18/08/2025: If you're not Italian, you'll be served after the Italians. I went there twice and came after all the Italians. There was even one time when I received my pizza after an hour, even though my children and wife had finished. It's a real shame. The food is average (the pasta had a bit too much oil). I don't recommend it if you're not Italian.

27/07/2025: Un locale che dal punto di vista del “ vestito “ mi sarei aspettato di più, invece no. Silvio, nome del titolare, e’ un persona positiva che ha il senso del cliente, ma la signora che ci ha accolto, penso la moglie, un dobermann sempre arrabbiato che ci ha accolto molto male, mai un sorriso, una carineria, un vero disastro!!! La cucina come tempistica, abbastanza efficiente, cade sul prodotto. Le pizze mi sono sembrate precotte, una uguale all’altra, ho chiesto una semplice napoletana che aveva almeno 3 cucchiai di capperi e qualche pezzetto di salice di scarsa qualità !!! Il torroncino una spremuta di zucchero!!!! Avrei voluto protestare con Silvio. Ma ho pensato che non di meritava questa mia arrabbiatura, che rimane grave!!! A non più rivederci e se posso dare un consiglio. Silvio fai fuori la Signora sempre arrabbiata della Cassa. La gente lo nota parecchio.

07/07/2025: We stopped by for the typical Italian aperitif we'd told the family we were traveling with about, a favorite we've had from another trip where we spent a wonderful afternoon eating and drinking, but today we didn't get it right. Three Aperol Spritzes, a glass of Vermentino wine, a Coca-Cola, and the aperitif was very limited and expensive. A small portion of four varieties per person, and it was also full of wasps, which made our visit very unpleasant. Not recommended, although the service and the views of the sea were very good.

11/08/2025: We went to this restaurant because it had been closed near our house for about a year. We were hoping to find a place where we could have a quiet dinner for a few moments. The place is very nice, with tables in the adjacent square, soft lighting. It's a shame the background music is like a Latin American disco (we would have preferred softer music, even in volume, more appropriate for a dinner setting). Overall, a terrible experience, one to forget. We obviously won't be returning, even though it's just a stone's throw from home. Let's start with the order: the wine list was nonexistent. There were 4/5 varieties of white wine, of which only one was actually available for ordering. (In the summer, I find it appalling not to have a white wine list and not having chilled wines). We chose the wine, which was obviously very expensive for the bottle, and it was served without letting us taste it, without even presenting the bottle—in short, nonexistent service. We started dinner with two starters, which, we must say, were a positive note of the evening, good and with adequate portions. At this point, despite the restaurant's insane prices, we decided to continue with fried calamari to share. Here too, we were told that it was probably not possible to order it because there were many orders in line (I should point out that there were 20 seats in the entire restaurant, and the place was empty). After consulting with the chef, we were told that the fried food could be served in a reasonable time, so we ordered it. The dish did indeed arrive quickly, but it was poor both in quantity and quality. It was rubbery, greasy, and inedible. Furthermore, to fill the plate, some salad and two cherry tomatoes were added that were not requested and not relevant to the dish (I imagine to be filling). If I ask for fried food, I want a plate of fried food. Unfortunately, an experience to forget, a very expensive place, inadequate staff, inadequate music, inadequate menu (we found Fassona dishes but are we in Piedmont? Or Sardinia?) out of place... if you want to run a high-level restaurant you have to provide adequate service, have an adequate wine list, an adequate menu and adequate music, and adequate dishes, the only saving grace were the first courses and the wine which was actually good even though I didn't have the chance to taste it, but extremely expensive in everything.

02/09/2025: Our stay at Cala di Volpe in Sardinia in June was simply a dream – an absolute highlight of our trip! From the moment we arrived, we felt the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The entire team is incredibly friendly and attentive; you immediately feel welcome and cared for. The resort itself is beautiful – Mediterranean flair, manicured gardens, stunning views of the sea, and an elegance that never seems forced. The sommeliers deserve special praise: so excellently trained, with great expertise and a passion for wine that made every evening something truly special. A huge compliment to this fantastic team! Our favorite waiter, Paolo, particularly touched us with his cordiality, attentiveness, and warmth – he made every meal an unforgettable experience. The culinary variety was also outstanding: from lunch at the juice bar to the relaxed aperitivo in the atrium to the restaurants in the evening, which shone with excellent cuisine, loving presentation, and a unique atmosphere – it was simply unique. The rooms were spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable, and furnished with great attention to detail – a perfect retreat after a day of enjoyment and relaxation. All in all: The Cala di Volpe combines luxury, hospitality, and the highest quality in an inimitable way. We enjoyed every minute and are already looking forward to our next visit!

23/07/2025: There was a piece of plate inside the pizza and when we did the observation in a polite way, they didn’t care, then when they came with the check, we told them again, “be careful”, then the waitress was very rude, and said that “they will discount the price of the pizza, because it didn’t make any difference for them” she didn’t apologise, they didn’t admit the mistake, they didn’t respect, because it’s very delicate they had a piece of something inside the food. The waitress started to raise the voice saying that I had to be respectful and said “I don’t know how things in your country work but in her country things work differently”. The comments she did were beyond rude, discriminatory. I don’t recommend this place at all, it’s a matter of approach and respect!

08/09/2025: Spectacular location, friendly and fast service. Excellent food and fair prices. I've been back three times in a week and always had excellent food. In the evening, reservations are practically mandatory for dinner on the veranda overlooking the marina or on the beach (wonderful at sunset). All the staff were extremely friendly. I highly recommend it. After a few years in Sardinia, I returned to eat here again and I can confirm my excellent rating. Thanks also to my friend Pietro, who introduced me to it.

09/06/2025: As always: everyone has different tastes. We stopped there before boarding the ferry because of the post about the best pizza in Sardinia. They don't serve pizza, just small—what are they called? Paninis? For our taste, the ones from the freezer were only big enough for toddlers. We left hungry and disappointed. We absolutely don't recommend it. Sorry! Regarding the topic: You confused us, I've attached a photo, and if you scroll down, you'll also find the post from the person who wrote: Best pizza. All I can say is: No!

06/06/2025: La pizza muy muy rica y el pan de pizza igual. Lo que nos sobró nos lo pusieron para llevar y no hemos parado de comerlo con hummus en la playa. El personal muy amable. El único pero: la ensalada tropical: media lata de atún, 4 tomates cherry partidos y unos trozos de aguacate no maduro por 10€… pero igual fue culpa nuestra por pedir ensalada en una pizzería con pizzas enormes riquísimas y por un precio muy bueno!

29/05/2025: Miglior pizza dell’isola! Siamo stati a cena due volte in una settimana, la seconda volta perchè ancora pensavamo alla pizza buonissima mangiata la prima sera! La proprietaria ti fa sentire a casa, cordiale e amichevole! La consigliamo a tutti!
