Staff were very attentitive, as soon as the rain started they ran out to put umbrellas up so no one got wet. Food was great, tables maybe a bit close to each other but other wise perfect.

I recommend it. Very tasty food. Close to the tower. We got a table for four without any problems, even though it was May 1st and the place was packed.

We loved this place. They were so kind, even though we went at an odd time (4:00pm). The food was delicious (now I know why they call gnocchetti “little pillows”!), the servers were so helpful and gracious. Thanks to the young woman who took our photo (as my husband points to his risotto dish).

The service and staff were good, but the food wasn't particularly tasty. However, we were made very welcome, even with our dogs, who were even offered a bowl of water. Thank you.

Excellent for tourists who want to eat something authentic from the city and take advantage of their stay in the area. I highly recommend it and everything has been excellent.

We ate very well, both appetizers, first courses, and second courses. The waiters were very friendly and attentive. The prices were in line with what we ordered; we expected more given the location, 100 meters from the square.

PERONI beer is good, Aperol is good quality. Lasagna is like warmed up from the microwave, swordfish is good, Pizza Salami Peperoni with 5 rounds of salami, otherwise it tastes good and big. Right on the menu there is an item called "dřížko" (dřížko) for 2.5 E per person.... Service is smiling and helpful..

21/04/2026: I happened to pass by this shop and bought some Buccellato and Pisan panforte: exceptional. Excellent service, helpful, and kind owner, I highly recommend it.
02/04/2026: The artisanal and traditional sweets are really good and of high quality. The owner is very kind and will be a regular stop every time I am in Pisa.

02/09/2025: Arrived late at a nearby hotel and Googled this restaurant that is closest and reviewed to serve good food with reasonable price. The seats outside were reserved so we had to sit inside. The waiter doesn't understand English but when I asked about WiFi he gave me their password which I used for translating the menu so we could order. Busy as he was by himself the young waiter was able to graciously serve the sudden crowd from the hotel. The food was the best I had so far halfway this tour from France, Spain and Italy going forward.
