The owner is the brother of the same family (friendly, welcoming), the hostess is an excellent "mother in the kitchen," and her daughter is extremely helpful and kind. A family-friendly and peaceful atmosphere! I hope I can always find a seat when I need it.

24/12/2025: Excellent bakery in Ostuni, I went there this morning to buy traditional bread, I found what I was looking for at a very reasonable price, 1 kg of durum wheat bread €3.50, 1 kg of wholemeal bread €3.50, excellent, in a very comfortable environment, very helpful in explaining the product, recommended.

The experience flows seamlessly, with each course presented like a work of art that respects the region’s heritage while pushing it forward. A special mention must go to Pastry Chef Giuseppe, whose desserts are nothing less than masterpieces. His creations are light yet decadent, imaginative yet deeply comforting — the perfect finale to an already remarkable meal. Cielo at La Sommità is a jewel of Puglia, and without question, worthy of a Michelin star.

08/08/2025: Good experience. Service could be improved, though friendly. The food is imaginative, perhaps more on paper than on the palate.

20/05/2026: A very basic place, unpretentious but authentic. It only serves appetizers and pizzas. The appetizers are excellent and very reasonably priced. The appetizers aren't as generous as those you'd typically find in the area, so they're best paired with pizza. We didn't order them, but looking at the tables next to them, it looked good. We were happy, and will definitely return.

14/05/2026: A place that endures and retains its authenticity. Excellent, authentic appetizers, just like the ones my grandmother used to make. The staff is truly kind, friendly, and genuine. The quality is top-notch because it's homey. The atmosphere isn't fancy, but it's wonderful precisely because it's so authentic, making it special. There used to be so many places that made you feel at home, and I almost didn't appreciate them, but now that everything is so commercially driven and I miss my grandmother, I think this place is a rare gem worth preserving.

21/05/2026: I've been there again. I remember everything was good. But this time, we booked a week ago, a few hours before dinner, and they called us saying they weren't open today because I have few reservations... We had to cancel because they weren't reliable.

Last time, however, I was hit with a price shock, having paid 10 euros for bresaola, parmesan, and white arugula (so not an add-on, but a reduction)!!! That's practically the price of a gourmet pizza. Honestly, I was shocked, but I have no complaints about the pizza. In my opinion, you shouldn't charge for reductions, but rather for additions. 10 euros for a pizza in Francavilla is a lot, in my opinion. We're not in Milan, and besides, they're also local. Take this advice because otherwise, you risk people going elsewhere. Obviously, each place does what it wants.

04/05/2026: A truly pleasant café, ideal for both a quick breakfast and a more relaxed break during the day. The place is clean, tidy, and has a very pleasant atmosphere. I particularly appreciated the courtesy of the staff and the quality of the products, all fresh and well-prepared. Quick service and fair prices.

24/11/2025: 1. There was nothing to eat, no hot chocolate, and I don't have any bitter ginseng, not even muffins. 2. The coffee was bad, it was watery. 3. The waitress snorted at us when we asked, "So what do you have?" because the table was dirty and there was no menu.
