09/07/2025: Hotel L'Aragosta - A Stay to Forget My experience at Hotel L'Aragosta was deeply disappointing, and I honestly wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Despite its 3-star rating, the property doesn't even seem to meet the minimum standards for a hotel of this category, offering services and conditions that border on uncomfortable and even dangerous. One of the most obvious problems concerns the rooms and their lack of soundproofing. The beds were noisy at the slightest movement, prompting complaints from neighbors who evidently heard every sound, even knocking on the walls. This lack of soundproofing extended throughout the hotel, making it impossible to sleep peacefully: conversations and even arguments between other guests could be clearly heard from adjacent rooms. The safety and functionality of the in-room amenities were equally concerning. The hairdryer had a completely frayed cord, making it extremely dangerous to use. The bathroom was another sore point: the shower was so small it was almost unusable. Finally, key management and front desk assistance proved inadequate. Having to leave the key at reception every time was inconvenient, but even worse was the situation in the evening: returning late at night would find the keys unattended on the counter, with no staff present. This raises serious concerns about guest safety and privacy. In summary, Hotel L'Aragosta fell far short of expectations for a 3-star hotel, with serious deficiencies in terms of comfort, security, and service. My experience was so negative that I would not recommend it to any traveler.

09/08/2025: Endless wait, subpar food, total confusion over the orders. They even chased us around, claiming they hadn't paid, shouting!

04/08/2025: The staff is uninterested and unfriendly, and the menu offers a poor quality-price ratio. For a dinner for three, we received one semi-burned pizza, comparable to supermarket pizza, and two plates of pasta that were extremely al dente (not to mention undercooked). The picturesque location and the speed of preparation are, however, positives. In short, this is a restaurant worth considering if you're looking for a quick dinner near the Alghero ramparts, while keeping your expectations low.

19/07/2025: Dinner with friends at Buddha Bar. Another excellent experience. The cocktails are always perfect (Mediterranean Mule 😍). Refined sharing dishes. The prices are reasonable compared to what is practiced in the region.

17/07/2025: A very pleasant bar atmosphere. Attentive staff, excellent cocktails, and sophisticated dishes. The DJ mixes and sings for a guaranteed relaxing moment. We had a great time and will be back soon.

09/07/2025: Si fa fatica a descrivere l esperienza vissuta in questo ristorante. La posizione è carina, ma appena si mette piede nel ristorante si ha l impressione che tutto sia un po’ lasciato al caso. Seduti al regalo arriva il primo cameriere che ci chiede solo se volevamo dell acqua. Dopo un po’ arriva il secondo chiediamo un piatto fuori menù: una tartare di tonno. Dopo aver chiesto al maitre di sala, allo chef ci arriva. Presentazione molto casalinga qualità buona. Ai primi un flop totale. Risotto e fregola piatti senza un minimo di sapore. Pago un conto di ca 150€ per una tartare, due primi, 2 tagliate di anguria e 2 calici di vino. Il dopo è ancora più assurdo. Poi aver lasciato il locale ci raggiunge il maitre di sala e ci chiede se dal conto poteva togliere il primo che non avevamo mangiato. Allucinante

24/05/2025: Una piacevolissima sorpresa all' uscita dello spettacolo della Cucciari al Teatro Massimo in un sabato sera. Seduti nell'ultimo tavolo non prenotato abbiamo prenotato una Carlofortina ed una Funghi e Prosciutto. Sono rimasto entusiasta della bontà della pasta di questa pizza, cotta nel forno elettrico, e fatta a doppia lievitazione come ho saputo dopo mia richiesta di curiosità al pizzaiolo. Ben cotta, fragrante, soffice. Davvero super. Complimenti alla celerità del servizio: ma siamo stati fortunati perché seduti per primi davanti a tutti i tavoli prenotati per il dopo teatro. Giovani e cordiali i due camerieri. Assolutamente da tornarci, nel mio prossimo viaggio nell' Isola, dalla mia Roma

26/06/2025: The pizzas are good, even well-seasoned. But little choice of combinations compared to other pizzerias. The problem is that the pizzeria, certainly, takes more orders than it can handle and consequently home deliveries are always late. Even 30/40 minutes of waiting. However, the delivery driver is always very kind. Obviously it is not his fault. Even if you go to get them, they do not make them for you until you have arrived. So you wait those 15 minutes anyway.

09/06/2025: Good pizza but service to say the least needs to be reviewed, booked for 9pm and they brought us the pizza for 11.15pm. Lots of people waiting for dinner without understanding why so few dishes were coming out of the kitchen, true that it was Saturday but too much waiting.

07/06/2025: I was really impressed with this restaurant! The carbonara was simply outstanding – just the right amount of creamy, with fresh ingredients and a perfect balance of flavours. The crispy guanciale and well-measured pecorino cheese made the dish authentic and unforgettable. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere of the place was warm and welcoming. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to taste a real Roman carbonara as it should be. I will definitely be back!

05/04/2025: Locale raffinato ma nello stesso tempo familiare. Prodotti freschissimi e buonissimi. Ero con una amica e abbiamo mangiato un antipasto e una grigliata mista. Tutto delizioso! Poi abbiamo chiesto un sorbetto che ci hanno preparato al momento. Personale gentilissimo.

03/03/2025: Attirati dalla nomea, ecco i piatti e le valutazioni: Antipasti freddi di mare: Polpo con patate: plasticoso e salato, Gamberoni con asparagi: pieni di sabbia (e il cameriere si chiede anche come mai lasciamo la vergogna), Carpaccio di pesce spada: perché mettere aceto e coprire un sapore delicato? Cernia in agrodolce: sugo che copre un pesce congelato... Primi: Spaghetti arselle bottarga: non buoni, arselle senza sapore Linguine astice x2: un astice per 2 persone ok, ma poi solo una porzione di pasta, Pesce spada arrosto con pomodorini: pieno di aglio da coprire il sapore... Ma se il prodotto è buono, che motivo c'è di coprire i sapori con aglio e aceto?
