriced, or more precisely, it is in line with the interior of the island, but 10-20% higher than the average price in Siracusa.

20/10/2025: This restaurant offers an oasis away from the crowds with a wonderful garden view and lots of fresh air. The seafood menu, along with the pasta and great service are a real winner.

18/07/2025: I visit this place frequently and have never been disappointed. The staff are friendly and everything is delicious (especially the cookies). I would definitely recommend stopping by and seeing it for yourself!

16/05/2025: I found this place on the internet by accident. We visited the castle and walked up the hill to the pastry shop and it was WORTH IT. Delicious cookies and a huge selection. I recommend 🍰🥯☕👍

30/08/2025: A disappointing dinner and a hefty bill. The risotto with shrimp and stracciatella was tasteless, like plain rice. The sardines alla beccafico were three in number, tasty enough but indigestible. The service was slow and not very attentive. I don't recommend it.

01/09/2025: We tried Bar Savoia for both their artisanal ice cream and some custom birthday cakes. Everything was delicious and top-quality. The staff was friendly and helpful.

We found the service very friendly, the seafood dishes high-quality and presented with impeccable care. Even the desserts were truly top-notch (must try)!!! Excellent value for money. 01/10/2025: Carletto in Sant'Angela di Militello was a truly pleasant experience. Everything was excellent, from the welcome to the service, and, of course, the food. Among the dishes, the swordfish rolls stand out, a true house specialty: tender, flavorful, and grilled. A delicacy truly worth trying.

30/09/2025: The food may be good, with Carletto cooking by the outdoor fireplace, and working really hard, but the waiters don't pay attention to you. From the moment you arrive, you choose your table, otherwise no one tells you where to sit. A good 20 minutes passed before I ordered. The mussels for the appetizer were large, but they didn't seem fresh. At least in Sicily, fish should be eaten well. I asked for coffee, and the waiter was talking to known customers and replied as if to say, "Yeah, okay, I'm coming..." and continued calmly, ignoring my request. I wouldn't recommend it because there are only 2 or 3 waiters, the place is large, and you risk ending up like a piece of junk.

19/10/2025: They weren’t really open, but they invited us in to eat pizzas… oh and what a pizza it was!!! This may be is one of the best pizzas we’ve had, ever! The crust is perfect! We had the Genovese, Contadina… fun to switch between the two pizzas. The pesto was on point, and the tomato sauce on the Contadina was amazing! We ate too much and HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
