02/06/2026: Not a good experience. Supermarket ravioli, rather muddled flavors that have little of the "old world" about them. Fried seafood was acceptable. The house rosé wine was sweetish... What can I say, a disappointment! N.B. Prices are low, but that doesn't justify...

02/05/2026: A place with heart and substance. Everything else is boring. The food was delicious, and the staff worked hard to make you feel good. The atmosphere is historic and rustic, just the right amount.

16/05/2026: It would be better to better explain the weights, cuts, and final costs before the bill. I spent approximately €270 at the butcher's counter for a beef entrecote at €8.50 per 100g and a Spanish wagyu steak at €18 per 100g. The quality is excellent, but there should be more clarity, because someone faced with the choice has no idea how much that cut actually weighs. So, specifying at the time of cutting the meat how much you'd spend would be entirely more appropriate! It could also have been suggested that that piece of meat would be good for two people. I understand that you have to work and sell, but everything has its limits. So, having said that, we spent €340 for two people—I say two because my son ordered a simple cutlet for €14. We also paid €1 for ketchup! In 2026, it's unthinkable that a family could spend that much for a simple Saturday night dinner! First time and never again!

17/12/2025: Lunch here was a regular stop when we were in the area on weekdays (since on holidays you have to book well in advance). Unfortunately, yesterday it didn't go very well... (Did the chef change?) The appetizers were prepared who knows how long ago, even the seafood linguine was nothing like the ones we've had the other times, the grilled vegetables were burnt, the fish was the same story, only the calamari was okay, the shrimp contained sand, the swordfish (Oceanico) tasted old. The black truffle tasted only of ice. And a stomach ache... We were hungry and we gulped down the ceca, we were actually asked at the cashier how it had gone, but to avoid controversy, we paid and left because we didn't want to ruin our day. Obviously we won't be back again.

14/12/2025: The appetizers were okay, but the mussels...sorry, I know a lot about fish...and they were dirty, salty, inedible. The waiters were very unfriendly. The pasta with the lentils was okay, but very salty. In the end, the owner didn't charge for the mussels. But no thanks. There are much better places in Italy to eat fresh fish.

26/04/2026: Lunch on April 25th, so a fixed menu (I don't know if this is how it usually works). Relatively quick service, informal atmosphere. The dishes didn't particularly impress me. I found the quality of the cured meats (capocollo and salami) very good, but the cheeses were less so (tasteless mozzarella, for example). The pizzaiola-style meatballs were quite tough, difficult to cut with a knife, and it was even hard to tell they were pizzaiola-style! The single-serving potato dishes here, however, were more flavorful. The first courses were decent, generous enough, both for the trofie with pistachio pesto, pancetta, and bacon, and the orecchiette with cherry tomatoes, dates, or cheese. The second course, featuring a mixed roast, consisting of sausage, pancetta, and breaded bombette, was a bit disappointing and not particularly flavorful. The jam tart, which seemed to be one of those pre-packaged supermarket ones. Overall, a full 5. I don't think I'll go back.

06/04/2026: The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, the food is excellent, the authentic flavors of family-run Mediterranean cuisine, and the portions are generous. It's a real joy to return!

02/06/2026: We came across it by chance, on the way back. We didn't want to take the car, since it was the feast of San Cataldo. We knew perfectly well that we wouldn't find parking on the way back, so we decided to go in... the location is beautiful, clean, the meat counter makes your mouth water just looking at it 🤪 anyway, the meat arrived with a really short wait time, and it was exceptional, it melted in your mouth, very good, tasty, the grilled vegetables done to perfection accompanied by the delicious warm bread seasoned with a drizzle of oil. The waiters are very attentive to the needs of the customers, I recommend the mandarin sorbet 🍊 delicious, I will definitely return 😍
