23/09/2024: I went for a quiet dinner based on meat, we had taken quite a bit of mixed livers as well as sausage and bombette but when the meat arrived I realized that they had removed quite a bit of livers. Divided by two they were actually counted, I felt robbed at the moment of the bill, which on top of that they had also counted a large bottle of beer instead of a small one, rather than saying goodbye to never seeing each other again...WATCH OUT!

24/08/2024: Truly a surprise. Kindness, courtesy in the service and attention, and the meat and specialties from Itria are really good. Back for the pizza which looks delicious😍😍

18/10/2024: Scrivo questa recensione a distanza di tempo. Concordo il mio matrimonio con 40 invitati, organizzato tutto con ogni minimo dettaglio, con partecipazioni già consegnate, ma a 20 gg dal nostro matrimonio mi contattano dicendomi che la gestione era cambiata e di conseguenza il prezzo concordato sarebbe cambiato ma soprattutto mi sarei dovuta occupare io del tovagliato e avrei dovuto condividere la location con altri commensali. Senza parole. Non aggiungo altro.

18/09/2024: I had dinner with my friends in this enchanting place a couple of weeks ago. It was a very pleasant multi-sensory experience: from the naturalistic beauty that surrounded us, expertly enhanced from the point of view of decor and furnishings, to the truly excellent hospitality, to the authenticity and goodness of the dishes. They generated a flashback to childhood memories in me. An intimate and familiar place. We will be back soon!

03/05/2025: An obligatory stop in San Pietro in Bevagna! We returned to this historic pizzeria after a long time and meeting Cristian again, always with the enthusiasm of the past, was truly a pleasure. The mother, with her friendliness, continues to proudly tell the family story, making the experience even more authentic and warm. The pizza remained as excellent as we remembered, the service was fast and friendly. The environment, clean and now downsized, retains the typical quality of the seaside place!

06/09/2024: A very welcoming place, very helpful and friendly owners with experience. Excellent food.. definitely if you pass by Avetrana you must come and taste their homemade panzerotto and puccia 😊

17/05/2025: I tried the ice cream and the pasticcioto, I found the ice cream bland, nothing exceptional, but the pasticcioto a shame, I tried several flavors it hurt my heart, one was hard as a stone the other had a cream that looked like plastic, the third had chemical jam, in all a real disaster and it is unworthy of an Italian business that sells a specialty of the region. If a product is not good for sale it must be withdrawn. As for the behavior of the waiters, we did not have bad manners but we observed abnormal manners with other customers. I do not recommend this place.

03/01/2025: Chose this bar for a coffee after lunch… Bad experience… We had a coffee, an espresso and two small pastries…. Expressino ok Good pastries (fortunately as they are paid for in gold) Coffee on the other hand BAD.... I asked the bartender if she had turned on the machine recently and she said yes and that she was sorry for me that I was drinking it…. In the end I even paid for it.... Rejected….

06/05/2025: I got a takeaway Tarantina pizza. I had never ordered from this pizzeria but I can guarantee you that it was incredibly good. I also called back to say compliments.

10/05/2025: Bad evening between dishes that didn't arrive and several requests for dishes that they didn't have on a Friday evening. The cut was stringy... unfortunately we won't be back again

24/12/2024: I came to this place on Christmas Eve to have an aperitif with friends. The disorganization, inexperience and lack of professionalism of the employees immediately emerged. The very evident note was seeing them drinking continuously while preparing the hot aperitif while another was smoking an electronic cigarette. We asked for two platters because other friends had joined but it never arrived. At the time of the bill (as on other occasions when we were there) they were busy making tik-tok style videos... we asked to see the "receipt" because they didn't have the pre-bill and they had added some spritzes and an aperitif more (for a total of +70 euros) which we had eliminated after insisting. Honestly, we won't be returning to this place and I'm sorry to have to give a negative review.

20/11/2024: Good evening, unfortunately I didn't have the chance to try the food, but seeing their rudeness definitely did. A friend of mine and I went to the place because, due to my friend's needs, we were desperately looking for a place that could provide us with a bathroom in this case. We certainly know that as long as consummation doesn't happen, it's difficult for anyone to allow it, but never in my life has anything like this happened to me. We asked if it was possible to use the bathroom and faced with an affirmative answer from an employee, we began to advance towards the bathroom, to the employee's repeated response. Then, I presume it was the owner, the latter addressed us in an absolutely rude manner asking us what we wanted, we also asked her if it was possible to use the bathroom (no one expected the service, but as is usually done it is enough to ask). At that point, in response, the owner tells us that "no, it's only for customers", nothing wrong if it weren't for the tone and for having subsequently chased us out of the place like thieves, although to her no, our response was still a simple "ah okay, sorry". We went to another place and ate after the swim, one thing is certain, I was very curious to try the place because I didn't know it, but in no other place have they ever accompanied me to the exit, pointing it out to me among other things, treating me like a criminal, so I don't think it will be worth trying the food considering the unpleasant environment.

03/03/2025: La location è stupenda, ma dovrebbero curare di più la gestione del personale ed i cibi. Davvero un peccato che una struttura come quella delle Vele debba avere un punteggio così basso. Se fossi io il gestore, farei salti mortali pur di aggiungere almeno un pallino verde alle valutazioni

14/05/2025: Stay Away – This Place is a National Embarrassment Let’s get one thing straight: having a bar or “gelateria” in a charming Pugliese piazza doesn’t automatically give you the right to serve mediocrity wrapped in attitude. This place is the perfect example of a lazy business model banking entirely on location and clueless tourists. The food? Barely edible, when it's even available. Burnt crêpes, industrial “granita,” and ice cream that would be a disgrace even at a gas station freezer aisle. Hair in the dough. Orders forgotten. Ingredients “unavailable.” Three staff members, three tables, and still no service. It’s not even understaffed—it’s uninterested. The staff? Rude, annoyed, passive-aggressive. If you're lucky, you’ll be ignored. If you're not, you'll be treated like you’re bothering them by daring to order. Don’t expect courtesy, don’t expect quality, and for God’s sake, don’t reasonable prices. This place is run by people who believe that being in Puglia is enough. That tourists will always come, that locals will just "deal with it," and that service and quality are optional. This isn’t a café—it’s a trap. An insult to Apulian hospitality. A black hole where good taste, decency, and customer respect go to die. Locals, tourists, anyone with a shred of dignity: avoid this place like the plague.

14/05/2025: The place, although small, was very welcoming, the staff was super kind and welcoming and the service was very fast. The food was delicious. The girls who served me, Giusy and Serena, were super sweet and super helpful.

05/04/2025: Accoglienza calorosa da parte del titolare Francesco, che ti fa sentire subito a casa, e servizio impeccabile di Simone, professionale e attento in ogni dettaglio. I frutti di mare sono stati un vero spettacolo: freschissimi, di qualità eccellente, preparati con cura: il mare a tavola! Dopo aver provato tanti ristoranti di pesce a Taranto, posso dire che questo è il migliore. Consigliatissimo per chi cerca gusto, qualità e un’atmosfera familiare.

02/03/2025: Sono soddisfatta di questo pranzo in famiglia .Cibo di ottima qualità,pesce fresco e cucinato bene,leggero e saporito allo stesso tempo.Zero tempi di attesa,personale cordiale e servizio veloce.Location accogliente e pulita.Qualita'/prezzo, ottima. Antipasto,primo,secondo bibite, caffè sorbetto ....38 € a testa.Consigliato!!!!!

29/12/2024: Se io ti dico di portarmi una bistecca intera e non a straccetti, lo devi fare punto e basta! E se ti dico che nell'insalata voglio anche dei pomodori, IDEM come prima!
