24/01/2026: I'm disappointed... I've been having pizza at least once a week for years... but it's been disappointing for the last four weeks.
The pizza is thin, dry, and barely topped... and yet, until a month ago, it was lovely and soft, made on a pan, and full of oil... just like Pisan pizza!!! This time, it was impossible to eat... it was really dry... I hope, after the phone call to the pizzeria, things will go back to normal.
27/10/2025: The worst pizza I've ever tasted. Unfortunately, when there's a high demand, you work regardless, but in other places this pizza wouldn't be available. The dough is full of oil. It's not very leavened and it's high. The takeaway pizzas arrived cold. The prosciutto was baked in the oven and not added raw. If I'd wanted it cooked, I would have ordered it cooked. It's black and very salty. Congratulations. Next time, we'll get them frozen from the refrigerated section. The latter are of better quality. Greetings from someone who tried them for the first and last time.
UPDATE AFTER THE MANAGER'S RESPONSE:
After the very kind "pizza&pasta" team's crude attempt to justify themselves based on the product's prominence and clear description, I'm updating my review.
The "magnificent" Pisana pizza took two to three working days to digest.
Water consumption during the night was approximately 2 L/m.
Dear "Pizza & Pasta" team, you would have made a better impression simply by apologizing for the poor product offered to your customers.
Just scroll through the list of reviews to find several comments regarding the questionable quality of the prosciutto and salt.
No one said the "pizza" was thick because it didn't rise well. The pizza is a salty and greasy mess, undercooked and not risen.
I might add, inedible, to say the least.
This is certainly not the first time I've ordered a takeout pizza with prosciutto. I've never seen anything like it.
Take a look at the photo; you can see the color of the prosciutto; that alone should give you an idea.
I'll leave the readers of this review to imagine the flavor.
If your philosophy is to ship the raw ingredients separately to obtain an edible product, then by all means, send the yeast in a jar, a tomato press, and the flour separately so you can easily prepare it at home.
Dear "Pizza & Pasta" team, not that I expected any kind of polite response from you after the quality of the product I received.
If you had had even a modicum of kindness, you would have used it to prepare your products.

29/04/2026: Great family run trattoria,good selection of foods including lots of local dishes. Very friendly staff. The quality was very good and filling. Also a wide selection of local wines from the area. I heard they have the best pizzas as well. Definite recommend 👍

11/04/2026: This was really not good! It looked so inviting, but the waiter was a real low point in hospitality. Add 4 frozen pizza bases with some junk toppings on top, and you have the recipe for the worst Italian experience ever. Just stay away from here.

19/10/2025: I'm sorry, but I absolutely don't recommend it. The staff is untrained and sometimes rude. The pizzas are frozen. The tablecloths weren't changed from the previous customer (stains and crumbs everywhere).
The glasses are full of limescale.

01/01/2026: I made a reservation for lunch last Sunday, I arrived at the restaurant at the time of the reservation and found everything closed, but I say, you had my cell phone number, you could have at least let me know.

09/02/2026: Terrible value for money. We ordered five pizzas, one of which was a Margherita, and paid €60.50. And the pizzas other than the Margherita certainly couldn't be called gourmet; they were standard speck, mascarpone, and mushrooms, and cost €13.
They weren't bad, but they weren't exceptional enough to justify such a price. We often order takeout and have never spent that much, even on much better pizzas.

My wife wanted to order hot tea, but this wasn’t on the menu. The waitress kindly ordered tea from another cafe and brought it over for us!
14/10/2025: Stopped by by chance... while visiting Volterra. Superb chickpea pizza. Excellent prices. Stop by, it's worth it.

02/05/2026: Perfectly situated directly onto one of Pistoia’s gorgeous little piazzas, this place is significant insofar as it has a far better than average interior set up .
That said, if you move to the second rear salon ( curiously the front room of this enterprise ‘decored’ in pseudo Louis 16th Century Francophile fashion with nasty cold white linear rectanglular ‘boxed’ chandeliers bearing down on you ) that hideous lighting is replaced by calming soft wall lights ..& whilst the black & white said ‘French’ decor doesn’t change-the mood certainly improves!
Their great claim to fame is of course the seating outside ON the piazza itself- but here where clearly on a lovely morning/afternoon/evening it’s so utterly desirable to be seated .. alas one must run the gauntlet of the terror of second hand smoke..& my husband & myself cannot stand this.
So the bizzare interior refuge is for those like us who value our health & comfort over à view of the world going by.. what a shame we’re cheated of that all over Italy-& of course all Europe too !
Our preluncheon Campari ‘cocktails (sic) weren’t that good-but at €6 each who’s complaining ?
Sort of recommended- with reservations.
14/02/2026: The antipathy of the cashier outweighs all the positive things I wanted to say. I hope for a change in management because the public needs to be treated well. It's a shame because the pizzas are good.

14/11/2025: I need to update the restaurant's opening hours. I went to the restaurant on Friday, November 14th. Google Maps said it was open, but upon arrival, I found everything dark. The number was clear, and they responded to my question if they were open. The answer was a terse no, and they hung up in less than a second, maybe a tenth of a second. Well, I can't review the food, but based on how they responded to my call, I definitely won't be returning.

09/12/2025: An experience not to be repeated. Served after almost an hour, the pizza was cold and undercooked, and the service was rude. Adding insult to injury.
06/12/2025: Terrible service, rude to requests and rude to young people. Terrible, burnt pizza with unwanted ingredients. Terrible, not recommended.
