The portions were adequate and satisfying, but the quality of the food wasn't entirely convincing: some flavors could have been better crafted and enhanced (score: 3/5). The atmosphere has a rather dark feel, which risks making the place less welcoming than it could be. On the other hand, the service was positive: the staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive to customers (score: 4/5). Overall, this is a place with good potential, which could offer a much more enjoyable experience with small improvements to the cuisine and a few ambiance details.

13/07/2025: Fantastic! We dined outdoors, and for the first time in Altamura, I was able to enjoy everything I ordered without being disturbed by secondhand smoke of any kind, as they've created a non-smoking area outside as well. A great sign of civility from the manager, given that you can't rely on the common sense of those smoking at tables to disturb those eating, even if children are present. We hope many more will follow their example. Well done, well done, well done!

09/09/2025: Gioja Restaurant in Altamura: although a little out of the city center, it's definitely worth a visit. Impeccable cuisine, with chef Jacopo's experience reflected in every dish on the varied menu, packed with excellent fish and quality meat. Not to mention a vast selection of wines, a perfect match! Attentive and friendly service, with our very own Antonella winning us over with her masterful serving of the Milanese cutlet, sliced ​​and served to order. The presentation was so meticulous, it made your mouth water even before it was served. It's truly a feast for the eyes and the palate! A gastronomic experience worth repeating!

28/08/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant. I must say, it's a great location. It's certainly not gourmet food, but the first course was excellent, and the beef was tender and not stringy. Everything was served by a friendly waiter. What can I say? We'll be back.

13/08/2025: I went to this restaurant to greet a friend (thanks Gianni). I have to say it was a truly wonderful discovery. The atmosphere is spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The staff is kind and attentive. The food? I understand that they only serve local seafood here, and the dishes were well prepared and served. The wait? None, except for the time it takes for the order to be properly prepared. I highly recommend it!

25/08/2025: There are few places like this in Altamura. Service is average, a little slow. Beautiful industrial-style atmosphere, very well-kept and clean. Super good food. I'm talking about the burgers, a little smaller than in the past, but for the price, it's fair. I recommend it 100%! Go there! You won't regret it!

23/07/2025: Beautiful place, both inside and in the well-kept garden. Unfortunately, there's no wine list; only the waiter lists them but doesn't know the prices, so the bill is a surprise. The scampi first course I tried was disappointing—just two empty heads without the fruit, and I paid €16.00. The second courses were rather bland and the meat was a bit tough. The pizza was good.

The staff is quick and friendly and the menu offers an excellent variety of pizzas and other options. However, considering the high competition of pizzerias in Altamura and having tried many of them, I must admit that the taste of the pizza did not fully satisfy me. 02/06/2025: A total disaster. On Saturday night I ordered three pizzas via Just Eat, two of which were red vegetarian, and here was the first mistake: they were made white. I decided to ignore it, but what I saw afterwards was simply unacceptable. More than vegetarian pizzas: they were oil bombs with fried aubergines and courgettes on top, completely wrong and inedible. A nauseating, heavy, disgusting mix. Zero attention to the request, zero care in the ingredients. It almost seems like a joke: who thought that fried and greasy vegetables could represent a vegetarian pizza? A horrible experience from every point of view. Never again...to be avoided, they treat Just Eat customers like second-class customers as if our money is different...errare humanum est perseverare autem diabolicum. 03/08/2025: Il pane e la focaccia meravigliosa...unica pecca la signora che serviva !Le consiglio di alzarsi la mattina con il sorriso visto che è il biglietto da visita .... è importante anche l'accoglienza! Per il resto tutto meraviglioso,anche i prezzi molto onesti.

28/07/2025: Tanta pubblicità e poca serietà. Abbiamo prenotato e pagato una surprise bag to good to go e al momento del ritiro, ore 22:30, hanno detto che purtroppo non avevano più niente. ERA LA NOSTRA CENA!!!! Alla fine siamo dovuti andare in una pizzeria da sporto e dopo soli 15 minuti abbiamo finalmente gustato la nostra ottima pizza. UNA DELUSIONE!!!!
