The staff was extraordinary, always kind, smiling, and attentive to our every need. The property is meticulously maintained, clean, and has a truly special atmosphere. The location is fantastic. 12/05/2026: The hotel is well-located in a quiet area; a car is essential. The rooms are excellent, spacious, and clean. The breakfast and restaurant are good, and the grounds are beautiful. The staff is very helpful.

04/01/2026: We were really pleased. I recommend the dishes you can't find elsewhere, like the artichokes with bottarga, the tagliolini with oysters and sea asparagus, and the fish soup of the day... the rest is also top-notch. We also ordered the pizzas, which have a thin, light, and fragrant crust. The tiramisu deserves praise, as does the tagliolini with oysters and asparagus (one of the best pasta dishes I've ever tried). Well done, well done, even the waiter.

01/05/2026: A truly wonderful restaurant worth visiting. The place has character, and the sunset view is magnificent. A warm welcome from the chef himself and professional service. On the plate, everything is delicious; the food is a delight, and the portions are perfectly adequate. A good wine list with reasonable prices. Special mention for the lamb chops and the cheese platter.

24/07/2026: BEWARE - Tourist trap. Passing through on our journey from the airport we stopped off here for lunch. Seemed a bit shady and hidden off the road but assumed it might be ok as it was filled with local workers or tradesmen. The waiters struggled to communicate with us but were pleasant and tried their best despite the language barrier. However no menu was provided (which should have rung alarm bells). We agreed upon 2 portions of ravioli and 2 portions of tomato pasta which came in what appeared to be 4 child size plates. We were hungry so we ate it but overall the standard was quite average. Finally the bill payment which involved suspect behaviour. As I approached the till person, I was made to wait an extra 5 minutes while a discussion took place with the waiter. It felt unusual and once the bill was presented to me I soon knew why. €80 for what was probably 4 mini left over portions of tomato pasta and watery ravioli and 4 water charges (despite being given a single 1.5l water bottle). I was shocked to say the least but anxious to get out of there. My only warning to any tourists is to take note of this review and never go inside this dreaded place!

08/08/2026: Positive experience, but there's room for improvement in the service. The waiters were confused when taking orders, and drinks were late. On the other hand, the location was very nice, the atmosphere was nice, and the food was good. Prices were medium to high.

06/08/2026: It was a pleasant evening at Taverna degli Artisti. For us adults, a fish appetizer, a first course, and a grilled dish; for the girls, pizza. The dishes were very good and beautifully presented, and the house white wine was excellent.

05/08/2026: My wife and I dined here during our vacation in San Teodoro and were truly delighted. The setting is elegant, the atmosphere relaxed, and the staff friendly, attentive, and always available. We enjoyed excellent seafood dishes, prepared with fresh ingredients and cooked with great balance. The seafood fregola was rich and flavorful, while the grilled calamari was incredibly tender, perfectly cooked, and accompanied by excellent potatoes. The service was prompt but never rushed, and the bill was absolutely in line with the quality offered. We highly recommend this restaurant and will gladly return to it on our next visit to San Teodoro.
