17/01/2026: Bad music, way too crowded, unpleasant people. They let anyone in. The men are extremely pushy and don't take no for an answer. Plus, there's nowhere to dance and the atmosphere is awful. They mixed "Losing It" with reggaeton. Worst club experience of my life. One star is way too much.

18/05/2026: The pizzeria with that name no longer exists. Ten years ago, we were at the campsite opposite. Today, we wanted to go to David 2, but the shutters were down, and a local resident confirmed that this pizzeria is no longer there. A new pizzeria has opened at the campsite instead.

29/03/2026: The owner and staff are incredibly kind and friendly. The pizza is light and never burnt, and the wait is almost non-existent. I recommend David 2 because it's a relaxing and welcoming place, thanks to the owner and staff. With David 2, your evenings won't be a simple stop-off. Giorgio and his staff manage to work professionally and communicate with customers at the same time (a huge strength). You never get bored with them, and customers quickly become friends. 03/06/2026: A decidedly disappointing experience. The restaurant's website listed pizza on the menu, but once we were seated, we were informed that they no longer serve it—a piece of information that should have been updated long ago. The fryer was out of order, so my daughters couldn't order fries. Again, it would have been helpful to know this in advance. My dish arrived incorrectly. They offered to exchange it, but I preferred not to cause any problems and just leave it as it was. However, when the bill came, not a single cent was deducted as an apology or compensation. I find this disrespectful to the customer. Finally, the thing that left us most perplexed: the water bottle was already opened and so covered in fingerprints that it was opaque on the outside—a clear sign of reuse. An unacceptable hygienic practice. We won't be returning, and I strongly advise the restaurant to update their website and seriously review their service and hygiene standards.

12/07/2026: Dinner with friends, very nice place, efficient and fast service despite the restaurant being full... shame about the food... poor quality spaghetti with clams, tasteless, it seemed like eating a simple pasta with oil and overcooked, fried food with poor quality potatoes and terrible and overpriced wine (from €10-13 in the supermarket it is sold for €28!!!).

06/07/2026: We're here on holiday. My daughter's birthday is today, and she wanted to eat at this restaurant with a sea view. For some reason, we weren't served, which I found very disappointing. We were completely ignored. Thanks for nothing.

She's always in line anyway...*** I'm rewriting the review so the owner understands. The staff works really, really hard. The place is beautiful. What don't I like? First, whether you've booked or not, you'll be left waiting in line outside until you're called. Second, I think they're overbooked and can't handle the influx of people. (In the summer, all the restaurants have shifts for lunch and dinner, so let's be clear.) Third, I didn't like the pizza because of the dough. And fourth, the bathrooms, which are in a small building in the middle of a garden, are dirty because of the uncivilized people? Maybe, but since anyone coming up from the beach or a beautiful garden can access it, it's not just customers who can go there. And in my opinion, the bathrooms are unusable and need to be cleaned. The prices, especially for the food, are very high. Incidentally, my opinion is shared by many people. Read all the people who gave it one or two stars. And the piqued responses speak volumes. Sic... 02/06/2026: I ordered some pizzas for 9:30 PM by calling at 8 PM and confirming the order. I was on my way to pick them up when they called me at 9:25 PM to say they'd run out of pizza bases, and when I asked why, they even hung up on me. The courtesy, professionalism, and organization were ZERO!!

24/05/2026: We dined at this restaurant for my son's class's end-of-year dinner: there were 21 of us and 11 adults. I had booked about three weeks in advance, clearly specifying that it was a school dinner for 11-12 year-olds. Because of the large number of us, the owner offered us a set menu: a pizza round, chips, and drinks for 10 euros for the kids, while for the adults, an appetizer, pizza round, drinks, and coffee were for 20 euros. He also asked me about the school and class. Three days before the dinner, I called back to confirm the reservation, menu, and prices, and everything was confirmed without any changes. On the evening of the dinner, however, only four trays of pizza arrived for 21 kids. Some of the kids only ate one or two pieces, and no staff member ever came to ask if they wanted more. Considering it was marketed as "pizza rounds until you say enough," we honestly expected a different service. The kids, however, were satisfied and went out to play. The real problem came when it came to the bill: the agreed-upon €10 had suddenly become €12 per child, with the explanation that "the children were older than expected." This was an absurd justification, given that I had specified their age, school, and class from the beginning, and especially since nothing beyond the agreed-upon menu was requested. After a few rather unpleasant moments, and after reiterating what had been clarified over the phone, the owner finally charged us the price we had originally agreed upon. It was a shame, because I wouldn't have had anything to say about the quality of the food or the service itself. What I didn't like at all was the owner's attitude: trying to make the customer look like a liar after having a table of 32 people was truly unprofessional. Unfortunately, the experience was ruined by inappropriate and unpleasant behavior.

05/04/2026: The place seems unwelcoming. However, I'd like to point out the excellent music selection curated by the manager. The appetizers are delicious, featuring supplì (remarkable) and bruschetta (which needs revisiting). The pizzas are crunchy and very thin. At first glance, they're good. Overall rating: excellent. Best restaurant in Albinia, hands down.

05/06/2026: The value for money is top-notch; those who complain want to have their cake and eat it, as they say in Tuscany. Honest prices like that aren't even found in campsites on the island, which has become almost inaccessible. Le Venelle is a somewhat basic place, for those with no expectations and who know they've spent little. Spending little also means not expecting the best. There were 16 of us, four apartments. Everything was fairly new, a few broken pieces here and there, but who cares? Two barbecue grills and free firewood available, and tables outside. The place is surrounded by greenery in the countryside. The only real flaw is that the sofa beds are very uncomfortable. Ideal for groups of friends and families with no expectations, who want to enjoy the island without spending a fortune.
