01/05/2026: A truly wonderful restaurant worth visiting. The place has character, and the sunset view is magnificent. A warm welcome from the chef himself and professional service.
On the plate, everything is delicious; the food is a delight, and the portions are perfectly adequate. A good wine list with reasonable prices.
Special mention for the lamb chops and the cheese platter.

Spacious rooms, balcony overlooking the village square and church.
Kitchen could be better equipped.
Sun loungers and parasol free of charge!
Friendly and helpful staff.

02/05/2026: Sardinian gnocchi and Gallura soup, mixed grill, spaghetti with seafood... impossible to decide which dish is the best, so come back several times to try them all
19/02/2026: I work in Sardinia during the summer, and visiting Sottomonte... tasting their delicacies... mmm... zuppa gallurese, suckling pig... and all the other delicious specialties... the roaring fire, the kindness of the staff... all of this is priceless!
Nothing can describe the satisfaction of dining at Giovannino.
I go very often in the summer for "work," and I'm always more satisfied with my choice.

01/05/2026: We ordered two dishes: "Ciusoni Fatti A Mano Con Gamberi, Asparagi E Pomodorini" and "Culurgiones Ripieni Di Patate Pecorino E Menta Con Pomodorini Confit, Basilico E Cialdine Di Parmigiano."
Both dishes were absolutely delicious and worth every penny.
I would especially like to commend the exceptional friendliness of the owner and staff.
Highly recommended; we will definitely be back.

10/06/2026: Overall, the restaurant has a certain charm thanks to its simple ambiance, somewhat reminiscent of a snack bar. The service was friendly, and they even found us a table without a reservation (reservations are recommended). Unfortunately, the food wasn't good. The pasta with mussels tasted very fishy and not fresh, and the fried calamari was rubbery. We sent the pasta back (unfortunately, the language barrier was too great to find a suitable solution), so we didn't have to pay.

They also make fresh orange juice every morning.

05/08/2025: Typical Sardinian hospitality from those who don't want to work. You come in at 4 pm and ask for artisanal ice cream, and it's still not there. So you ask for an aperitif. "An aperitif at 4 pm?" "I can't make you a platter, sorry." So, 2 crodini will do.
Well... they have everything and I can't handle it...

09/05/2026: The fruity and spicy tomato sauce meets a light, crispy, perfectly cooked crust. Plenty of cheese with excellent flavor, plus just the right amount of heat from a fresh, coarsely ground salami, topped with chili oil. The arugula on the second pizza was fresh and crisp, and the prosciutto was top quality. We are thrilled. The best pizza we have ever eaten; highly recommended.

The staff are amongst the most friendly, helpful, just great people I've met anywhere.
The bedroom, whilst everything worked, was very tired, especially the bathroom. And to have a fuel station in your front garden is just bizarre.

03/09/2025: Very tidy hotel, spacious room, and comfortable beds. Very friendly reception staff. We had an early excursion, and they gave us breakfast before the scheduled time. Very attentive! Great location, just a few meters from the beach and also a few meters from the center for nightlife. Easy parking.
