18/05/2026: The pizzeria with that name no longer exists. Ten years ago, we were at the campsite opposite. Today, we wanted to go to David 2, but the shutters were down, and a local resident confirmed that this pizzeria is no longer there. A new pizzeria has opened at the campsite instead.

29/03/2026: The owner and staff are incredibly kind and friendly. The pizza is light and never burnt, and the wait is almost non-existent. I recommend David 2 because it's a relaxing and welcoming place, thanks to the owner and staff. With David 2, your evenings won't be a simple stop-off. Giorgio and his staff manage to work professionally and communicate with customers at the same time (a huge strength). You never get bored with them, and customers quickly become friends. The waitresses are Brazilian, extremely polite, and ready to help with any questions!! The house wine is perfect! The view is perfect! A must-visit spot, a stop, and a great meal!!!

It was late and out of season, yet the lovely staff were quick to serve us excellent fresh fish, a perfect, dry and delicate fried calamari, and an excellent house tagliolini. The beef and potatoes were also carefully prepared. We had a great time, comfortable, and left satisfied even after seeing and paying the bill. Seeing is believing. 🥂

We arrived at 8:00 PM, and at 9:15 PM, he arrogantly told us to get up because he had a second shift at 9:30 AM, expressing surprise that we didn't know (no one had told us when we booked!). He continued to clear the table in a very rude manner, trying to make us understand that we had to leave. I strongly advise against it! It's a shame because the atmosphere is nice and only one waitress is friendly.

04/05/2026: I had a mixed fried squid and shrimp for about €20. There were two shrimps, but the fried food was very greasy, dripping oil, and very rubbery. I told the waitress, but she didn't even respond.

04/05/2026: On our way back from a camper trip, we stopped for dinner at the Barbarossa restaurant. We had a wonderful time. The seafood dishes were generously portioned, including mussels with pepper, stewed cuttlefish, spaghetti with clams, and cacciucco (fish stew). Every dish was HEAVENLY. Our sincerest compliments to the entire staff. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

01/01/2026: I'd like to offer some constructive feedback, hoping it's encouraging. I'd like to point out the location and, above all, the service: the lady was truly friendly and helpful. The baked potatoes were also a positive note. Unfortunately, however, the food didn't convince us. Among the seafood appetizers, we found canned beans and chickpeas, industrial croutons, and a pink sauce without shrimp; the mussels were also very small. The wine by the glass was served with too much foam (beer-like). As for the main courses, the tuna had an unpleasant aftertaste, and the vegetable side was clearly frozen: in a place like this, you'd expect fresh, seasonal vegetables sautéed in a pan. The desserts were also disappointing. There's potential, but I strongly recommend renovating the place and focusing on fresh ingredients. We'd happily return if the food was as carefully prepared as the hospitality.

She's essentially telling me I'm mentally unskilled, but she'll continue to have the same problems with people because I see she's not interested in understanding or improving. She's always in line anyway...*** I'm rewriting the review so the owner understands. The staff works really, really hard. The place is beautiful. What don't I like? First, whether you've booked or not, you'll be left waiting in line outside until you're called. Second, I think they're overbooked and can't handle the influx of people. (In the summer, all the restaurants have shifts for lunch and dinner, so let's be clear.) Third, I didn't like the pizza because of the dough. And fourth, the bathrooms, which are in a small building in the middle of a garden, are dirty because of the uncivilized people? Maybe, but since anyone coming up from the beach or a beautiful garden can access it, it's not just customers who can go there. And in my opinion, the bathrooms are unusable and need to be cleaned. The prices, especially for the food, are very high. Incidentally, my opinion is shared by many people. Read all the people who gave it one or two stars. And the piqued responses speak volumes. Sic... I don't recommend it, you'll ruin your evening with nerves.
