05/05/2026: The "scrocchiarella" pizza is very good, the staff is very friendly, but the atmosphere is a bit chaotic (not the owners' fault, but the customers'...).
Reservations are recommended, but almost mandatory, given the crowds.
10/04/2026: Excellent pizzeria in Francavilla Fontana: the place is very well-kept and aesthetically pleasing. The prices are average, and the pizza is truly delicious. The staff is kind and friendly. We'll definitely be back!

13/05/2026: So, yes, we sit down. I understand that time passes slowly here. We wait patiently, and after a while, we ask the waiter for a menu, which was a mistake. From then on, he ignores us, serving others who arrived much later. Any attempts to ask for a menu are met with a huff and a squeal. After another long moment, the young waiter is clearly nursing his insecurities because he's not going to bother with a tourist. Unfortunately, our patience has run out; we'll eat elsewhere. And I salute the waiter with a complex. Just read my hundreds of reviews from around the world. I travel professionally and try not to leave negative reviews, but not this time.

11/11/2025: Very good pizza, very small parking lot! Several aspects could be improved. Saturdays are definitely too crowded, partly due to takeout.
26/10/2025: We had a table at 9:30 PM. We ordered at 10:15 PM. After that, the fried food arrived first, after twenty minutes, and then we ordered drinks, as they hadn't arrived yet. The pizzas arrived at 11:30 PM. There was no staff, slow service, and the dining room was uncovered, so we left the pizzeria at midnight. We won't be coming back.

07/05/2026: The appetizers were generous. We had pizza and pasta, which were very fresh and delicious. Anthonio speaks a little French, which made it easier to get menu recommendations. The friendliness, service, and welcome were all excellent. We had a wonderful time!
03/05/2026: I visited Alta Marea Lab in Villanova (Ostuni) and unfortunately had a disappointing experience.
I ordered an Angus tagliata, expecting the classic preparation: a whole cut of Angus beef cooked properly and sliced into even pieces. Instead, it was served as small, irregular strips, more like “straccetti,” with no proper presentation and not representative of what a tagliata should be. Having traveled extensively, this is the first time I’ve seen it served this way.
Overall, disappointing. The ingredients may have potential, but they are not handled or presented with the care you would expect.

24/12/2025: Excellent bakery in Ostuni, I went there this morning to buy traditional bread, I found what I was looking for at a very reasonable price, 1 kg of durum wheat bread €3.50, 1 kg of wholemeal bread €3.50, excellent, in a very comfortable environment, very helpful in explaining the product, recommended.
14/12/2025: A dive into the past, a real old bakery. Delicious pastries and excellent bread. I recommend it, a must-see.

11/02/2026: I had stayed in Ceglie for three nights, and I tried some trop 5 restaurants based on Tripadvisor for the first two days, they were all nice. I came to this restaurant by chance on my third night, but after trying the food, I regretted that I hadn’t discovered it earlier. It is the best of my 3 days journey in this area. The menu is very interesting. There are something you don’t normally find elsewhere, such as donkey stew. The assorted starters are amazing, very general portion and 90% are freshly cooked. The arancini is the best I have ever had, outside is crispy, inside is very light. I am not a big arancini fan, but the one I has here is fantastic.

24/04/2026: A welcoming location, characterized by charming stone arches and a great atmosphere enhanced by pleasant, soft lighting. The quality of the ingredients is good: I found the chips excellent and enjoyed both the chicken tagliata and the bombette.
However, the experience was marred by the excessive noise, which made conversation almost impossible. Another sore point was the inability to choose the meat directly at the counter. The staff was inefficient and distracted, almost lost in their own world and inattentive to customer requests. Finally, despite repeatedly stressing the need for takeout due to an excessive order, this was not honored. For these reasons, I can't give more than three stars.
25/03/2026: Dinner was excellent! Besides the charming setting and welcoming service, the dishes were exquisite and reasonably priced. Many compliments!

20/05/2026: A very basic place, unpretentious but authentic. It only serves appetizers and pizzas. The appetizers are excellent and very reasonably priced. The appetizers aren't as generous as those you'd typically find in the area, so they're best paired with pizza. We didn't order them, but looking at the tables next to them, it looked good. We were happy, and will definitely return.
14/05/2026: A place that endures and retains its authenticity. Excellent, authentic appetizers, just like the ones my grandmother used to make. The staff is truly kind, friendly, and genuine. The quality is top-notch because it's homey.
The atmosphere isn't fancy, but it's wonderful precisely because it's so authentic, making it special. There used to be so many places that made you feel at home, and I almost didn't appreciate them, but now that everything is so commercially driven and I miss my grandmother, I think this place is a rare gem worth preserving.

17/08/2025: Nothing to complain about the location; it's cute and informal, but this place, even though it's desolate, has its charm. The meat is very good, and the prices are average for the quantity and quality. The only flaw is the €13 grilled meat, which is paltry in its composition. It's listed as weighing about 400 grams. The capocollo, which wasn't there, must have been a maximum of 150 grams cooked and compensated for by adding a mini-bombetta and a sausage. I'd recommend revising it and making it more substantial. As for the side dishes, the quality/price ratio is exceptional.
15/08/2025: I'm a meat lover, so I wasn't familiar with this place. It was a great surprise. I like the location, it's pleasant. The staff is very friendly, and the food is divine. Finally, a place with zero food miles.
The only downside? They'll close in August and reopen in October. I think they could definitely stay open until the end of September.
A place worth trying, highly recommended.

27/10/2025: We celebrated my son's graduation today....what can I say? Aldo, the exceptional owner, welcomed us, listened to us, and fulfilled our every request. The food was excellent and high-quality, prepared with that special touch that never hurts. Everything was excellent and plentiful. We will definitely be back.
