26/06/2025: The pizzas are good, even well-seasoned. But little choice of combinations compared to other pizzerias. The problem is that the pizzeria, certainly, takes more orders than it can handle and consequently home deliveries are always late. Even 30/40 minutes of waiting. However, the delivery driver is always very kind. Obviously it is not his fault. Even if you go to get them, they do not make them for you until you have arrived. So you wait those 15 minutes anyway.

05/04/2025: Locale raffinato ma nello stesso tempo familiare. Prodotti freschissimi e buonissimi. Ero con una amica e abbiamo mangiato un antipasto e una grigliata mista. Tutto delizioso! Poi abbiamo chiesto un sorbetto che ci hanno preparato al momento. Personale gentilissimo.

03/03/2025: Attirati dalla nomea, ecco i piatti e le valutazioni: Antipasti freddi di mare: Polpo con patate: plasticoso e salato, Gamberoni con asparagi: pieni di sabbia (e il cameriere si chiede anche come mai lasciamo la vergogna), Carpaccio di pesce spada: perché mettere aceto e coprire un sapore delicato? Cernia in agrodolce: sugo che copre un pesce congelato... Primi: Spaghetti arselle bottarga: non buoni, arselle senza sapore Linguine astice x2: un astice per 2 persone ok, ma poi solo una porzione di pasta, Pesce spada arrosto con pomodorini: pieno di aglio da coprire il sapore... Ma se il prodotto è buono, che motivo c'è di coprire i sapori con aglio e aceto?

16/07/2025: Not very welcoming. We waited to order, but other customers arrived in the meantime, and their orders were taken before ours. The macchiato wasn't bad, but the service needs improvement. 😉

15/07/2025: The food was delicious. Very friendly service. The price was definitely reasonable. Drinks are a bit more expensive, but I don't think that's surprising considering the central square.

23/08/2024: Stumbled across this place after walking back from the Roman Amphitheatre. I'm glad I did because there is not a lot else up that way in the city, and I was hot, and I needed refreshment. I can't say anything for the food or coffee but got an aperol spritz, which was mixed well and cold and also did takeaway option. I don't understand all these one star review as the guy behind the bar was super friendly, and I really didn't think he seemed racist at all.

09/06/2025: Good pizza but service to say the least needs to be reviewed, booked for 9pm and they brought us the pizza for 11.15pm. Lots of people waiting for dinner without understanding why so few dishes were coming out of the kitchen, true that it was Saturday but too much waiting.

07/06/2025: I was really impressed with this restaurant! The carbonara was simply outstanding – just the right amount of creamy, with fresh ingredients and a perfect balance of flavours. The crispy guanciale and well-measured pecorino cheese made the dish authentic and unforgettable. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere of the place was warm and welcoming. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to taste a real Roman carbonara as it should be. I will definitely be back!

20/07/2025: Tappa ormai fissa durante le nostre vacanze estive. Ristorante informale con posizione che adoriamo. Si va per mangiare pesce fresco grigliato, tra cui aragosta e astice ( anche bolliti ). Prezzi alti se si sceglie il fresco, ma in linea con la qualità.

08/07/2025: Colpiti dalla bontà dei piatti, ci siamo tornati una seconda sera. Il posto è molto suggestivo, in riva al mare e alcuni tavoli sono sulla spiaggia ed è indispensabile prenotare perché sempre pieno. Eccezionali gli spaghetti alle vongole e vongole e bottarga, molto buono anche l'antipasto di dentice e pomodori. Tasto dolente l'insalata, che viene servita nel piatto pieno d'acqua, quindi non centrifugata. Ci saremmo aspettati che non venisse compresa nel conto, invece sì. A parte questo inconveniente, il locale merita una visita.

06/06/2025: Incomprehensible service. It's like being in a psychiatric hospital where the employees don't do anything sensible. At 12pm, the pizza oven wasn't even turned on. We had a 30-minute wait to eat a pizza, and we were the fastest served.

16/06/2025: Er zot niemand op het terras dit had een waarschuwing moeten zijn. Het eten was veel te duur voor de kwaliteit. De serveerster gooide letterlijk het bord op tafel.

02/06/2025: Vollkommen überteuert! Ich bestellte Bruschetta Caprese und ein kleines Bier. Dafür habe ich komplett und mit dem Service, der auf Sardinien größtenteils als Trinkgeld schon mit enthalten ist, 24 Euro bezahlen müssen. Ich habe den Fehler gemacht und habe mir nicht die Karte geben lassen, sonder habe anhand der Auslage (ohne Preise) bestellt. Natürlich war es mein Fehler, nicht nach Karte zu bestellen. Nichtsdestotrotz finde ich es unverschämt.

14/07/2025: VERY EXPENSIVE kiosk/refreshment area, with food and umbrella prices that I've seen almost halved in the surrounding beach resorts... quite scandalous, considering also that they occupy with their illegal umbrellas part of an already small and crowded FREE BEACH, as well as another small beach dedicated to them.

28/07/2025: We stayed three people—two adults and a 9-year-old child—for eight nights in a three-room apartment, and overall the experience was positive, although there were a few areas that could be improved. Among the village's strong points were undoubtedly the two swimming pools and the entertainment program, which made our stay more enjoyable in the late afternoon after returning from the beach and in the evening after dinner. We also greatly appreciated the 24-hour reception, a real convenience, although we never used it. The location is truly excellent: close to all essential services, including three supermarkets, a bakery, a butcher, restaurants, a pharmacy, and ice cream shops, all within easy walking distance, which greatly simplifies daily life. Not to mention the fact that it's just a few kilometers from the beaches of Cala Liberotto, Berchida, Biderosa, and many other truly stunning coves. One final aspect that I think is a plus compared to many other properties is the flexible check-in/out schedule, which doesn't force you to stay on a specific day of the week (in practice, you're not forced to stay seven nights, from Saturday to Saturday or Sunday to Sunday, as is almost always the case). As for areas for improvement that could truly make a difference, we encountered a few critical issues. Regarding the air conditioning, we knew there was a charge for its use. We requested the remote control to make sure it was available, but in reality, we never used it. Upon checkout, however, we were charged for each day of "supposed" use, without any actual verification through consumption or other means. This seemed like a questionable approach. In our apartment, the shower glass was broken: we reported it, but unfortunately it wasn't repaired during our stay. The cutlery wasn't entirely clean, the mosquito net was missing from the bathroom window, the only pan had a scratched bottom (not great for your health), and the air conditioning unit drain for the upstairs apartment wasn't properly managed because it was wetting our outdoor patio. A more thorough inspection of the apartments before guests' arrival could easily resolve similar issues. The waste sorting system also seemed unclear for those arriving from out of the region; I would suggest providing a simple information sheet in each apartment with information on collection points and disposal methods; it would be really helpful. Another aspect that impacted our experience was the presence of numerous mosquitoes and wasps. Finally, we noted that the pool filters could be more effective, as sea water seemed clearer than pool water, especially in the late afternoon, starting around 5:00 PM. I hope this review is helpful to the managers and anyone thinking of staying at this property!

27/07/2025: We had a truly unforgettable holiday at Residence Ontani, and much of the credit goes to Mariapaola's extraordinary welcome at reception. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel at home: kindness, professionalism, and availability were the hallmarks of her service. Always smiling, she was ready to respond to every need with great courtesy and attention. The property is in a perfect location for exploring some of Sardinia's most beautiful beaches, all easily accessible and simply spectacular. Every day was a pleasure to discover new coves, relax in the sun, and enjoy the crystal-clear sea. Everything was magnificent, from the first to the last day. A stay that left us with wonderful memories and a great desire to return. Thank you so much to Mariapaola and the entire staff at Residence Ontani for making our holiday so special!

09/07/2025: Helpful staff No pizza for lunch. Delicious first courses. Dated but welcoming decor. Restrooms a little less so...but clean.

14/06/2025: Location a bit dated especially the bathrooms not accessible to the elderly or disabled lower the rating a lot a ramp at the entrance is not enough. The food is good overall, the pizza better, reasonable prices, competent service. Excellent location in one of the busiest and most prestigious streets of the city, near banks and various offices the restaurant has an external veranda and an internal room to be modernized, but essential.

10/05/2025: Si mangia molto bene e la vista è stupenda ma le cadute di stile sono tante. Le regole della ristorazione mancano completamente. Per esempio, aprono le porte alle 21, non un minuto minuto prima e ti costringono a stare fuori ( consigliandoti di stare in macchina per il freddo). All’entrata, ti fanno trovare la tavola apparecchiata con tutti i piatti di portata. Il menù è fisso e a prezzo fisso. Se chiedi il cambio del piatto rispondono che stanno finendo con le portate e che quindi si deve mangiare su un unico piatto con i resti dei tanti antipasti. Il vino servito è imposto e viene da una bottiglia già aperta. Non hanno l’acqua frizzante per non ho capito quale motivo. Finalmente il dolce servito su un piattino personale. Nel complesso si può sorridere del loro fare “ruspante”.

21/02/2025: Tanti antipasti di mare, alcuni possono essere considerati dei secondi di pesce; un primo, con scampi e calamari, buonissimo; un vermentino di qualità; Un dolce ottimo. Porzioni generose, qualità/prezzo ottimo.
