The food is always good, but over the years it's lost its character, it's grown considerably, adding more and more tables, and like almost all the places in the area, it's getting a bit snobbish... A focaccia, on average, has reached 9 euros; with three focaccias for two, a couple of beers, a dessert to share, and two coffees, you can easily get to around fifty euros... I'm sorry, but that's really too much.

Locale storico di Marina di Pietrasanta, ottimamente collocato davanti al parco della Versiliana. Le focaccine ripiene sono come di consueto buone, ma il servizio non si è rivelato molto efficiente, abbiamo dovuto attendere a lungo.

20/06/2026: Young and friendly staff. The tordelli (€10) are delicious, and the panna cotta with strawberries (€4) is delicious. Cover charge is €2. I recommend booking.

Pizzeria Strapizzami

10/06/2026: Wednesday night 8pm, just around the corner from our B&B. A simple small pizzeria, good welcome even though we speak no Italian. This is excellent food and very good value for money.
02/06/2026: I ordered a takeout pizza and it felt like home! The owner of Garbatella, a truly remarkable Roman pizza. We'll see you next time we're in Lucca!
