24/08/2025: Varied and satisfying aperitif-dinner, excellent service, and reasonable prices. When it came to special food requests, the staff was knowledgeable and helpful. When it came time to pay... they were even complicit 😉

28/06/2025: Today I went to your bar, after a 40 minute journey, convinced that there was a chocolate braid but as soon as I entered I realized that it was not there. This gave me a sense of disgust and defeated disappointment. It upset me so much that I remained silent at my final exam, thus ruining my futile existence. I spent a turbulent afternoon in tears at the mere thought of this day, that said, thanks but not thanks. XOXO

23/10/2025: Truly local experience of an Italian trattoria run by a family. Simple dishes with high quality ingredients, reasonable prices, friendly service. Great pizza - the crust was just perfect, a bit on the crunchy side. Takeaway option available. They're open also off season, and usually busy with the locals. A top pick in Marina di Ginosa, if you're looking for an authentic culinary experience.

29/08/2025: The staff were rude, even though we didn't know we couldn't bring food into the pool. We were treated rudely and forced to eat whatever was on offer. They even told us that if we ate in the parking lot, they wouldn't let us back in. Not to mention the unsanitary conditions: the pool floors were covered in bird poop, and the place was too small, with a very small and shallow pool. An experience we absolutely won't repeat.

29/08/2025: Due to the rude and ill-mannered behavior of the owner, he even tried to force us to no longer enter the establishment if we went to the parking lot to eat a piece of focaccia. Because we had to consume from their overpriced bar. Their moral code forced us to stay in the establishment and not leave personally; it seemed to me that they held us against our will. (P.S. He came to check if we were eating in the parking lot.) Anyway, it was the first and last time. GOODBYE.

29/08/2025: In the remote countryside of the area, this unexpected restaurant. Good, fresh food, excellent mushrooms as an appetizer. Super-fair prices.

11/10/2025: Feels like home, tastes like home with some extra touch. Short menu but filled just with the things which should be there. Great additions are the bar, the cocktails and the friendly attitude.

04/10/2025: There aren't many seats, so reservations are recommended during high season. A simple yet elegant location on the ground floor of a historic building overlooking the square. The menu features both seafood and meat dishes. The simple vegetarian and cheese appetizers are also delicious, served with great care.

04/09/2025: Excellent vegan menu with a 10/10 frittatina and an arancini with ragù as an appetizer. The vegan Margherita was top-notch, reasonably priced, and made with good dough. We ended up in Galatina somewhat by chance, and this place was a lovely surprise. Well done!!

12/09/2025: Excellent raw seafood, a shame it was the only positive aspect of the dinner. In the two fried cuttlefish dishes we ordered, the cuttlefish had the consistency of a tire! The potatoes, like the aforementioned fried dishes, were made with used oil. As for the service, I note the chipped plates (all of them), the haste in clearing away the glasses we were still drinking from, and the lack of preparation by one of the wait staff, unaware of the contents of the dishes offered. I doubt we'll be back.

03/09/2025: I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by the food, excellent fried food, calamarata with cicadas, excellent, parmigiana, excellent, etc. etc. 5 stars deserved.

12/10/2025: We had a wonderful time here. The dough is homemade, and you can really taste the difference — both pizzas were absolutely delicious. The Vegetarian and the Buffalo pizzas were full of flavor, perfectly baked, and beautifully fresh. The Aperols were big, refreshing, and very well made. The only small thing that could make it even better would be to serve the Aperols in proper Aperol glasses instead of basic water glasses — but that’s just a minor detail. Overall, everything was excellent, and I’d definitely come back!

15/09/2025: Authentic and delicious. The server spoke French and gave us excellent advice. The fish was fresh and well-cooked, all at very reasonable prices.

10/09/2025: A family-run restaurant where attention to the cuisine, quality ingredients, and dishes are paramount. Salvatore, Giovanna, and Chef Germano are a spectacular trio who exude their love for what they do. We'll definitely be back.

06/08/2025: Honestly it was an incredible hotel, slightly lost in the middle of the olive groves to be quiet but at the same time next to Avetrana and 15 minutes from the beach, the location is perfect already. Rest assured dear reader because that is not the only good thing about this hotel 😍. Already the arrival after a long day of driving with super friendly staff, very attentive even, and especially a small arrival drink offered 🫣. The room is large, space, clean, full of local products like soaps for example, and above all it is cool in it, the dream with this heat 🥵. The swimming pool is just magnificent, not too crowded, with deckchairs by the water, small olive trees, we are really comfortable there and that is saying something 😎. The breakfasts are very very good, lots of choice with delicious and local products. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the cleaning ladies who were always very smiling and kind, the bar and restaurant staff and especially Laeticia, she gave us a lot of advice on things to visit which were all great, always attentive, and who gave us a superb wine and olive oil tasting, sharing all her knowledge with us, it was really good 😀. The best hotel in Italy by far I would say, go there without hesitation!!!!!
