24/08/2025: I've never had a business owner refuse to seat me, even though we'd said we'd wait to get a seat because there wasn't enough room. A table was about to become available, and the very customers who were supposed to give up their seats were shocked by the owner's response. Rude to the max, arrogant and presumptuous. There were eight of us; not only did they lose a potentially inviting table, but there was no valid reason why we shouldn't be seated.

27/09/2025: Excellent pizza, but avoid weekends if possible because it's super crowded and the wait for service can be long. Friendly and helpful staff.

23/08/2025: The location Is ok but not exactly in the center . The food is delicious and the quantity of the food was ok, but the fact that the place is called B&B and DOESN'T INCLUDE BREAKFAST is insane, because the price I payed for 2 nights was 138€! It's far expensive for rooms that didn't have AC, the bathroom tap was blocked and the restaurant being "TRATTORIA " which is supposed to have adequate prices, was overpriced, I payed 50 € for three dishes and water. Definitely not coming back. And there is no safe parking as it's described on the site

10/09/2025: Beautiful location, especially the outdoor area...the view is stunning! The indoor dining room is small but welcoming. The service is young and helpful. I would have expected a wider selection of typical Monte Sant'Angelo dishes, as the mountain cuisine is top-notch! The wine list is also very comprehensive.

07/09/2025: Truly a "divine" spot! 5/5 with honors!! The welcome and service were polite and friendly. A welcoming smile. The platter (cured meats, cheeses, and two types of bread) was excellent; the wine was excellent (I tasted an excellent Susumaniello red). The atmosphere was elegant, and even though it's on the street (closed to traffic), the manager had created elegant and refined tables, in keeping with the restaurant's offerings. The bill was more than fair!

23/08/2025: History repeats itself: the pizza is good, and tasty too, with fresh ingredients. The only serious problem is the overly disorganized service, there's too much of a wait. To improve, you should have some waiters who take orders at the table and then bring them, otherwise it's a nuisance... you could easily give the job to three or four girls/boys...

05/09/2025: We went to Fra Stefano in Peschici, drawn by the reviews and the idea of ​​trying the catch of the day, which the waiter had also suggested when we ordered. When we asked for more specific information, the waiter seemed hesitant and after a while returned, saying it couldn't be served because the oven was broken. So far, so understandable... except that shortly afterward, we saw the catch of the day being served at the table next to us, when miraculously the oven started working again. (Perhaps because the customer, in our opinion, wasn't a tourist but a local?) In the end, we were forced to opt for pan-fried sea bass for the modest sum of €20, but there was only a quarter of a half of a sea bass. This episode left us perplexed and disappointed. The rest of the meal was decent; I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

22/08/2025: My experience wasn't very positive, and I'm sorry to only give it two stars because the location and the quality of the food are definitely worth much more. That said, there was only one problem...the rush we took in choosing our dishes, especially when we decided to order main courses. We weren't given a choice because the maître d' was already ready to take our order. You can imagine the dessert selection. I'm guessing there was some event that evening, otherwise there's no explanation for the rush...I think we'll be hard pressed to see each other again.

20/08/2025: These are the kind of things that don't happen by chance when visiting the Basilica of San Michele Arcangelo... a heavenly welcome with a smile, an inexplicably half-empty place, and a cuisine that for me (accustomed to embassy receptions) was divine in its balance and presentation. EXCELLENT is an understatement! Thank you so much.

31/07/2025: Se siete alla ricerca di una pizza che vi faccia sentire come a casa, La Buria è il posto giusto. La base della pizza è qualcosa di incredibile: sottile, quasi come quella che faceva mia nonna nel forno a legna. Non più di 1 cm di spessore, croccante al punto giusto, ma con quella morbidezza che solo una preparazione fatta con passione può dare. I profumi che si sprigionano appena arriva al tavolo ti riportano indietro nel tempo, a un'epoca in cui il cibo aveva un sapore autentico, semplice, ma incredibilmente buono. Anche gli ingredienti per il condimento sono scelti con cura, freschi e genuini, esaltano il gusto della pizza senza mai sopraffarlo. Ogni morso è una vera delizia, che sa di tradizione e di amore per la cucina. Se passate per Peschici, non lasciatevi scappare La Buria: è un’esperienza che va oltre il semplice mangiare, è un viaggio nei sapori e nei ricordi di una cucina che non ha paura di restare fedele alla propria storia.

27/07/2025: Siamo andati a cena in questo ristorante che ci è stato consigliato vivamente e devo dire che siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti. A partire dal servizio veloce e molto professionale, fino ad arrivare ai piatti a dir poco deliziosi. Abbiamo preso come antipasto da dividere in 2 le cozze ripiene ed erano buonissime, a seguire due spaghetti con le vongole, forse i più buoni mai mangiati, accompagnati con una bottiglia di vino bianco (si può scegliere tra bottiglia grande e piccola, ottima cosa per chi non beve troppo vino come noi) e per finire due sorbetti al limone e due amari che ci sono stati gentilmente offerti dalla casa. Che dire, la cena migliore della vacanza! I prezzi sono leggermente più alti di altri posti ma è giustificato dalla qualità alta dei piatti (abbiamo dato un occhio alle pizze e avevano dei prezzi nella media). Sicuramente ci torneremo!

04/09/2025: A rustic location where you can glimpse details that hark back to the restaurant's origins and history. The quality of the food is excellent! The pizza has excellent leavening and was appreciated even by those with sensitive diets, not only thanks to the freshness of the ingredients but above all to the professionalism of the pizza chef (who shared his experience with us). We also enjoyed the home-grown meat: tender and tasty. The service was attentive, discreet, and very kind. We'll be back as soon as we have the chance!

14/08/2025: Amazing. Forget all the bad reviews from yrs ago, this was excellent in every way. Attentive service, great food and a lovely atmosphere. We spent 2 hrs here and it was a really short walk to our motorhome in the sosta. I highly recommend a meal here. By the time we left it was buzzing. I would definitely visit again if in the area. 😋

21/09/2025: We were a group of 15, and once we arrived, they told us they couldn't make a round pizza for everyone because there were too many of us, and we'd have to order pizza by the meter. Even though we actually ordered the pizza they recommended, we waited over an hour and ate at different times. After asking for a knife, they told me they didn't have any left because everyone was washing. I wouldn't recommend it, even though the pizza is good.

29/08/2025: Authentic cuisine from days gone by. Both the appetizers and dinner were truly spectacular. They reminded us of the intense flavor of our grandmother's ragù and the authenticity of a cuisine bursting with simplicity.

21/04/2025: We came across the place out of pure curiosity, risking the success of the baptism which we thought we would celebrate in a new place "for a change"....and we did very well. Intimate and private place where we ate magnificently; we requested fish, meat, baby and vegetarian menus and none of them disappointed us. All the guests enjoyed it and no one had any complaints about anything because we were satisfied with everything; from the cushion to improve the seat due to health problems to the hairdryer to dry a little girl who made herself a water balloon with soap bubble water and all served by Mr. Michele, in the presence of his wife, who turned out to be kind, welcoming and companionable people with whom to share and also express personal life stories. My guests and I will definitely be back
