Pizzeria Da Lara In Pisa

I ordered a pizza (plain Napoli, with capers and anchovies) through Deliveroo, and it couldn't have been better. Aside from the delivery driver's kindness, the pizza was truly delicious: just the right size, the crust just thick enough, soft and fluffy even when it cooled (it arrived lukewarm), perfectly cooked, and generous toppings. Of course, it all depends on the staff, but the quality/price ratio seems objectively excellent. I'd give it even more than 5 stars.

This place makes excellent pizzas and cecina, as well as delicatessen. I go there often because it's very close to my house. The service is good, and I've always had a good experience.

I'm disappointed... I've been having pizza at least once a week for years... but it's been disappointing for the last four weeks. The pizza is thin, dry, and barely topped... and yet, until a month ago, it was lovely and soft, made on a pan, and full of oil... just like Pisan pizza!!! This time, it was impossible to eat... it was really dry... I hope, after the phone call to the pizzeria, things will go back to normal.
