01/01/2026: I'll add, for the owner who keeps arguing and has hundreds of reviews like mine, that my husband teaches restaurant techniques, and when I speak up, she rightfully continues to insult me ​​by talking about my IQ. She's essentially telling me I'm mentally unskilled, but she'll continue to have the same problems with people because I see she's not interested in understanding or improving. She's always in line anyway...*** I'm rewriting the review so the owner understands. The staff works really, really hard. The place is beautiful. What don't I like? First, whether you've booked or not, you'll be left waiting in line outside until you're called. Second, I think they're overbooked and can't handle the influx of people. (In the summer, all the restaurants have shifts for lunch and dinner, so let's be clear.) Third, I didn't like the pizza because of the dough. And fourth, the bathrooms, which are in a small building in the middle of a garden, are dirty because of the uncivilized people? Maybe, but since anyone coming up from the beach or a beautiful garden can access it, it's not just customers who can go there. And in my opinion, the bathrooms are unusable and need to be cleaned. The prices, especially for the food, are very high. Incidentally, my opinion is shared by many people. Read all the people who gave it one or two stars. And the piqued responses speak volumes. Sic... I don't recommend it, you'll ruin your evening with nerves.

26/02/2026: The time has come to hang up my boots... After years and years of good work, I don't think it's worth continuing to come here, as it will ruin the fond memories of what once was. The wait, despite the place not being full, is excessively long (45 minutes for two pizzas). The price was fair for the pizza it was, that is, when you couldn't finish a capricciosa; now the price is the same, but the pizza is noticeably lighter and more flavorless. It breaks my heart to have to give up coming to such a stoic place, but today it's no longer worth it. This dinner was just confirmation of the situation, since I'd been there before but didn't want to believe it.

06/02/2026: Lovely people! Great food! My school has vouchers and this has become my favorite spot! The place is usually lively or a little quiet! The owners are nice and the boy who speaks english is nice! The son makes the pizzas I believe and he is lovely! I have a sensitive stomach so I found that the tortellini al ragu not only tastes great but makes me feel full and settled! I am American and ordered pepperoni pizza not knowing it was peppers lol! I had never eaten it before so i was hesitant but it was great! I also love the tiramisu! I have tried it almost everywhere I can but this is the best one I have eaten!! Definitely will continue to come here!

05/01/2026: We stayed at this resort for three nights and had a truly positive experience. The real added value is the staff: wonderful and always available. Special thanks go to Stephane, the bartender and chef, who welcomed us every morning with a smile and spectacular breakfasts: his homemade cakes and brioches are unforgettable! The rooms are lovely and very clean. My only small complaint concerns the housekeeping service: I was disappointed that the bathroom wasn't cleaned daily. Overall, however, it's an excellent property where we would gladly return.

11/10/2025: Excellent restaurant! Every course, from appetizer to dessert, was delicious! The chef and his staff are incredibly experienced, bringing quality and kindness to the table! Highly recommended!

24/12/2025: Pizzeria Athos, the pizzeria of my youth and ours. Summer evenings with pizza and beer from the 70s and 80s, etc., up to today. The pizza is good, obviously not the same flavor as 50 years ago, but it's pleasant and enjoyable. The biggest aesthetic difference is the mozzarella, which in the 70s was cut into round pieces. Nowadays, as is common practice, it's ground and arranged more precisely on the pizza. The only criticism is the price: €2.00 for a small piece; perhaps €1.50 would have been more than fair. We're on the Passeggiata in Viareggio, so you can spend a little more without too much trouble.

23/09/2025: It was a huge disappointment. The tables were so dirty that my son's arm stuck to them. My husband and son asked for Milanese-style fried meat, but instead they got a piece of meat dripping with oil thrown on a paper towel without any side dish. All this for 8 euros. My daughter and I ordered fried seafood, which was brought out on one plate for 2 portions. I didn't understand why it couldn't be served on separate plates. But when I saw the portion, I thought it was a joke... no one would have lived well with all this portion for 2x14 euros. Then the french fries that we intended as a side dish came about 10 minutes later. Why don't they serve the main course with the side dish, preferably at the same time and hot? Not to mention the smell in the bathroom. So that's why there were only 2 tables full in the huge restaurant. The other tables are all empty. We will definitely not come here again. We have eaten much better food in places that are much better for this money. The chef and the cleaner are due for replacement.

01/01/2026: I'd like to offer some constructive feedback, hoping it's encouraging. I'd like to point out the location and, above all, the service: the lady was truly friendly and helpful. The baked potatoes were also a positive note. Unfortunately, however, the food didn't convince us. Among the seafood appetizers, we found canned beans and chickpeas, industrial croutons, and a pink sauce without shrimp; the mussels were also very small. The wine by the glass was served with too much foam (beer-like). As for the main courses, the tuna had an unpleasant aftertaste, and the vegetable side was clearly frozen: in a place like this, you'd expect fresh, seasonal vegetables sautéed in a pan. The desserts were also disappointing. There's potential, but I strongly recommend renovating the place and focusing on fresh ingredients. We'd happily return if the food was as carefully prepared as the hospitality.

02/03/2026: One of the best pizzas I've had lately! Pizzeria Pizzino's dough is incredibly light and easy to digest, with a high, fluffy crust, just the way I like it. The toppings are deliciously fresh and top-quality. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the service is quick and friendly. If you're looking for the quality and authentic flavor of good pizza, this is the perfect place. Highly recommended!

17/11/2025: We're not there, the pizza isn't that great, my wife, who had ordered pizza with burrata, was asked if it would be okay with buffalo mozzarella, which isn't exactly the same thing, the atmosphere is a bit desolate, which is a shame because we had been there a while ago and found it much worse.

28/09/2025: I've been eating pizza at this place for years..... this evening I called for 3 take-out pizzas and was told 10 minutes and they'll be ready..... so we rushed to get there and after 40 minutes of waiting I was told that I had to tell the pizza chef and that it was my fault....... this is not at all the way to treat people who pay you and expect a damn decent service....... absolute disappointment and there will be no next time, shame that less than 1 star can't be given.......

Reading the reviews, it's clear this is your custom. And even when I find it open, the rudeness is borderline acceptable. You clearly don't love what you do. It's very unfortunate to be mocked like this.

17/02/2026: I arrived at 12, and unfortunately there wasn't much left... but what I got was TOP!!! The focaccia was excellent, not to mention the cream-filled fritters, they melted in your mouth!!!! Highly recommended!!!
