26/09/2025: At this restaurant, located on the outskirts of Altamura, I enjoyed a culinary experience that highlights tradition and local ingredients. The menu draws inspiration from locally sourced and seasonal produce, offering dishes from the Murgia region prepared simply yet effectively. The appetizer served as an excellent overview of local flavors, with a selection ranging from classics like fried olives, eggplant parmigiana, and peppers, to more unusual combinations like friggitelli peppers with fava bean purée and farm cheese with apricot jam. Altamura bread meatballs and Venere rice with vegetables provided a touch of originality. The first course, homemade spaghetti, successfully combined the delicacy of wild fennel with the savory flavor of anchovies, all enhanced by a pleasant crunch of toasted almonds. The highlight of the evening, a Murgia lamb shank, was served with baked potatoes and raw barattieri, a combination that highlighted the quality of the meat. The dessert, finally, maintained its high standard: the ricotta and pear tart won over with its lightness, while the San Marzano cremolata with affogato provided an unusual and memorable finale.

10/09/2025: My mother in law and I had the pleasure of visiting this wonderful braceria in Ginosa, and I just have to share how fantastic it was, even if this review is late (so sorry)! The place specialises in a variety of meats, as other bracierie, but it was truly an unforgettable experience. I don’t think I have ever had any meat more delicious than what we had that night. The food was absolutely excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We came down from northern Italy, and the hospitality we received was just over the top. The hosts were incredibly kind, and when they found out how far we had traveled, they even gave us a little gift of home made biscuits (also very delicious) for the road! It was just that kind of personal touch that made us feel so at home. If you’re ever in Ginosa or Matera (where every place is fully booked and overpriced) and you love great meat selections and genuine hospitality, this is a must visit. Thanks to the entire family working there (and Anna Rosa in particular) for an experience we’re still talking about months later!

30/08/2025: We ate at this butcher's for the first time, expecting to eat well, but unfortunately, it turned out to be the OPPOSITE! The meat looked good, but it had an unpleasant aroma. The girls serving the food were also rude and unhelpful! They always said no to any questions or information! As soon as we got home, we felt, not bad, but terrible! Stomach pain and diarrhea. I strongly advise against this place!

30/10/2025: Excellent advice, attentive service (we received three dishes to share, served on two plates each, without even asking), top quality (the fish of the day was sea bream, filleted at the table). Very friendly staff.

08/10/2025: We'd been recommended to try the meat in the Itria Valley, and we finally got to try some excellent food here. The spicy breaded bombette with paprika are delicious. The sausages are also light and of excellent quality. The staff is welcoming, and the prices are fair for the quality. Excellent experience.

24/09/2025: I went to eat on Saturday evening with my cousin and her children, we had the fried food which was delicious like the ones our grandmothers used to make, the bruschetta was equally good and the mixed roast, everything was really excellent, the service was impeccable, the manager and the waiters were really kind... 16/08/2025: Excellent stay and top-notch hospitality. The room is equipped with every comfort, elegantly furnished, and includes a spacious hot tub. The location is strategically close to both the sea and Otranto (obviously, you'll need a car to get around). A generous breakfast is included, featuring fresh fruit from the estate. Highly recommended.
