08/07/2026: A tourist trap! The restaurant is located in a prime tourist location. Unfortunately, the staff has a very dismissive attitude. One man invites you to the tables and hands you the menu, while another obliges you by coming over to take your order. Requests and calls for someone to come to the table are in vain. The waiter will come whenever "he" feels like it. This is a restaurant where the customer doesn't decide whether to tip the restaurant; it's automatically added to the bill at €3 per person. The customer service here is a sophisticated theater of condescending and arrogant behavior. Even embarrassing smiles and turning away from the customer when we asked for bill details. The only positive thing is the delicious food. If you have a choice, avoid this restaurant and choose another one, where you might be met with respect and a smile from the staff.

07/07/2026: We had a group of 8 and we ordered 8 pastas here for around €17.50 each and they were all incredibly delicious. Many of us said that our pastas were the best we’ve had in all of Italy! Great portions, a huge variety of options and gluten free options available. The restaurant had an excellent location next to the river with heaps of outdoor seating. Giovanna and the other servers were all very polite, welcoming and helpful which made the experience even better. I highly recommend this restaurant for dinner and couldn’t be more impressed!

07/06/2026: I give 3 stars because on Deliveroo with shipping it costs me a lot to get a Margherita, but without considering the price of delivery it's a good pizzeria

03/06/2026: A decidedly disappointing experience. The restaurant's website listed pizza on the menu, but once we were seated, we were informed that they no longer serve it—a piece of information that should have been updated long ago. The fryer was out of order, so my daughters couldn't order fries. Again, it would have been helpful to know this in advance. My dish arrived incorrectly. They offered to exchange it, but I preferred not to cause any problems and just leave it as it was. However, when the bill came, not a single cent was deducted as an apology or compensation. I find this disrespectful to the customer. Finally, the thing that left us most perplexed: the water bottle was already opened and so covered in fingerprints that it was opaque on the outside—a clear sign of reuse. An unacceptable hygienic practice. We won't be returning, and I strongly advise the restaurant to update their website and seriously review their service and hygiene standards.

24/05/2026: Said they are open on Sundays 715-930 Hard no, walked around for 20 mins trying to find a different entrance Ended up next door. Was pretty good

07/10/2025: We had classic sciacciatina and mushroom pizza for dinner. Both were simply deliciously crispy, yet still juicy and flavorful. Finally, a very good pizza in Livorno. The staff are all very friendly. The value for money is excellent, especially because the service meets the highest standards. We sat outside at the tables on the street... simple, pleasant, and welcoming atmosphere. Keep it up, guys! You're great.

09/05/2026: The rooms are nice, but the bathrooms, which are definitely too small, need some rethinking. Parking is limited, but the location is great, just steps from the sea and with the option of a private beach. Friendly staff and reasonable prices.

08/06/2026: We went there by chance with friends who knew the place... there is a vast menu... we had different dishes... all good and excellent presentations... from pizza to fish to meat... nice place... nice staff... I can't tell you the price... because dinner was offered to me😅

03/04/2026: Shameful, child-sized portions. A tiny chicken breast and a side of vegetables that contained four small slices of zucchini, a tiny piece of bell pepper, and four very small slices of eggplant. I went home and ate because I was so hungry. I'll never go back.

14/08/2025: I booked through the app, they gave me availability, they also sent me an email the day of the reservation to remind me that I had a table reserved for that evening and then they were closed for holidays... CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Ps: last but not least they also asked me for my opinion and thanked me for staying with them (???) and hoped, jokes, that the experience was unforgettable. Yes, it was... Unforgettable...

14/06/2026: Not good - food was extremely bland, service was unfriendly. There was unappetizing and undressed wilted lettuce as a garnish on every plate. Bathrooms are disgusting and didn’t have soap.

16/05/2026: The crowds during mealtime were more frequent than I expected. Every dish I ordered today was delicious! I even used the cod sauce to spread on bread and ate it all up.

21/02/2026: Gorgeous place, great atmosphere, but they don't know how to make cocktails. If you want something simple to drink and high-priced food, this is the perfect place.

17/01/2026: Bad music, way too crowded, unpleasant people. They let anyone in. The men are extremely pushy and don't take no for an answer. Plus, there's nowhere to dance and the atmosphere is awful. They mixed "Losing It" with reggaeton. Worst club experience of my life. One star is way too much.

18/05/2026: The pizzeria with that name no longer exists. Ten years ago, we were at the campsite opposite. Today, we wanted to go to David 2, but the shutters were down, and a local resident confirmed that this pizzeria is no longer there. A new pizzeria has opened at the campsite instead.

29/03/2026: The owner and staff are incredibly kind and friendly. The pizza is light and never burnt, and the wait is almost non-existent. I recommend David 2 because it's a relaxing and welcoming place, thanks to the owner and staff. With David 2, your evenings won't be a simple stop-off. Giorgio and his staff manage to work professionally and communicate with customers at the same time (a huge strength). You never get bored with them, and customers quickly become friends.
