16/09/2025: The food is truly terrible.... Burnt spaghetti, food seemed spoiled, truly miserable dishes, the owner is rude, honestly I will never go there again.

29/08/2025: Dirty, sticky, and terrible quality. We sent back almost everything we ordered; fish that should have been cooked was served half raw (and no, it wasn't sushi). Another place that gives you diarrhea for at least two days. Worst experience.

04/05/2025: We celebrated my daughter's birthday. Very nice and welcoming place, really professional staff and very helpful in organizing the event down to the smallest details, always ready to listen. Very patient and friendly waiters. Delicious food. I highly recommend it

26/04/2025: Lenti al massimo nonostante non fosse una serata piena di gente! Sti panini sono piccoli e sanno di poco, l hamburger sembra quello del Mc Donald’s. Patatine in porzioni davvero esigue e sembrano le classiche patatine dei sacchetti congelati nel supermercato. Chiediamo di abbassare il volume della musica per parlare e non l hanno fatto. I tovaglioli di carta 1 a testa; chiediamo di portarci altri tovaglioli e ce ne portano 4 in più (ci siamo puliti le mani sui muri)!! Non venivamo da molto tempo ma dopo 1 anno la situazione sembra sia calata ulteriormente. E per concludere al conto avevamo più fame di prima nonostante le 37€ a coppia per 1 panino, 2 patatine al centro e la birra pure smezzata….che follia!!!

18/08/2025: I highly recommend this place; I think it's the worst restaurant in Avetrana. Today, for the first time, we went to a restaurant, paid quickly, having left everything (the first course we ordered) on our plates, and at 1:30 PM we were looking for a new place to eat. As soon as we arrived at the Perla, we politely asked if we could eat and were escorted into this large, dark dining room that gave the impression of being completely unsanitary. The lady brought us the menu, we looked at it, and when it came time to order, we opted for three different first courses. The "Lady" insistently asked us to order the same first course for convenience without giving any real reason, and we didn't take kindly to her. We decided to just order that (three tagliolini with scampi) and a bottle of still water. Once the courses arrived, we tasted them and a few forkfuls, all three of us realized it was not our day. We left almost everything on our plates and asked for the bill. We left having spent a total of 38 euros without having eaten anything. But the worst thing was that the owner didn't even care about our inconvenience. She just took our money and said goodbye!!!

17/06/2025: Tasty pizza, cooked in a wood oven, with quality ingredients. The staff is courteous and helpful, helping to create a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. The internal outdoor courtyard is also very nice, ideal for dining on summer evenings. Recommended!

10/09/2025: A wonderful place, and the staff made the evening unforgettable! We were a group of over 15 people; the view, the drinks, and the attention did the rest :) All the girls have wonderful memories of Taranto, thanks in part to the Palio. Thanks again!

31/08/2025: We went for an after-dinner drink in one of Taranto's best locations. The view, next to the Aragonese Castle, is truly breathtaking. The staff welcomed us professionally and escorted us to our table. We ordered two amari and enjoyed the moonlight reflected on the sea.

01/10/2025: Everything was great, even the delivery times were accurate. Obviously, if you order on Saturday or Sunday, you'll have a longer wait. Prices were average. Well done!

16/08/2025: After 2 and a half hours of waiting with the place empty, they still come to ask us what we should have, I have never been to a place like this and I will never go back, terrible experience, I lost the desire to eat. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED

17/08/2025: We stayed one night, primarily because of the property's excellent location. The price was reasonable, but that doesn't justify the malfunction of some amenities listed as available, such as air conditioning, television, and Wi-Fi. Furthermore, there was no hairdryer. Despite this, the staff was friendly and helpful.

13/08/2025: Unfortunately, I don't usually make such judgments, but the rooms were dirty, smelled of smoke, and the reception service was very "cold."

30/07/2025: Finally, a Roman-style calzone that lives up to the good old days... excellent pizza and calzone, really light dough, and best of all, a wonderful smile welcomes you at the door and invites you to sit down. A truly positive experience; we arrived at 10:30 PM and were ready to eat within 10 minutes.

07/07/2025: I returned after a few years. We went last night for dinner. Spectacular. We had an exceptional grill for 2 and grilled mortadella. A true poem of flavors. Highly recommended.

21/07/2025: Extremely high prices (even takeaway... a caprese salad costs €9.50), burnt pizza, and subpar ingredients; the place is old, it feels like you've gone back 30 years... In fact, POS NOT RECEIVED: the manager of the place "recommends" (in 2025) withdrawing money from the ATM of the bank next door. SPEECHLESS

19/10/2025: Good afternoon, today I had lunch at this place and I have to say that the food was excellent, as were the savoury dishes and the various plain and chocolate cream brioches, etc. The place is very clean and welcoming and managed enthusiastically by the owners and their valid collaborators. In short, it is definitely worth trying and recommending for breakfast, aperitifs and lunches. You will certainly be more than satisfied.

14/09/2025: Historic café in the center of Taranto, with a wide selection of pastries, perfect for breakfast, and friendly staff. No waiting for an outdoor table. Recommended 👍🏻

01/09/2025: Lovely place, very friendly staff, and high-quality wine. It's a shame the aperitif was lacking in imagination and truly meager. A platter with only one dry, thick-cut cold cut and one type of cheese that wasn't even local. Tasteless taralli, lupini beans, and olives, and a dry, oil-free dip. If there had been a classic platter with various cold cuts and cheeses, a bit of focaccia from Bari, we wouldn't have gone home hungry.

28/08/2025: The panzerotti and croissants are excellent. The wait is a bit long, but that's to be expected in a crowded seaside town.

20/07/2025: Un locale che abbiamo sempre frequentato con la vecchia gestione. Ieri sera pessima esperienza : pizza non commestibile e prezzi alle stelle.....birra da 33 in bottiglia €4,50; coperto €3....una misera porzione di patatine €6. Che dire? Una rapina! Ma fisse stata mangiarle la pizza( mal lievitata e cruda), il costo non avrebbe avuto importanza... Croce! Mai più

19/07/2025: Stasera siamo venuti io e mia moglie senza prenotare, il titolare gentilissimo ci ha detto di aspettare una mezz’ora. Esattamente dopo mezz’ora ci ha portati al tavolo che aveva fatto preparare appositamente per noi… Ottima frittura di pesce e pizze super….. Sicuramente ci ritornerò e invito tutti ad andarci

27/07/2025: Last night after dinner, I went to this place for the first time with my friends. I had a great time. We sat on the sofas, which were free, and enjoyed the location. The girl who served us was very kind and helpful. I ordered a cocktail called "Viola," which was really good, and I accompanied it with cream-filled zeppole, which were also very good. We didn't particularly like the macarons, but that didn't ruin our post-dinner experience.

27/07/2025: Gentlemen....you have to take into account that, even if you sit down and don't consume anything...they make you pay for the "cover charge"... 1 euro per person...after all, someone has to pay for the roof, right?...in fact it was packed with people...ridiculous
