07/10/2025: The shop is newly renovated. Small but perfectly formed. Pizzas are available both to take away and to eat in. There's indoor and outdoor seating. The owners are very friendly. A wide selection of pizzas is available. Drinks are available only by the bottle, but by glass. Bread and desserts are also available. The best pizza in the area. We'll be back.

21/09/2025: Awesome pizza, a pleasant discovery! I've had the pleasure of trying takeout pizza from Pizzeria Il Veliero several times, and I must say it's always been an excellent experience. The pizza is truly delicious; you can clearly taste the care taken in selecting and using high-quality ingredients. So far, I've always had a great experience with takeout, but the atmosphere is beautiful and welcoming, and the staff has proven to be friendly and polite. This piqued my interest, and I can't wait to try their seafood, too. I'll definitely be back for a full sit-down dinner.

03/10/2025: Fantastic pizza! Worth a visit. I went back yesterday after six years. The pizza is still delicious. We also tried the carbonara, which was amazing. The house white wine was perfect. Very friendly service. When in Volterra, be sure to stop by for a bite to eat :)

03/09/2025: From the outside, it doesn't look like much, but once inside, it more than makes up for it. The pizza was very tasty, but the seafood spaghetti was worth a solid 10 stars. "Grandma" is a very good and flavorful cook. So, I'll go there again to try out the rest. I'm already looking forward to it.

12/07/2025: MeryAnna is a good restaurant serving simple, authentic dishes. We ordered an appetizer of cured meats and crostini. The cured meats were good and tasty, and perhaps they could have added a little more cheese. The first courses were very tasty and plentiful. The penne alla pecora and pici all'aglione were plentiful and very good. The service was attentive but not overwhelming. Overall, it was a good dining experience.

The only shame is that it's always crowded. The space is really tight, and it's hard to talk inside. Plus, the staff is always in a rush and never gets to focus on the customers. A real shame, because the food is truly worth it.

Giuseppe is a person you'd be hard pressed to find elsewhere: always attentive, thoughtful, and helpful. Super prices and pampering service. The steak was sliced ​​with melted butter that melted in your mouth. The appetizers were made with local products, and it's hard not to notice that the cured meats are on a whole other level, given the non-delicatessen cut. The location and team are worth a visit. The kitchen does not seem to be their strong point, we ate first courses based on fish, made to their imagination or according to what was available, never eaten such disappointing spaghetti with seafood. The waiter who acted stupid..

04/08/2025: Excellent La Golosa pizza, with a wide selection of options and prices, excellent red double malt beer, and excellent value for money. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive staff, quick ordering and preparation times. The place is clean and well-maintained. Reservations were made by phone a week in advance. The place was fully booked, and even though dinner was on a Tuesday, there's both indoor and outdoor dining available. I'll definitely be back.
