30/05/2025: We had the great pleasure to be part of a wedding here in May 2025. What a special place this is, a true antidote to the impersonal machine that is so much of the modern wedding industry. A stay at Castello Camemi is like visiting very generous and hospitable friends at their country house - easy, relaxed, nothing too much trouble and so much freedom to use the space and your time exactly as you wish. The rooms are HUGE and tastefully decorated with fantastic bathrooms. The food in the restaurant is excellent as is the wine list. There are a few touches which makes it feel slightly less than 5 star in the typical sense - no luxury/known-brand toiletries in the rooms, no turn-down service, no elegant bar area for cocktails (although they'll bring you a drink wherever you happen to be!) - but for me, the warm hospitality and uniquely intimate and relaxed environment more than makes up for these international standards. Most importantly of all the bride and groom couldn't have been happier.

05/07/2025: Absolutely fantastic spot! Pollo d’Oro is an absolute gem — traditional, no-frills, and brimming with local charm. I popped in for a bite and was immediately greeted by the warm, welcoming owner and a group of friendly regulars who not only engaged in perfect English but were keen to offer food recommendations. While waiting for my chicken (which was well worth the wait), I enjoyed a cold beer that hit the spot perfectly — crisp, refreshing, and exactly what was needed after a day in the sun. But the real surprise was the arancino — rich, flavourful, and possibly the best I’ve ever had. It set the tone for what was to come. When the chicken arrived, it was sensational. Perfectly cooked, seasoned to perfection, and served without any of the fuss or inflated prices you find in tourist-heavy spots. Everything about Pollo d’Oro feels authentic — the food, the people, the atmosphere. A brilliant place to eat well, drink happily, and feel like you’ve stepped into a slice of real Sicily. I’ll be back without a doubt.

27/08/2025: Thanks to the warm and perfect welcome from Francesca and all the staff, we had an unforgettable stay at Belvedere di Salina. Leni and the beach of the village of Rinella are the best starting point for visiting the island and the entire archipelago. The structure is the authentic result of a meticulous renovation of a small village, starting with the foresight of Pope Salvatore. An authentic experience (increasingly rare to find) of the traditions, flavors, and aromas of the Aeolian Islands. See you soon, Andrea and Giovanna.

24/08/2025: A wonderful discovery in Salina. The entire staff, led by Francesca, is superb. You're on vacation, but at the same time, you're part of Francesca's family, who welcomes you with extraordinary warmth. Nothing is left to chance. From the carefully designed accommodations to the incredibly generous breakfast with local and homemade products, to the immaculate cleanliness of the residence and the common and private spaces. Total relaxation immersed in nature, with a natural silence where you can truly listen to nature. They use local products, with great attention to those with food intolerances. Keep it up! 21/04/2025: Ristorante di ottima qualità un bistrot siciliano in purezza. Siamo andati in questi giorni di vacanza per la Settimana Santa consigliati da alcuni amici. Piatti fatti bene con ricercatezza e tecnica. Servizio di buon livello simpatico ed empatico, mai presuntuoso. Ho notato una bella cantina di vini di ottima etichette, forse limitata la scelta dei siciliani che possono accompagnare questa cucina moderna e intraprendente. Complimenti e tenete duro…

19/06/2025: We stayed with the family (2 adults and 2 children aged 8 and 12) for 5 days. Super positive experience, clean environment, absolutely kind and helpful staff. Daniele called us as soon as we got off the hydrofoil to ask if he could help us with a ride to the hotel even though the structure is a few hundred meters from the port. Stefano, in addition to being an exquisite and helpful person, is an expert on the island so you can ask for any information. This structure is a guarantee, very close to the center so convenient for everything.

28/09/2025: I'll be back, everything was super good, cannoli, mushrooms, cream puffs, cakes, babà, various biscuits, etc. I'd say it was delicious and at a good price.

07/09/2025: Highly recommended pastry shop in the center of Patti, where you can find every sweet delicacy! I was delighted with the special cake I ordered, which completely met our expectations in terms of shape, quality, and flavor. The owner, Nicola, and pastry chef, were extremely helpful and kind, fulfilling all my requests. We'll definitely be back!
