Typical Salento restaurant with Carparo star vaults and very well-kept "chianche" flooring. Clean, tidy place, good service. The food respects tradition with the addition of some innovation. The appetizers and the "pignatu" horse meat were excellent, you could cut it with a fork. We will definitely be back.

Il locale molto semplice come una classica Trattoria con piatti tipici Il cibo è buono si sente il vero sapore delle cose semplici. Il personale molto carino e cordiale. Un antipasto per 2 , due tagliate di carne e un secondo con contorno, e un dolce abbiamo pagato 70 euro.

The restaurant is located in the historic center of the town, the atmosphere is typical of Salento and homemade, just like the cuisine with traditional flavours. The starters are good and mostly based on vegetable dishes. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The first "The Housewife's Maritati" was really tasty. We will definitely be back.

We've been there a couple of times and they seem to specialize in vegetable appetizers and pasta dishes. The atmosphere is nice and the service is friendly. We got the vegetable appetizers and they were excellent. In my opinion, the meatballs with sauce were too fine-grained and with too much cheese, so much so that the meatballs were too compact to take the sauce well... but I can't say that the flavor wasn't good. All the negative reviews I've seen seem unfounded... if not 5 stars, at least four. We will be back to try other dishes too. . Advised.

Golosità del Salento

27/03/2024: After a week at the seaside with my daughter we dedicated the last day to Lecce and I really didn't feel like going home without any Salento delicacies, so I ended up at Stefano's thanks to Google reviews and I'd say I did amazing... professionalism, friendliness and passion combine perfectly with the excellent products that Stefano offers you... the cave-matured caciocavallo is something exceptional as is the fresh burrata.... amazing taralli and frize and excellent wine, all it allowed me to make an excellent impression for my Salento aperitif, I haven't had the chance to taste the orecchiette yet but I'm sure that those will also meet the standards, the expense was not a small one in fact 😅 and the three bags I got taken by train to Genoa they put me to the test but.... it was worth it and I think I will go back to buying online. Obviously not recommended 😊
