16/09/2025: Excellent baker, with typical local products. It's a shame it's not always open (after mid-September I found it closed on both Mondays and Tuesdays. I'll try again in the following days. I found it open on Sundays.

24/09/2025: Wonderful family-run restaurant, open only during the season. Fantastic food at very reasonable prices – I especially recommend the Puglian specialties such as the peppered mussels! Friendly, multilingual service and a truly delightful setting. Highly recommended.

04/11/2025: This is a fine B&B with a pool, but nothing more than that. Absolutely not a "resort" (that's completely overselling it) and certainly not a hotel. After 1 p.m., there's no one around, no life, and this until 10-11 p.m., when guests trickle back in from their day trips. No manned reception, no cozy bar, no restaurant. Only rooms with breakfast, albeit including excellent breakfast service from the two ladies! We had to sleep in our same sheets for seven days, and no sheets were changed. All in all, "correct," but not the promised highlight as advertised. The location is very quiet: when we arrived at 8:15 p.m., it was completely dark, and we even drove right past it, looking for the entrance (the discreet, closed black gate). Centrally located for excursions in Puglia.

26/10/2025: A magnificent stay in a magical place with a splendid view and attentive staff; we felt right at home. We would like to thank Michel, who was extremely kind and professional throughout our stay. He even prepared breakfast for us very early because we had a plane. I recommend this hotel.

28/12/2025: Tough meat. Check for hair before serving. Mussels aren't fresh and need cleaning better. Waiters are too hurried. Remove unavailable dishes from the menu. I won't be returning. From your response, you're not serious and would have accepted the criticism constructively. So I'll do my best to create bad publicity.

21/12/2025: We booked a last-minute Sunday lunch...what can I say? The food was in keeping with the area, well-made, and plentiful. We really appreciated the efficient and friendly service from all the staff. Our table was a bit cramped, but the place was packed, and it was a last-minute reservation on a Sunday. We were offered a fixed menu with drinks included at a very fair price. We'll definitely return during the week and try the à la carte dishes. Thanks, and see you next time!

14/03/2026: We visited just before the afternoon break (siesta) and had a wonderful time. The atmosphere is very pleasant and welcoming. The prices are quite reasonable for such quality. A lovely touch was the chef coming out to our table several times to personally ask if we enjoyed our meal. Highly recommended for an authentic local vibe!

08/12/2025: Typical Apulian cuisine, authentic flavors, and high-quality products. Excellent service from the owner, Angela, and extremely talented chef, her husband, Stefano. After a lovely stroll through the alleys of Ostuni, Lo Spessite is ideal for a meal that reflects the true essence of Puglia. Highly recommended.

19/08/2025: I went to this place with a couple of friends for our summer vacation. It was a delightful discovery. The service was excellent, courteous, and flawless. The food was simply fantastic, and perhaps that's an understatement. You feel like you're at grandma's house, from the appetizers to the main courses. Nina is fantastic. If I ever pass through here, I'll definitely be back. I highly recommend them. They're excellent.
