25/07/2025: Deze zaak is volledig veranderd en serveert geen pizza's meer. Het is nu een enoteca en niet geschikt voor kinderen. Dit hadden ze wel even mogen aanpassen op Google en hier op Tripadvisor.

I'm not very happy with the rotisserie part.
02/08/2025: The worst pizza I've ever tasted. Unfortunately, when there's a high demand, you work regardless, but in other places this pizza wouldn't be offered. The dough is full of oil. It's not very leavened and it's high. The takeaway pizzas arrived cold. The prosciutto was baked and not added raw. If I had wanted it cooked, I would have ordered it cooked. It's black and very salty. Congratulations. Next time, we'll get them frozen from the refrigerated section when they're over. The latter are of better quality. Greetings from someone who tried them for the first and last time.

18/08/2025: Too bad I can't give it 0 stars. The pizza was awful, probably frozen and low quality. Terrible service: the waitress even made rude jokes in front of my dad. Refine your opinion.
20/07/2025: I stopped in for the first time years ago for no real reason. Since then, it's been a regular stop (even today) on the road between Pisa and Rome. Superb pizza, friendly staff, reasonable prices, and a vintage 1980s atmosphere (like all of Orbetello, after all) that I personally find very pleasant. Recommended.

30/11/2025: An embarrassing experience, to say the least. We were served by a "waitress" who couldn't have been 18 yet, with a broken POS terminal and poor counting skills. She was incapable of answering questions and lacked competence. It's clearly not her fault, but this place lacks staff, atmosphere, and service.
30/10/2025: The small market square is the perfect spot for a quick bite of sandwiches with good charcuterie. There were several hot chocolate options, and the one we ordered was excellent.

07/10/2025: We had classic sciacciatina and mushroom pizza for dinner. Both were simply deliciously crispy, yet still juicy and flavorful. Finally, a very good pizza in Livorno. The staff are all very friendly. The value for money is excellent, especially because the service meets the highest standards.
We sat outside at the tables on the street... simple, pleasant, and welcoming atmosphere.
Keep it up, guys! You're great.

14/12/2025: Last night we were in Empoli and decided to stop at this bar for an aperitivo with some friends. The place is located just steps from the Gramsci parking lot and the Christmas markets. It has on-street parking and parking in nearby streets and adjacent areas. We didn't choose the apericena option, which included a variety of buffet dishes, including pasta dishes. Four Spritzes with table service cost €40 (excluding appetizers and snacks). The staff was courteous, but not very attentive to the customer; perhaps the large number of customers caused confusion. In addition to the indoor seating, there were also tables outside on the heated terrace.
24/09/2025: A truly beautiful bar, with excellent service! Very courteous and friendly, Azzurra will amaze you with her artistic cappuccinos!

11/12/2025: Mine is not a review but a report, having to go to Sassetta for personal reasons I saw what was open to eat something, on Google it said open, arrived in Sassetta it was closed and I assure you that Sassetta is not a big city where if it is closed one will take you elsewhere.....
15/10/2025: We stayed with Salvatore in an Airbnb at age at Maria Pisa’s twice , the ravioli was delicious and Louie and his wife were also wonderful. We just wished they were open every day.

07/12/2025: Our experience at this trattoria was, unfortunately, a profound disappointment in every way.
Expectations for a Tuscan trattoria are high, but what we received fell far short of the attention one would expect.
The service was simply terrible. The staff was rude and uninterested in our requests (they even chose the order of the courses).
We waited a long time both to order and to receive our dishes.
Such unprofessional service completely ruins the atmosphere.
I would also advise the waiters, one in particular, to smile a little; it ruins the atmosphere of the trattoria :)
To make matters worse, the final bill was excessively high and disproportionate to the quality offered.
Absolutely not recommended!!
16/11/2025: The service was very slow. The atmosphere was below expectations, unbecoming of such a nice place. And the service charge was very high. We only came for a drink and a snack so we ordered appetizers, but it took nearly 20 minutes to arrive. And they charged the same amount for the appetizers. And this was all at a very, very slow service.

13/08/2025: A restaurant that, for those who live here, has always been a point of reference and a meeting place. For me, it holds a special meaning: I've celebrated birthdays and anniversaries here, and spent many family dinners—moments I cherish forever.
Il Cavallino is and remains a happy place, filled with laughter, music, conviviality, and the flavors that bear Giuseppina's signature: fragrant pizzas, carefully prepared dishes, and that authentic atmosphere that only she has created.

09/11/2025: New experience unlocked: eating badly in Italy, or rather in Tuscany!
A mixed cheese platter that was anything but mixed. We certainly weren't expecting, in a region with such a wide variety of local products like this, four pieces of Parmesan and two of a banal supermarket cheese.
We ordered gnocchi, and finished them. Then we ordered pasta with zucchini flowers and guanciale, but it tasted only of soffritto, curry, and stale guanciale oil... not a single zucchini flower was in it.
I regret not having read the other reviews before. A real tourist trap.
Ps. The water jugs were filthy!! 🤢

18/11/2025: A good spot overlooking the river and Ponte Vecchio. Nice outdoor terrace. The food was plentiful and good quality, despite the vast majority of diners being foreigners. Ideal for a short break while exploring the city.
13/11/2025: The best restaurant in Florence, even for Florentines!!! Absolutely special ♥️
