17/08/2025: The evening was ruined by terrible service, to say the least. We were served by an embarrassing waiter who kept making unpleasant and meaningless jokes. He started by telling us that the octopus was out and that he obviously had nothing to do with it and therefore didn't want to make a fool of himself. When we asked for missing cutlery and glasses, he always responded arrogantly. The professionalism was absolutely zero. The cuisine was mediocre. We ordered four plates of grilled picanha, and more than half of it was greasy. I'm very sorry, but I absolutely do not recommend this place.

23/08/2025: A Ceglie landmark for hospitality and authenticity.

20/08/2025: My husband and I arrived in Ceglie Messapica around 2:30 PM after a long journey, wandering through the town tired and hungry as wolves, but luckily we found this delightful little place still open. Despite the late hour, the owners kindly seated us and served us a tasty mix of local cured meats and cheeses, as well as a selection of delicious vegetables in oil prepared by them, all washed down with an excellent Rebo. Excellent quality ingredients, flavors that express the full spirit of Puglia, and we will never forget the genuine courtesy with which we were welcomed. Absolutely fair prices. A place to keep in mind for a return visit.

28/12/2025: Unfortunately, the restaurant was not a good decision. If you want simple, local food, don't come here! The restaurant itself is cozy, although the plastic chairs are cold. The music was screaming. The service was normal. The dishes were overcooked, and on top of that, both pastas were very salty.

18/01/2026: I've been there twice. The first time I only had tartare and carpaccio, and they were fabulous. We even had a scorpion fish filleted fresh from the fishing boat—it was summer. The second time, I wasn't entirely satisfied. I had a raw dish with rotten mussels. A first course (pictured) that tasted like nothing in the dish. I don't think I'll be back.

30/08/2025: Finally, a shop for those with intolerances, with pasticciotti and many other amazing products! The cream and Nutella pasticciotti are truly lactose-free! Highly recommended!

25/08/2025: The pizzas are good, but I think it's important to point out that ketogenic dough requires a specific phone call. We specified that we were diabetic, but that wasn't enough, and we found ourselves in an awkward situation at dinnertime. Fortunately, the staff was able to source a base. The wait is a bit long, but the dough is very good, even the keto one, which contains a total of 4 carbohydrates. Cereal-based and gluten-free bases are also available (with a dedicated oven).

28/11/2025: A gem in Carovigno. Hospitable service, delicious meats from their own butcher shop. Enjoyed incredibly delicious food and drinks among the locals at a very reasonable price. If you're looking for the true Italian Puglia experience, you should definitely eat here!

02/09/2025: Excellent food at more than fair prices. There was a small mixup when they lost the order, but as soon as they realized it, they made up for it. Kudos to the guy grilling, a true professional. If you're in the area, give him a try.

19/06/2025: Excellent pastry shop... the bignolate are spectacular... kindness, professionalism and good quality/price... The Bar for a good sweet breakfast is at everyone's service, but also for a good cocktail it is no less. I recommend it to everyone

05/08/2025: Exceptional bakery in Cisternino, with oil, akua, semolina, in short all types of bread that in the trullo last between 5 and 7 days (in Milan bread now costs a fortune and it disappears WHILE YOU GO TO HOUSE!!!). KAIMANO!!

04/01/2026: Our phone order was crystal clear: two pizzas and a portion of fried food, pickup at 9:00 PM. We arrived right on time and found ourselves in an embarrassing situation: an interminable line inside and out, a packed dining room. When we got to the counter, they wanted to charge us the wrong amount. We pointed out the mistake and discovered they'd only listed one pizza instead of two. After checking out the bill, we asked how long the wait would be; the answer was that they couldn't tell us because they couldn't communicate with the kitchen. Surreal. Result: a full hour on our feet, from 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM. When they finally called our name... only one pizza and the fried food. The mistake again. Even though we'd paid for two pizzas. The second pizza was remade on the spot, with another 15–20 minutes of waiting, for a total of about an hour and a half. As if that weren't enough, we ordered two beers and were charged €5, without the slightest apology or attention after all the inconvenience. When we got home (we also live nearby), the pizzas were cold, soggy, and tasted like they were made yesterday. We had to put them back in the oven to eat them. Unworthy service, terrible quality, non-existent organization, zero respect for the customer. Absolutely not recommended.

11/11/2025: Very good pizza, very small parking lot! Several aspects could be improved. Saturdays are definitely too crowded, partly due to takeout.

26/10/2025: We had a table at 9:30 PM. We ordered at 10:15 PM. After that, the fried food arrived first, after twenty minutes, and then we ordered drinks, as they hadn't arrived yet. The pizzas arrived at 11:30 PM. There was no staff, slow service, and the dining room was uncovered, so we left the pizzeria at midnight. We won't be coming back.

08/10/2025: Teo is not only a great friend, but also a true old-school professional! Kind, helpful, and friendly. The pizza is always excellent, and the delivery service is always quick and courteous! Highly recommended.
