Peter Pan In Carovigno

24/09/2023: Sono venuto a pranzo in questa incantevole masseria per festeggiare i 50 anni di matrimonio dei miei cognati. Vi sono stato più volte, tanto che mi sento quasi a casa in questo luogo fantastico e romantico. Ogni volta che vi ritorno, noto con piacere che si arricchisce di altre suggestive amenità come la bellissima piscina tra gli ulivi secolari, in attività da un paio d'anni. Come tradizione il cibo è eccellente, confezionato solo con prodotti biologici della terra pugliese, sapientemente presentati dalle abilissime cuoche. Il menù è vario a seconda delle stagioni. Il personale è cortese e professionale e, come ciliegina sulla torta, farete conoscenza con il simpaticissimo proprietario Armando che vi condurrà alla scoperta dei luoghi più suggestivi della masseria, narrando i fatti storici e divertenti del luogo, trasportandovi così in un romantico e incantato mondo che fu. Esperienza da vivere assolutamente.

27/07/2023: We booked a privilege suite and are glad we did. The room was very big, very interestingly decorated, with a separate bath room ( with shiwer) , plus a large bath in a separate area. We had the room called Calle. The wifi is good the beds are fine ( firm of course), the aircon is strong and the service is wonderful. The breakfast room is very interesting with a good menu which you select the evening before. Dinner in the open courtyard area between the main building and the breakfast room is a must. The food is very very good ( their restaurant has earned a Michelin star from time to time over a number of years). We had the 8 course degustation menu including wine ( Euro80 per person) which was astoundingly good. The masseria has a nice pool area where it was good to relax after the heat of a day at the beach. The place is about 10 minutes max from Ostuni and about half an hour from some good beach areas. Definitely a great location for a few days stay.
