23/11/2025: It's a shame you can't give it one star because it deserves it. Without a doubt, the worst pizza in all of Marina di Carrara (and the surrounding area). It deserves a prize for the most inedible, worst-topped, most overcooked, and poorly-shaped pizzas in Tuscany and perhaps all of Italy. My carpenter could make better ones for 3,000 lire. If you close Marina di Carrara, celebrate!

14/12/2025: One evening I happened to be there with my husband. It had been a while since I'd been there. We had a drink and then an appetizer. In the end, two arrived, but let's eat them. Two pizzas, and we'd been there for an hour. The pizzas were good, but the burnt black crust ruined the taste. It's a shame they ruined the aesthetics, yes. We were disappointed by the waitress, who was very rude to us. I don't know if we'll be back.

16/03/2026: I agree with other recent reviews that have highlighted the issue of interminable waits and lack of consideration. The coffee wait times are real, but this morning, after asking for it twice and seeing the obvious annoyance at the request, I left it there. Under those conditions, they're the ones who drink it. I paid for the pasta and left.

22/02/2026: The pizza is excellent, the service is fast, in short, top notch. One piece of advice: remember to handle the customer well. It's not about me, my service was top notch, but I've noticed that not all customers have the same experience.

18/08/2025: Too bad I can't give it 0 stars. The pizza was awful, probably frozen and low quality. Terrible service: the waitress even made rude jokes in front of my dad. Refine your opinion.

20/07/2025: I stopped in for the first time years ago for no real reason. Since then, it's been a regular stop (even today) on the road between Pisa and Rome. Superb pizza, friendly staff, reasonable prices, and a vintage 1980s atmosphere (like all of Orbetello, after all) that I personally find very pleasant. Recommended.

09/03/2026: The evening featured live music that made dinner a nightmare. The volume was so loud we couldn't even talk to the person sitting next to us. They made us take our orders with a notebook. When we asked for the bill, we had to haggle like we'd never bargained at a fresh fish market, as if prices weren't on the menu, because they wanted to overcharge us by €200 for a table of about 30 people. Terrible.

30/08/2025: We've been customers for several years, and we're sorry to share what happened at the end of August. We arrived at the beach in the morning, and the weather wasn't good; it was raining and there had been a strong storm. Since the forecast was for good weather in the afternoon, we asked if we could return after lunch. They said yes, but asked us the price for the whole day (€70 for two umbrellas). At this point, we looked for a few more beach establishments and found a manager who told us that since we'd only be using the umbrella in the afternoon, and given the sea conditions, he'd charge us €30 in total. Moral of the story: they lost four customers. The other manager gained four for next season.

In addition to the quality of the products, the cleanliness, and the attention to detail, I applaud the professionalism, kindness, and friendliness of the staff, especially Emanuela! 31/08/2025: We just had the best macchiato in two weeks of vacation, thanks to the skill of a tattooed, modest, and smiling brunette. The other curly-haired employee was also friendly.

07/01/2026: Pizzeria on the promenade. The pizza used to be good, but I think pizzerias don't exist anymore.

22/09/2025: Service: The wine we wanted to drink, which the staff said was a great decision, wasn't available. The bottle that we then ordered was brought to us open, but we couldn't even test it first, so we had to pour the first glass ourselves. The waiter had problems speaking english and was not flexible at all with the dish selection, since many dishes weren't available. We had to pay inside at the register, so with all that in mind, why does one have to pay cover charge? Food: The mozarella in the caprese salad was very jewy and the olive oil and aceto balsamico came in plastic bags, again why cover charge? The fish was okay but bland. The gnocchi were mushy and the shrimp sauce tasted frozen with a weird rotten fish aftertaste. Also the shrimps were cut open and there were scissors of other sea animals in the dish. We had to return it because it was inedible.
