On the first day, access was literally blocked by a dense, cheerful Italian crowd, patiently waiting or enjoying their focaccia in a wonderful atmosphere… despite the icy wind. We gave up.
The second day, exactly the same scenario. Another attempt, another failure.
What's the mystery?
On the third day, finally, we understood the reason for the crowds. The focaccia and the bread were simply exceptional. Of remarkable quality, they fully justified the wait: here, patience is richly rewarded.

A unique place that reeks of history and serves delicious food even during siesta, when all other restaurants are closed. A big plus for that! You can sit across from it, in the stone gateway, and still soak up the history while savoring a delicious pizza crust by the pound.

If you want a quick, delicious meal in the historic center, with local flavors, this is the place to be. You just need to be patient, as the line is usually long, but it's definitely worth it. Excellent focaccia with a wide variety of flavors and delicious.
