06/11/2025: Extremely disappointed, especially considering the excellent reviews! The meat was full of gristle, and the frying was good. The plate itself was nice, but everything was frozen, as were the fries. All this for over 25 euros a portion, including a bottle of water and half a liter of wine for four people.

23/10/2025: We followed the reviews, it's a great find. Home cooking, very tasty and generous. The value for money is more than excellent. Here they don't charge you for cutlery and bread. And what's more, we were treated to little touches after the bill. We'll be back.

19/10/2025: The only positive aspect is the location opposite the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Otherwise, two "watered-down" aperitifs and a 10% service charge (this is the first time this has happened to us after dozens of trips... except in the UK). All this without any crisps, peanuts, or anything else being served...

26/08/2025: Antonello is super kind and helpful. Excellent prices. Very relaxing room with a pool view and a large terrace. A peaceful place to unwind for a few days away from the chaos of the city. Excellent homemade food. Super affectionate and not at all annoying animals. Wi-Fi is spotty, but still good. The pool doesn't have a diving board, but it's still very large and surrounded by nature. Very convenient private parking. Modern and functional loungers and umbrellas. Zoe, the dog (Jack Russell), is wonderful and super cuddly. P.S.: Try the pasta with pumpkin cream and gorgonzola, as well as the incredibly tender cutlet if available on the menu. Another positive note: the daytime temperatures are excellent, and you can sleep cool at night.

16/10/2025: The pasta and catch of the day (Pesce dei giorno) were excellent! Very good wines. I'd be happy to go back anytime!

16/09/2025: Dinner for 4 people last night and a big disappointment. The setting is nice, the waiters do their job with a smile, but the food is unworthy of the price and expectations: a tuna tartare without any seasoning (you might as well eat plain fish at home), bland and flavorless main courses. We had the impression that everything lacked love, technique and especially taste. Too bad, because the place deserves better, but here it is clearly the food that is letting everything down.

02/10/2025: HAIR IN THE SANDWICH I'm giving it one star because it's impossible to give a zero. I ordered two takeout sandwiches from this restaurant, but unfortunately, the experience was terrible. I found three hairs inside one of the sandwiches. I called immediately to report the problem, and the only solution offered was to order another sandwich, but with a wait of about an hour or more. Furthermore, the woman I spoke to didn't offer any alternatives or show any particular willingness to resolve the issue in a more timely, appropriate, or professional manner. A truly unpleasant and disappointing incident, which has made me lose faith in both the quality and customer service. I used to eat there, but after this incident, I will definitely never return.

24/09/2025: Homemade fries, ultra-generous hamburger... Honestly, look at the size of this monster. More of a takeaway option, but there's no shortage of great places to eat out. Top-notch

02/11/2025: Unfortunately, we only stayed one night at this hotel, very close to the Valley of the Temples, with a beautiful garden and pool. Comfortable and clean rooms, a small but convenient and modern bathroom, and excellent toiletries. The breakfast was excellent, offering everything and more, including gluten-free options. Excellent dinner, generous dishes with fresh, quality ingredients. Extremely kind and efficient staff. Agrigento is a splendid city.

29/10/2025: Fantastic location, walkable to restaurants and supermarkets. Within 10 minutes walk to the temples. The staff at this hotel is just wonderful.

11/10/2025: A simple and refined location, impeccable service, and dishes prepared with top-quality ingredients. Traditional dishes are revisited with a delightfully inventive twist on flavor. A wide selection of wines is also available. Highly recommended.

11/10/2025: Went for lunch today and were greeted warmly. The place is well-maintained and clean. The welcome cocktail was tasty, and the dishes were very carefully prepared. My wife, who is gluten intolerant, was treated with care by the lady in the dining room, unlike some places that make health issues seem like a matter of choice. The prices were "fair." Highly recommended.

15/09/2025: A very good little takeaway pizzeria with a wood-fired oven and homemade dough. You can sit outside. Excellent pizzas, very friendly service, and very fair prices. Highly recommended.

23/09/2025: Work has taken my family away from home (Tortorici), but at least once a year I return to my roots also because I have my parents' house, for the first time I stopped to eat the hazelnut granita (to say excellent is an understatement), I also brought with me a tray of those excellent local confectionery tradition, also given as a gift to a friend, after tasting them he didn't know how to thank me, and I thank Mrs. Lidia who still masterfully carries on the sweet tradition, 😋😋😋😋

02/04/2025: The best pastry shop in Contesse (along with Morabito). Welcoming spaces, friendly, fast, and helpful owners. Small pastries and ricotta cannoli are truly delicious. Prices are reasonable.

21/09/2025: We had four cones of terrible hazelnut and gianduja ice cream. They taste the same. The chocolate left our teeth and lips black. It took 10 minutes to remove the stains, and that doesn't mean it's of high quality. Afterward, we had stomach cramps and heartburn. The cream was ivory, not milky white, and melted to the point of falling out. The ice cream isn't fresh; the cone wafers aren't crispy. It left our mouths sour.

21/09/2025: "Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience today. I've always spoken highly of this ice cream shop and even brought my relatives, convinced of the quality it once had. Instead, the ice cream was terrible and made all four of us feel sick. I was very disappointed, especially because I wanted to make a good impression on my brother and uncles. I made a terrible impression, and right now I can only say I'm deeply disappointed. I will never return. On top of all that, after we had four ice creams, they even differentiated the amount of cream in the smallest cone. This is not the right way to show customer service."
